Mikey went from a kid who I feel was acting out from abuse to a genuine criminal. Also the way Jayden sounds and acts so childish it’s killing me. Also the “fireworks” look like birthday candles.
How was he being abused? His mom always lets him get away with skipping school and misbehaving at school. This is the first video where he actually gets punished for his behavior 😂

@TheDuckMaster22 I think it could be more the people your brother is around the most influencing him in that case. People typically mimic those who their around the most. It doesn’t have to be a guardian or parent their mimicking either, for example, my best friend said girlipop a lot and eventually I started doing it too.
Mikey, in some older dhar mann videos, used to have a dad, and August pointed out that whenever Mikey's dad would yell and raise his hand, Mikey would flinch so maybe it's because of his dad
But seriously this video just proves my point that the mom doesn’t care about her son other than just punishing him to prove her point and basically tries to set him up to fail💀
@@nationalinstituteofcheese3012 I disagree. Even in this scenario the Mom went too far. true and it sucks because they are trying to teach a “lesson” but it isn’t being taken very seriously, like the judge scene for example, just watch Bluey, that show actually teaches kids about real life important topics and includes better life lessons
Mikey. The person who always commits crimes. Not surprised that he got caught the 10,000th time. Also, Dhar Mann, from the fact that you said that committing crimes is good is starting to worry me.
August you usually make a lot of sense. I'm pretty surprised you didn't mention how it would be extremely unrealistic for someone's mother to snitch on her son to the police so that the son gets convicted of a crime and goes to juvenile detention for 60 days, which in turn would ruin the son's chances of ever getting a good future or education especially with juvie on his record. And this was all to teach Mikey a lesson that he will never learn, which was even more dumb. Not to mention, the mother traumatized Mikey for life by pretending that she got arrested AND assisting the police in sending her son to jail. Me personally, after all this, Mikey's mother is going straight to the retirement home😂
Mikey probably wouldn't be the one to make that decision. Especially considering Jayden will probably grow up to be more financially successful than Mikey.

So Fetal Alcohol Syndrome means a person is born without the ability to understand morality? That may mean that a whole lot of us born in the 60's are morally deficient, I know my mother learned from her mother that having a couple glasses of malt liquor during pregnancy enriched breast milk. For real though, if Mikey is willing to go this far just to get out of being inconvenienced by a test, imagine what he's capable of doing when it's genuinely from a place of malice and trauma? Congrats mom, you've created and enabled a monster. Mom is definitely going to "fall down some stairs" when Mikey gets older and he somehow convinced her to take out a life insurance policy with him as sole beneficiary.
At that point, the mom would've been better off telling airport security, I know who wrote the note. It's my son Mikey. Can you give me 5 or so minutes, I'll get him to write something down for me and you can compare the handwriting

I wouldn’t say that, because it’s likely the actors speech impediment and I don’t really like making fun of an actor’s characteristics that shine through in their character
The police scene (though the context kinda ruins it) is genuinely a really good scene. I get shivers when I watch it. (The actor who played the police officer was really convincing)
Okay, but seriously. You're telling me a 13 year old isn't gonna succumb to the pressure of never seeing his mom again for up to 25 years and say that he did it himself because he had no evidence? How's that good evidence at all?

Mikey is the perfect example of Dhar Mann being unable to write actual good characters, it's like he doesn't even know what to do with him except for putting him in the most hideous situations without any depth or character development. There is no motivation for his actions, no consistancy, nothing. Just Mikey doing weird stuff and that's it...
You already know that you have miserably failed as a parent if your child goes from bullying students unreasonably and skipping tests, to criminal environments like robbing banks and doing THIS! There is no doubt that the mother didn’t know to punish Mikey for these kinds of actions from day one, because if she did raise and punish him correctly, pretty sure none of this would’ve happened. And I feel like she should have taken the hint after the allergic reaction situation when Mikey keeps on going with these shenanigans that her strategies were not going to work. The old groundings for an entire season were nothing to him, and the unrealistic setups to “teach” him lesson were not effective either if he continued on with these things. That should’ve clicked to the mother that she needed to try something else to really knock some sense into him. So yeah I agree with you August, that most of the responsibility should be relied on the mother. I am glad I am not the only one who thought that.
August’s commentary just make Dhar Mann videos more entertaining, yet bring insight into the unrealism Dhar Mann promotes in his videos for shitty life lessons.

Mikey, in some older dhar mann videos, used to have a dad, and August pointed out that whenever Mikey's dad would yell and raise his hand, Mikey would flinch so maybe it's because of his dad

As soon as I saw Jay in prison hugging Mikey, I was like "You gotta be kidding me, no only is he in juvie as well, but they both still get to hangout peacefully for the next 60 days?!"
60 days in... lol.
