If Dhar Mann truly was trying to teach life lesson and change lives, he should probably address more logically into criminal behavioral actions or thoughts, and ACTUALLY teach other kids to be aware of bad parenting situations. Because bad parenting is something that is actually a major problem in society and it is something that Dhar Mann can truly make a difference with. But sadly that’s not the case with his lessons.

true. The police have been involved many times, and yet, they still don't do anything about it. In real life, the police would get involved, and the parents would most likely lose custody of their kids, at least until they can prove otherwise
As a hot take: I’m pretty sure it’s not a great thing to teach children that the second you hit 18 you cannot rely on your support system at all. Sure as a kid grows up we want them to be more independent but calling your parents (or another supportive party) when you messed up big time is not admitting defeat. It’s using the support network you have and being an adult enough to swallow your pride and be accountable that you messed up
I don't see that as a hot take, especially with how our economy is going lol. It used to be looked down upon for adults to still be living with their parents. I remember back in middle school I didn't fully participate in some assignment where we had to imagine we had a dream job and budget it. Don't remember what I did, but I was trying to look at it more realistically then imaginatively lol. I remember the librarian and principal talked to me afterwards since they thought I was a bright student asked me why I didn't give myself more money. They asked " you don't want to get stuck living at home do you"? Then I think the Principal brought up the movie "failure to launch" up with the librarian. They both laughed and the focus of the conversation ended up shifting away from me. Funny thing is recently I finally watched that movie and I would argue the protagonist characters who are living at home are more successful then I have ever been lol. Point is we now live in a day and age where living at home is perfectly acceptable because the housing situation is just ridiculous lol.
Not a hot take at all. This is just normal I would say. Sure you have to be independent but if you're in real troubles why wouldn't you be able to ask them for support? It's like Dhar Mann isn't a real human and just some kind of AI bot or he lives under a rock.

And the thing is this isn’t even a life lesson, the one thing they did wrong are things they could’ve handled if they were legally adults (driving and calling a bank to report a lost credit card), a lost credit card would be nothing more but a minor inconvenience for a real 21 year old who was just handed money so this whole thing kinda proved the kids point. The free money do whatever is just a terrible idea to begin with though
of course its not a life lesson they didnt even get punished they ran from cops used up a extra 200 almost killed themself and a stranger and to top it all off got the keep their electronics their parents rewarded them in the end after this REWARDED THEM wtf is this do illegal shit gain the ability to go on electronics amazing amazing honestly best take ive ever seen great dhar man video gotta hand it to the writers for this one
It was all because Mikey suggested they not call the mom and admit defeat. Even if they were 21 it still wouldn't be legal to drive unless they had their license, but that wouldn't have even been necessary had they been able to report the card stolen. Which now that I think about it confuses me lol. The kid was clearly able to check how much they spent, so wouldn't thar mean he was on whatever app the card was linked to. He should have been able to report the card missing from there ( unless he needed some type of code that was being sent to the mother, but then that would be even worse since she is trying to teach them about money and just leaves it out for anyone to take lol). Yes I would believe most kids ( not Mikey) would know how to work an app for a card. The amount of kids I see with a cash app card now in days lol.

