Oh Carol!❤ What a wonderfully fun video! I love that you showed all the fun items and that you had so many variations, even the fun pink one. 😊 And seeing your Borrowers book cover brought back so many great memories. I loved those stories ❤
Hello! I love how much fun you have! Such an infectious laugh! I love your accent and listening to you speak! Love all your ideas! I will surely try this!
This is great? I have glued tissue paper onto oak tag used by dressmakers, but I think it looks much better glued to itself. I look for patterns for tiny dolls, newborns, and premies, because in those sizes the marks are can be closer together than on patterns for larger bodies. Also, I have a lot of old patterns from the Burda company, which are blue. That paper is made to be sewn, stapled, and taped for fitting purposes, so it can be stronger than the thinner tissue you show here. I will be returning g to watch this video a few more times. I love it!
Thank you very much for your comment and support. I haven’t seen burda tissue, I will look out for it, sounds like a fun item to play with. I just have so much of this tissue ! When I glued it together it gets pretty strong, I also like using it as a collage element.😊

@@RecraftedByCarol I am trying...although I was up till 4:45am...COULD NOT SLEEP! Ugh...I hate that! I will get through the day though and then hopefully sleep really good tonight!

I appreciate your comment Jackie, you can still do this project by glueing the sides and if you want the stitching look do little dashes as faux stitches around.

I'm making a neutral junk journal for a friend. I will pull out my tissue paper that I'm not using for these techniques. Thank you.
Fantastic 😊thank you for watching and commenting !
Can you do any of these without a sewing machine? I wonder if the paper would work with glue or if its too thin.
Yes it does work, some are done without stitching. You can layer them together with glue to make the paper stronger. 🩷
@@RecraftedByCarol thanks! I'll give it a shot!
At the 1501 mark of the video, the images and the tissue, did you print the image on the tissue or put the tissue over the images?
I simply glued the tissue over the image 😊 thanks for the question I should have explained that better, I had a distraction lol
❤❤❤❤
Thank you 😊
what do you call the round things with a grommet in the center?
They are eyelets !
We all don’t have sewing machines!
I appreciate your comment Jackie, you can still do this project by glueing the sides and if you want the stitching look do little dashes as faux stitches around.
Those things you couldn't remember what they were called are brads.
Thank you ☺️ I get memory blocks sometimes lol
I love the ruffle but don't have a sewing machine.
Hi, You can get quite a good result if you use tacky glue and scrunch as you go, I hope you give them a try 😊❤️
@@RecraftedByCarol Thank you. That is a very good idea ! ❤️
Brads
they are called “brads”
Thank you !I do know I just keep forgetting names of things lol
@@RecraftedByCarol i do that as well, especially when filming :)
