See my 6-month owners review on my Lexus LC 500 here: ua-cam.com/video/Q0JxDRV0ZVA/v-deo.html Can't believe we are celebrating the 1 year anniversary with the LC already, thanks again for the support each and every one of you have shown on this channel.
Thank you so much for this video, brother! I am buying one of these asap! They are likely one of the last naturally aspirated V8's we will ever get to own. They are worth the 100K that they are. I owned 3 different LS400's and put 300K miles on each. Needless to say, I trust Lexus. And, this car will be a legend in 10-15 years! ...... I LOVE your candidness on this video. People just troll for fun. They are just idiots still living in their mom's basement. Lol You have MANY people like me watching all of your videos and appreciating what you do! Ignore those people. Also, I'm glad we BOTH made it out of Nashville! Lol I left in 2020. (After 30 years!) I'm in Panama City Beach, now. Living the Beach Life. Peace to you, bro.
I am so impressed by this guy, he is so realistic and he provided such importent information. All the things that I wanted to know was clearly discussed. Unlike some reviews that only talk about the exhaust sound, he discussed items that mature people consider before buying a car. BIG THANK YOU.
It is the composition of the brake pads. I had the brake dust problem with my IS350. Just turned the rims black in a day after washing. They just changed them to a harder compound and they are just fine for braking.
You buy an AMG GT on lease for 3 years because it's fun and it's peace of mind. You buy a LC500 for life because it's a performance car that's not going to break down the day after the warranty runs out
Great point, I thought the same, all really helpful information. Its clear hes not just following the crowd and actually sharing his own opinions, best review Ive seen on this car!!
Kevin please keep making videos, I don't think you ramble. This was an incredible video, very in depth and I would love more videos like this. I'm glad the ownership has been a great experience!
I enjoy your videos because you provide your personal insight on vehicles instead of stating the basic horsepower and torque. Haters will hate your success.
I am 68 (healthy/strong) I’ve own two 911’s, 3 Corvettes, 3 Mercedes SL’s...and FINALLY last week bought this 2021 LC 500 convertible with 31k (immaculate) for $82k. He said it perfectly: “This car is for the people who have owned those previous ones before" (well said). I absolutely love the ride of this vehicle, looks to die for and the roar of the engine, the feel on the road...and the highest quality interior I’ve ever seen tells me: “I’m keeping this car.” (good review)
I will second all of your comments. I too have had faster and rougher riding cars. The BMW M series and MB AMG series are fun but it's like apples and oranges when compared to the Lexus. I was a former Porsche/Audi master tech in my younger years and have never stopped tinkering with cars. The LC is not just a car, it's an experience. When my wife fights me for the keys, you know it's a great car.
Out of all of your reviews to date, this one by FAR is my absolute favorite! 1. Maintenance - In addition to the oil changes every 6 months or 5000 miles, I also get the tires rebalanced. My ride stays silky smooth even when the treadwear gets low and it's time to change it out. 2. What Else Would You Get - I am right there with you! Build Quality/Cost of Ownership aside, Lexus is not the most superb vehicle on the road. However...it does everything really well and that speaks to me. It's like my condo here in the heart of Midtown Atlanta. No I'm not in the penthouse, but I'm in the building. #AmazingAdjacent ;-) 3. Cachet - You are absolutely right about the 0-60 times, many are more concerned about that then anything else, which is odd to me. How is driving a super fast car fun when you can only get through 2nd gear before the po-po is after you? I want to hear my engine sing through the gears, so a 'quick' car is more ideal than a 'fast' car. Secondly, I'd argue the Lexus brand cachet is pretty high. The nickname of the Toll Lane here is the 'Lexus Lane'; not BMW, Mercedes, Porsche, Audi, etc. Keep On, Keep'n On. :-)
Haha thank you my friend and yea cars are so subjective explaining what makes one great is such a pain 😅 all people can do is try it out for themselves
Thank you for making this video and being so brutally honest about your thoughts. I totally relate to everything you said and have the same reasons for buying and keeping the LC for a long time. Its the sort of car you can pass onto your children. Thank you again!