The thing that the parents don't get is that even when grown up, children call their parents for help. For example, my sister, an ADULT, injured herself by accident while making food, and SHE CALLED MY FATHER FOR HELP! THAT... The parents went too far in this whole becoming an adult thing. If they wanted their kids to get a taste of adulthood, I think they should have started small. Also, are we in a universe where Jayden doesn't exist?
@@audreyparmenter2000 I know right?! I can ALWAYS call my parents if something happened and i can always 100% count on their help and being there for me.
@@AnekoF90 I never played GTA, thank you very much, I played Roblox. GTA shouldn’t have been played by kids, but playing a game where you drink alcohol and have girlfriends isn’t kid friendly, nor should it be supported. Especially since they are 13 year olds. Believe it or not, p0rn has ruined people’s innocence more than violence did. Violent video games don’t make people violent, but p0rn has ruined any chance of people having relationships that’s more than just bedroom activities. The mother is horrible for letting her MIDDLE SCHOOLER son and his friends be adults for a day and letting them play an inappropriate game that’s not for their age demographic.
I love how in real life no working middle-class parent would give a 1000 dollars to their teenage kid and friends just to prove a point or to teach them a lesson
If Mikey kills someone in a video, I can practically imagine the following: Mikey (and probably Jay) get into some dumb situation wherein they come up on a weapon, likely a gun. Mikey does something completely idiotic with the weapon and it irritates an innocent bystander, this escalating the situation. The bystander threatens Mikey (and Jay)'s life, thus he is forced to use the weapon to kill the bystander. Mikey (and Jay) are terrified and traumatized, so they run away. The cops show up at Mikey's door. His mom answers and the cops relay the information they have. They take Mikey into custody. Mikey confesses what happened and explains that, under the circumstances, he felt threatened and had to take the action he did. Then, it is revealed that the entire scenario was a setup and that the life lesson was not to fuck around with weapons (or strangers). Mikey (and Jay) face no punishment whatsoever. Roll credits.
7:42 Did i just hear a middle aged man say "word!". WHY IS THIS IN THE SCRIPT? WHY IS THERE A GROWN ADULT TRYING TO SAY SLANG THAT HE PROBABLY DOESN'T UNDERSTAND BUT SAYS IT ANYWAYS SINCE ITS WHAT THE KIDS NOW ARE SAYING JUST TO SEEM RELATEABLE?
imagine the ki- "adults" get in danger but are too scared to admit defeat that they don't call for help. Also just because you're 21, you still need a license to drive... and it seems that Mikey forgot that they aren't legally 21 meaning they aren't 21 to anyone else.
This has to be the worst depiction of a mother ever. Not only is she turning a blind eye to the fact her kid (and his friends) are playing a virtual game that is clearly not meant for children; but allows her son to demand more money from her because she got a pay raise. Also, the Forever Young song they're singing is the one by Alphaville - not Rod Stewart (making the song even more obscure).
He only had the mom dress as a nurse because he got head for not explaining parents jobs So instead of him actually showing her being a nurse or explaining how hard being a nurse can be with a grueling job, he just puts her in a nurse suit like "so you see I put her in a nurse suit so I'm winning"
Why do these parents expect their children to behave like adults. They’re Children! How should they know! Isn’t it the parent’s job to teach their kids how to be responsible adults? Instead of actually teaching them, these parents are just setting their kids up for failure!
Let's not let our kids have a childhood. Let's show them how real life really works, putting them to work in a 9-5 while studying and having to do a bunch of chores at home. 😃👍
Okay that ending is beyond stupid. It's one thing to let the kids go back to playing online instead of going outside, but she fully knows that the kids are just using the headsets to try and hook up with strangers in VR: strangers who also happen to be a little too old for them. That's just weird, especially with all 3 of them in the same room. I think the mom should have said something about how unhealthy and potentially dangerous that whole situation is.
I'm not part of the dhar mann fam, but I remember 2020/21 dhar mann. I used to keep his videos in the background while doing school projects late at night. Exactly as August said, about 10 minute long videos where a generic character learned a not particularly inspiring lesson. They weren't in any way fun or stimulating, but they were somewhat entertaining and kept my brain awake while working. The videos he does now are just... so far away from any real life situation ever, that only a child could perceive them as actually interesting or useful or whatever. It's not like I "miss the old dhar mann", but it certainly wasn't as bad as this. It just keeps getting worse and I'm sure he will eventually sell off his channel
The fact that these three are committing numerous crimes and get no punishment is geniunely infuriating to no end. Dhar Mann is basically telling kids to commit crimes
Technically in my opinion, it is mainly Mikey and Jay agreeing to committing the crimes and Noah just dragging himself into them. Noah could’ve back out at any point just like Jayden does all the time, but he just remains quiet and inadvertently joins in anyway. And also, i am just so confused at this point, but why is Noah still hanging out with these two?! His character redemption was already demolished in the Noah’s Arc series by remaining friends with them anyway after realizing how much of a bad friendship he is in with them. But in episodes like these, I feel like Noah is SMART enough to know that Mikey and Jay are an enormously bad influence on him and he shouldn’t be hanging out with them anyway, yet he still does! I really don’t get it!
@sirgothnerd9297 Oh yeah!! I remember that kid now! That kid was a really good actor honestly! And I liked him a lot! I wonder what happened to him and why hasn’t he been in any video recently?
Almost hit your car isn't hit your car. Calling the cops might be a bad move. Those kids are A.) Dealing with an angry stranger. B.) In possession of a vehicle they barely know how to operate. The chances that they panic and run you down fleeing and then panic more is non-zero.
I can't. I just can't. I wasn't that stupid when I was ten, and none of my classmates or cohort were either. Naive is one thing, actual stupidity is another. This goes in the dumpster fire.
Quick note- That wasn’t “Forever Young” by Rod Stewart they were singing; it was “Forever Young” by Alphaville. They may have the same title, but they’re very different songs.
That song picked up renewed popularity in the early 2000s, when I was a teenager and it was in the movie “Napoleon Dynamite.” If nowadays teens watched that movie, that’d probably be their intro to the song as well.
I am not trying to support this but- On average, you can expect to pay anywhere from $75 to $200 per hour for a basic limo rental, with prices varying depending on the factors .
What the video should actually be called: TERRIBLE mom, CRAZY mom, & CRINGEY HIP dad allow their sons do whatever they want for 24 hours without supervision, they do NOT live to regret it! (as the blame is put entirely on the children even though it was their parents own stupid idea to let them run around unsupervised)
@@salmascreativitypen4489 You know Dhar Mann is predictable when you know the kids are gonna get blamed for driving the other kid´s mom´s car to get the lost credit card lol
So let's say Dhar Mann actually managed to sell his channel to be on TV or something. Like imagine you're just chilling and suddenly a Dhar Mann show ad shows up and is like "watch this silly goose commit domestic violence so he can learn it's not ok, only on Dhar Dhar TV"
Or an ad “Come watch jay and mikey commit war crimes and get a light slap on the wrist for it featuring noah’s cringe ass dad and Kai cenat fanum tax rizzler sigma gyatt ohio skibidi tv man
One thing that really annoys me about that intro scene is the fact that the girls have to ask if those boys are 21 simply because Jay remarks that he doesn't like alcohol. I get that it's taking place in a virtual reality simulation and isn't real, but has Dhar Mann really never met adults who don't drink? I'm 21 and I vowed to never drink alcohol, so this feels like a slap in the face to me because it's pretty much saying that you have to drink to be considered an adult. And I don't think I need to explain why that's a very concerning message to tell.
I think it was implied that the reason the girls asked that is because Jay spits out the drink as if he's never tried alcohol before and then says alcohol is the one thing he doesn’t like about being an adult, which is weird phrasing if you're, you know, an adult
14:52 first of all they did not spend 700 dollars, they spent 1,700 Anyone who has an online bank account knows that when you are in the negatives that means you spent money you bascially don't have, dhar man clearly doesn't understand how banking works. I said this in the sniperwolf period video but because of all that happened not just in that video but in several other videos like this, I genuinely think the authorities need to look into dhar man, either that or youtube seriously needs to stop messing around and ban dhar man immediately