I'm really glad you risked your financial wellbeing because you are young, once you have a family and a mortgage, you won't have the luxury of having this car. Also, very proud of how you grew your channel. We talked a couple of yrs back. Keep up the good work Kevin! Galen
Have never agreed with someone more on what defines a street car. Gotta give the car manufacturers due credit tho for working hard to make well rounded vehicles that can scratch that race car itch but still be daily-able but at the same time. Great review good sir and I hope you get decades of ownership out of that machine🤙🏽
This channel is very underrated, I loved the honesty and the explanations of how the car community has become, the sound of the lc500 v8 is unique the rev limiter is intoxicating you just wanna stay there or shift to next gear to hear it again, the interior is no f given brand exclusive, the steering is sublime , the look what a car
After I pay off my rx 350 c/ pre-owned 2016; I will get this and give it to my son 17 years from now. This is a piece of functional art. Lexus has been the only company that inspires me to push myself to the next level in life. I would think most lexus owners feel a similar inspiration. It's not about glitz and glam other vehicles have. I feel Lexus hit a cord of tying their functionality with reserved power that higher concious driverers naturally get attracted to. It brings a level of inspiration to those who can see the wisdom of its design into the owners everyday life. Thanks for your discussion and allowing this to be a forum of Lexus inspiration.
Hey Kevin, About two weeks ago, I bought a 2021 LC convertible, largely based on your video reviews. Lexus should pay you a commission. I love this car for the same reasons you do. The interior is, as you say, bespoke. The naturally aspirated V8 will, I think, make the LC a future classic. The weight of the car gives it a very solid, grounded feeling. It’s just a delight to drive, and the sound is intoxicating. Please keep up the great reviews.
Your attitude is exactly like mine when it comes to the LC500 vs. all the other 'numbers-chasing' sports cars. This is a GT, for enjoying YOURSELF in a daily driver car. Lots to like. Thanks for the candid vid.
Thank you for the update and review - I agree that 0-60 and brand loyalty consumes people. The V8 lexus gives way more power than needed lol. I like racing too which is why I went the Civic Type R but would love to have a LC next to it.
@@MeynMotorGroup And me as well. I will always say that you are one of the most authentic Lexus and car reviewers on UA-cam. Why people are so car crazy about numbers when they hardly use a third of the car's horsepower on a daily ,is beyond. They want a car that can go 0-60 in 3.5 secs or under with 500+ horsepower but can't drive above 75-80 miles everyday. Total definition of stupidity.
Just found your channel, love it subscribed. My wife and I just sold our business and I'm in a position to buy something nice. I was honestly this close to pulling the trigger on a new turbo s (275k) or the new Bentley GTC Speed (300k). I kept hearing about the LC, so I did a deep dive through UA-cam. Needless to say a month later I found an allocation near me for a 2021 convertible in infrared on caramel (113k), I can take possession in November and have happily put down the deposit. I couldn't be more thrilled and excited, saving 200k doesn't hurt either. The LC is an all-time work of art with a sound almost lost in modern times, I'm one of the lucky ones.
Massive congrats my friend. Yea I the LC is just built different from any other car it competes with, it was made to satisfy on the street where it counts. That's not to say you can't be happy with the other vehicles you mentioned but the LC's motor and interior is just intoxicating and never gets old. Enjoy
Definitely a car you can own forever. Just looks beautiful inside and out. Love the review on this car. We want to get one soon. We will see how the 2022 will be and if there are no changes we will probably get a 2021.
@@MeynMotorGroup we went to dealer yesterday. It’s quite stunning. Our kids love it. The convertible for sure is extremely tight. The extra 4” of legroom in the hardtop makes a big difference.
Great video brother! You've always been incredibly honest and to the point when it comes to these reviews. I myself have always wanted the LC so hopefully somewhere down the line I can afford one (mortgage payments first lol). Thank you for being one of the very few honest reviewers and recommending quality cars. LC is a beautiful machine and I'm glad you are enjoying every second of it! Take care and goodbye 🤙😅
This youngman is beyond his years for understanding the joy of owning a piece of art that you can actually drive in everyday life. Offers 1) Dependable 2) practically (golf clubs/luggage, etc. 3) Beyond comfort. The style, musicality, and most of all, the understated elegance. Converted Porche, BMW, Mercedes fan boy.........great content. Stay safe
Congrats to the 1 year anniversary!!! Who cares about what others say about the car... Most important you like it!!! I have no problems with the infotainment system too!!!
I recently took notice of the LC 500 after seeing a UA-cam review of one. Dude, you have said it best and I agree with everything you've laid out here. I think you're pragmatic and you keep it real. I appreciate that! I may get a pre-owned LC 500 one of these days. I think they are worth owning for the long run! Thanks for what you do.