@JuliaWhite-sp3qo if you watch the sniper wolf video that came out around November or October. dhar man, a 40 year old man, made a video about periods, and the video is beyond disgusting and inappropriate
What an amazing life lesson - Parents should just pay their child to leave them alone and then when they get into trouble, just put them in the virtual world and forget about them! If my parent did that to me, I’d steal a car! Also the intro of this video was possibly the worst cringe I’ve ever felt!
Steal a car? I'd go to the nearest place and steal a console, which would be way more profitable. A car is easy for the owner to recover. The console isn't
ah, yes once you're legal you can't ever ask parents for help or have a support system. you're on your own, buddy. aside from the obvious criminal acts, this is such a horrible message to give kids. and it's supporting toxic family relationships. Mikey's mom really starts giving me the vibes of a mother, who has the "once they're 18 I'm done with them" mindset about kids. because she didn't really want to be a mother and didn't plan for kids, but they happened and now she feels resentful that she can't live the life she wants to. and seeing how her husband is verbally abusive and not always there...there's no wonder Mikey acts out the way he does. Kids tend to do that, when they've got troubled home life. also. If these kids really got arrested by the cops, it wouldn't be them calling the parents. it'd be the police because cops can't arrest and intorregate minors without the legal guardian being present. and if the parents said they're not gonna come bc kids are adults(at 14) and that they just lkeft them to their own devices, police would probably have to inform child protective services, because the parents are neglectful and incompetent. but you won't see that in Dhar Dhar's universe. Because laws and rationality doesn;t exist there.
Bad mother tells her kids she wants nothing to do with them after they turn 18; you won’t believe what happens next. (They both go NC, she never meets her grandchildren, and she rots in a nursing home)
I love this channel because it gives me some thing interesting to listen to, has good editing, and unlike every other damn “story” thing I find is like a hour and thirty minutes line but this is like 10 minutes each, the BEST.😊
I feel like Dhar Mann thinks all families are one of two things. The first is that they are driving a luxury car and that money isn't a problem, and the second is that they are dirt poor and have nothing. It's like he lives in some kind of alternate universe.
"It's like he lives in an alternate universe" Hmmmm.......that's actually not a bad idea. What if someone were to take the concepts of the dhar mann universe and turned it into a legit psychological horror/thriller where someone is trapped in an alternate dimension from which they have to find a way to escape to the real world? Ngl, I'd watch that
What's even weirder is Noah's dad character changed from where we first saw him in the store episode. Also for me rhai biggest missed opportunity is the fact Dhar never addressed how bad Mikey and Jay's parents are in how they go about punishing their kids, Jay's mom wasn't as bad here since she only went with the idea because Mikey's mom pressured her into it, but still. It does genuinely seem at this point the parents enjoy punishing their kids. I also want to note that Mikeys character was inspired by Greg Heffley, so that could also be why they are running with them being this way. I also wonder if Jay has ODD as his behavior really comes off that way, if that's the case this is the worst way to go about it.
More importantly, in "Noah's Arc" episode 1, Noah's dad wasn't even Noah's dad. Noah's dad was actually a teacher, along with other past Dhar Mann videos 💀 it shows how messed up the acting is in those videos.
Speaking of Noah, he's literally gotten less sensible from the first video of the trio. He went from being a good kid, to letting Jay and Mikey spend the night in his dad's store after they pressured and bribed him, and now he's practically like Jay and Mikey. He literally got turned into a bad kid from Jay and Mikey's bad influence on him and Dhar Mann literally admitted the 2 were a bad influence to Noah, Noah stopped letting them mess with him, and in the end they reunited