@@MeynMotorGroup still cant believe you got rid of yours bro. You made me buy pre own one 2018 performance spec. Got a mortgage tho for the next 3 years, so worth it. No regrets, thanks to you.
@@MeynMotorGroup yeah man no problem. Keep up the good work. Just hanging with my daily these days (RC 200t). There’s a couple LC500’s in my area I might take a look into but kinda want the car market to die down a bit (aka manufacturers start producing more to lower the used car market)
Very good video, and I definitely agree that the general perception for this car is night and day depending on who you talk to. This is probably my 40th video that I've watched on the LC500 because I'm crazy in love with this car and I hope to pick up a used one in the coming year! Thanks again for the video!
I love this review for the simple fact that you're so blunt and honest. No fluff. I myself have driven soo many cars and just trying to find what fits me as an automotive enthusiast. I've driven BMW's, Subaru's, Mopar's etc and now I finally have a GT-R. At this point in my life I'm looking at what makes sense from every aspect. The GT-R has superb performance but it lacks comfort and luxury. I guess I realized how much my taste is changing because while it grabs the attention of every fanboy I honestly prefer comfort and elegance. I miss the V8 sound of the challenger but that car lacks sophistication. I feel like the LC500 is the ultimate hidden gem where performance and luxury meet at a perfect median. Like you said, people who only care about status will overlook this car but a true auto enthusiast can see how this car is a perfect balance of luxury and performance. If I end up selling my R35 it would absolutely only be for an LC500. The more I look at these the more I'm tempted to switch over.
Such a well crafted car, definitely a keeper thanks for being so clear and understandable with your points felt good to hear you explain it out loud lol. Good work bro keep it!
Finally!!! Commentary in a car review that's really honest. I agree whole heartedly with just getting what you like. If you're out for status and clout, then you're missing the point of driving any car or riding any bike. The same hold true for any customizing or modifying that you choose to do to your car, truck , or bike. Do what you like because it suits you and your own style. If other people like it that's cool, but it really doesn't matter because it's built for you not them.
So glad you still love your LC. For all the reasons you said, although I don't own the car myself, I completely get it. I also understand why you can't recommend the car because it is an emotional decision to buy a car like this untainted by brand prestige or spec. People who own the LC in any of its iterations are a special kind and I empathize completely. Here's to many more years of ownership of such a beautiful, soulful automative piece of art. 👍
I currently own a '95 LC400 with 70,000 miles. I've had it a year and love it. The 500 is my dream car if I ever feel I can afford it. (Hit the lottery?) Lol. The 500 is a street car, not a race car that's street legal, and that's the appeal for me. Loved your review and I'm sure you'll love the car well into the future.
I first saw your channel because of your Stinger video, when I first bought my Stinger your video was one of the first videos I watched. So sick to see you’re in the LC now, I love that car as well. Every time I see one on the road I can’t help but smile because I love the design.
@@MeynMotorGroup Ah thank you man! God bless you too. I also like your approach to how you view the silly car enthusiast mindsets now a days, or what some people complain about in a car. The reason you love that LC is the reason I was drawn to the Stinger. Yeah it’s a Kia, ok. But if people researched who was involved with the Stinger, from those beloved German brands they all lust over, and if they actually drove a GT1 or GT2 with a bit more tech, they’d be very impressed and probably retract their statement. I think there is a reason most of the big auto reviewers like the Stinger, because they know once they drive one how great they are. And I’d imagine the LC 500 is the same. People hear the 0-60 and hear it’s a Lexus and are like “eh yeah BUT…. Blah blah blah” I think the lc500 is a beautiful car with a very strong build quality. Yeah it’s not an LFA performer or a C8 Z51 track weapon, but it’s not supposed to be. And that’s what I think some people miss
Young man you are doing a fabulous job on this review I love lexus been driving since 1992 an will always have one in my garage I really appreciate your work young man LET'S GO LEXUS
As always spot-on comments... the LC500 is something you have to own to understand. I tell my neighbor all the time, the LC isn't that fast when compared to my Hellcat. But the HC is 🦇💩 crazy on twisty roads... lol I really believe you made an amazing choice. You're legitimately driving a Dream Car... that has to be pretty surreal
It is my friend LC was an end game car for me since I first heard of it I always knew it would be epic. Of course I wouldn't mind hooning a Hellcat around either haha
You just made me love this car even more, the fact that whatever was 0-60 time on your car you still would drive it under the speed limit (most of the time), luxury and personality of the car are what matter the most, and the LC do those 2 things very well
Thank you for sharing your ownership experience with the LC. Your writing is low-key entertaining, unintentionally humorous, direct and unique from other UA-camrs. We notice and we like it, go you.