@@Yesunfortunately-r1xFINALLY!! THANK YOU!! I WAS WAITING FOR SOMEBODY ELSE TO AGREE WITH WHAT I WAS THINKING!! Yeah!! They really have destroyed Noah’s character I think ever since all of these mini series started. Noah before was a great and intelligent kid, and I figured that if his character stay the same and actually had a good redemption, in his Arc series he would have ended the friendship completely with Jay and Mikey and go along with his life with other people who would give him much preferable and safer influences on him. But nope, he is literally written to become the bad boy and inadvertently join Mikey and Jay in all of their dangerous and criminal shenanigans. I am so glad I am not the only one.
Well, some of them are born and are annoying as fuck, and not even because of bad parenting, they just are for no reason. But that's just a minority. 👍
@user-uo4ro8jo4i Eh, I wouldn't entirely co-sign that. Children are more impulsive and have less of a filter. Because they have yet to learn and develop the necessary cognitive capabilities to regulate their emotions and behavior. But they are also somewhat blank slates (at least to some extent) that can be conditioned in any direction. Rough circumstances make it much more difficult and less likely that the child will develop into a functioning and healthy direction. But it's never impossible that somebody, despite all kinds of negative influences, comes out with a few scars but overall fine. There are children that have horrible backgrounds and act the part, so you go "Well, what do you expect ..." but there are also ones that can surprise you with how well they are set up despite so many things working against them. So children aren't disrespectful and rude by default, it's an individual thing. But parents obviously have a huge influence on their child's development and can sometimes actually ruin it.
5:06 THANK YOU FOR SAYING THAT CAUSE I WAS ALSO THINKING HOW THE GAME LOGIC DOESNT MAKE SENSE! Like either that is the most Complex And Advanced game to where NPC’s are able to Ask you Questions that portray to the topic almost perfectly and creepily Or it would be a pre-recorded game and the Game writers are sick pedo’s cause why would you include that question if you werent Expecting minors to play that game-
Being at least 16 doesn’t automatically mean you can legally drive a car either -you have to have a license?? But they didn’t say anything about that when they were considering driving the car-
to be fair if this is real life your not going to give your child a credit card knowing they wouldn't just take smth thats like monthly payment such as a cell phone
In my opinion, it's all the parents fault. They instructed Mikey and his friends that they can do whatever they want, what did they expect? That kid begged his mom for help after she told him they can call to admit defeat, and hangs up. She should've definitely been charged.
nothing is better than waking up at 4 am seeing a notification from your channel talking about Dhar Mann😁 please don't stop making Dhars videos I live for them
Actually something no one talks about is that the reason they lost is cause they were kids and not old enough to drive and he couldn’t have thought of a way to make them in trouble because adult
9:33 and as August said, "If it works every time why are they still getting in trouble?" And they say every time as though this happens often, which shows it never even worked once.
The Dhar Mann video title reminds me a lot of this one movie I once saw called Big, and in hindsight the ending is really gross. Basically the kid becomes an adult and gets a job at a toy company or something, but he starts to have a thing with a GROWN woman [granted she doesnt know hes a child] yet after she does find that out the end of the movie has a big emotional scene of the CHILD going back to his family, and them being somewhat upset about it. Lovely message right there O-O
Given that two of the boys escaped from prison and one of them made terror threats, it's surprising that they were let go with just a ticket. Also, this is a step down from terrorism, so over six months until he actively tries to kill someone, but under six months until he thinks he accidentally killed someone, but it's just a not very elaborate scheme by the parents to teach him a non-lesson.
That has literally been the exact theme of Dhar Mann most of the year at this point. I am actually worried if Dhar Mann is even okay at all, you would have to be crazy to think this video makes sense for his channel.
The song Forever Young they were singing is from the 80's by a group called Alphaville. Not the same as the Rod Stewart Forever Young. Still odd that kids would know this sone but it has been used in a lot of movies and TV shows so not entirely out of the realm of possibility.
13:03 a consequence of the internet is that teenagers do indeed know older music. Idk why people assume that culturally influentially pop music becomes lost media as soon as a generation passes. There's even a 2010 Jay-Z single that samples Forever Young

That was genuinely an awesome impression and probably -one of my- the only favorite -quotes- quote in the entirety of Dhar Man Plague.
Actually, as children, they still have ONE option available to them: bumming $6 off someone and *taking the bus!*
At least they were punished the previous times.

If Mikey kills someone in a video, I can practically imagine the following:
Mikey (and probably Jay) get into some dumb situation wherein they come up on a weapon, likely a gun.

Jay and Mikey's moms are bad parents!

Dude, I hadn't gotten to that point in the video yet and I thought this was a joke 😭
ah, yes once you're legal you can't ever ask parents for help or have a support system. you're on your own, buddy. aside from the obvious criminal acts, this is such a horrible message to give kids. and it's supporting toxic family relationships.
Someone needs to write a dhar mann fanfic where all these kids move out at 18 and get their life togrther after realising their oarents fucked em up 😭

"It's like he lives in an alternate universe"
Hmmmm.......that's actually not a bad idea.
I mean it kind of makes sense that since Mikey can talk himself out of anything, his mom can talk anyone into doing anything.
Not even Greg would do this. He may be a jerk but he’s not that bad of a jerk.
They can complain about their children but they don’t even realize kids aren’t born disrespectful and rude.
Ty. Some kids are terrible. Blame the parents
blame the karens.
@user-uo4ro8jo4iThat’s what I’m saying. The parents are useless yet complain their kids aren’t better

Actually something no one talks about is that the reason they lost is cause they were kids and not old enough to drive and he couldn’t have thought of a way to make them in trouble because adult
August, your whole relationship with dharmann is, "I don't exactly hate you, but if you were on fire and I had water, I'd drink it."
9:33 and as August said, "If it works every time why are they still getting in trouble?" And they say every time as though this happens often, which shows it never even worked once.

The first part GOT ME
The Dhar Mann video title reminds me a lot of this one movie I once saw called Big, and in hindsight the ending is really gross.
11:50 sounds like season 3 gumball when he gets excited
commited multiple crimes/felonies and got away with only a slap on the wrist
Given that two of the boys escaped from prison and one of them made terror threats, it's surprising that they were let go with just a ticket.
Also, this is a step down from terrorism, so over six months until he actively tries to kill someone, but under six months until he thinks he accidentally killed someone, but it's just a not very elaborate scheme by the parents to teach him a non-lesson.
We're not just telling stories, we're impressioning crimes.
That has literally been the exact theme of Dhar Mann most of the year at this point. I am actually worried if Dhar Mann is even okay at all, you would have to be crazy to think this video makes sense for his channel.
8:51 “but doesn’t it always work” me thinking to myself when has any of there parenting methods worked😂
6:07 on this part i literally said “Finally she acting like a good mom” 😭🙏
We’re not just telling stories we’re ruining lives
16:18 I love how he didn’t even comment on this scene and just skipped it, it was just that bad
THE SCREAM SOUNDS LIKE "sTOP!"
@@wyzololit is😂
The following scene provided even better commentary so it wasn’t necessary
@@ironrevenger9386 if I were him, I’d skip it too
@@IrieTheGreatDhar Mann should stay FAR away from music 😭
Glad to see you never kept your promise about not going back to talking about darrman
I’m better than AugustTheDuck
underrated comment ngl.
Prove that this formula is true:
(x-2)^2=(x^2)-(x-1)*4
Eh it’s always fun to hear august say what needs to be said about dhar mann’s increasingly bad skits

“You’ve gotta fight her” had me absolutely dead
Same
13:04 the song they sing is actually by Alphaville, the one by Rod Stewart has the same name but it's different
12:55 that‘s Forever Young by Alphaville, not Rod Stewart ☝️😉
At this point, he's no longer "Mischief Mikey" he's "Felony Mikey".
Just like Dharr mann
4:30 NAHHHHHH HES NOT DEAD???????
IKR ANY NORMAL MOM WOULD SLAP THEY CHILD
Either they got body swapped from a white to African American body alla freaky Friday or he is already dead and after 4:30, he’s now a ghost
@@DinoRicky IM CACKLING THIS IS A PERFECT ANSWER I LOVE IT

The song Forever Young they were singing is from the 80's by a group called Alphaville. Not the same as the Rod Stewart Forever Young. Still odd that kids would know this sone but it has been used in a lot of movies and TV shows so not entirely out of the realm of possibility.
13:03 a consequence of the internet is that teenagers do indeed know older music. Idk why people assume that culturally influentially pop music becomes lost media as soon as a generation passes. There's even a 2010 Jay-Z single that samples Forever Young
1:34 and this is aimed at children 🤦