Just letting you know that this video is what sealed the deal for me to purchase the LC500. You were 100% right on all points, and I am absolutely satisfied with my LC.
"There's a lot of rich douchebags where I live, so things just cost more money" ...had me DYING lol! I live in NC as well; Charlotte, so I can identify with that.
Great video, very helpful. I'm a faithful Lexus owner and am currently seriously considering purchasing a 2021 LC 500 in white with the sport package/carbon roof. I want the vehicle for all the reasons you mentioned in your video. It is just a fine balance of more than ample power, driving pleasure, quality, class and beauty. Thanks for the insightful info!
I absolutely adore your car review. Everything you mentioned about Lexus and the brand is so very true. I currently have a 2015 Lexus GS F sport and it is a brilliant street car. Its reliable, its nimble and quick. Furthermore, it has that emotional connection to the soul. I feel her as she briskly transports me in luxury and smoothness. Anyhow, continue to ramble. Continue to be you. I am with you when i say I grow tired of these main stream reviewers that say the same things in pursuit to capture the main audience or paid to do so. We shall never know, lol. Thank you for being honest! ❤
Great review. Full of realistic information. I can understand needing brakes at 30K if a car is driven hard, but rotors too? What about the people that buy it for comfort and style and seldom drive hard. I've had heavy cars in the past and they haven't gone through brakes at 30K. Non synthetic oil in a fine engine like this? That's crazy, even just from the fact when you turn off the engine the non synthetic begins to bake onto the internal engine parts, whereas synthetic doesn't. Non synthetic oil makes no sense to me in the time we're living in for anything other than an old junkie vehicle being driven into the ground.
Kev, good to know the LC500 has been working out well for you. I ended up getting another Lexus again thanks to your videos 03 Black Onyx GX470. I been closely watching the values of the RC-F and GS-F seems there really holding there values very well.
Such a lovely motor you have Kevin. I did not realise how expensive parts were. I know that it is an expensive car to buy but never thought 3 pieces could easily be 30k. I think your car could go up in value in years to come if you can keep it as V8 will be the dinosaurs. Some day soon, V8 will be a think of the past...
Haha yea my friend but as of right now, LC is just depreciating like any other car right now lol. Here in the states trade in values and all sorts of other normal cars have gone up in value but not the LC 😅 I was so mad
@@MeynMotorGroup I see. It will get its value back up at some point like the LFA to a degree. Well the LC is the perfect car to me and Lexus nailed it. I completely understand how you feel about why people say 911 is better but they do not understand that Lexus LC was not designed as a sports car to drive on track but a sports car on the main road. 911 will be quicker, yes but on the road, 911 car has to respect speed limit, and will still be stuck in traffic like any other car. The Lexus has definitely put a lot of thoughts to these things. If someone wants to be a Lexus racing car, then GSF, RCF, ISF,, LFA would be adequate for this type of driving. As you know, I own the GS450h and I love my car and I am coming to the end of my 3 year lease, and I can buy the balloon and own it, or I can trade my car and go with another Lexus and you will be surprised but I am thinking ES300h as a replacement. I know it won't have the same amount of power but driving in London, I get stuck in traffic like any other cars, driving on the motorway it is 70mph speed limit, so why getting a faster car? Sometimes, I am thinking deeply (Am I getting old now??). If I had looked at ES300h specs a few years ago and see that the maximum speed is 118mph, I would have thought, well it has not got a powerful engine. But, now I am getting it. Lexus built this car for the main road not to speed. So the level of comfort is very much like LS. It is quite amazing and the look of this new ES is getting into me more and more... So I might get this one before Dec this year or I might go for RX450h... Hard choice!! Would I go elsewhere than Lexus? Well I can tell you now - NO!! I am definitely want another Lexus... My car has allowed me to appreciate Lexus truly for what it is and why they are truly special. It took me 2 1/2 years to come to this conclusion... Never late than never.
You described that so well! 911 is a faster car but in the real world it will be limited to the speed limit and sitting in traffic and the LC is just better in that environment while still having more than enough sports car DNA/Capabilities for the street. The sensations are what make the LC great and make you feel alive like that motor and interior. Yea RX450h is cool but I think if you want maximum efficiency the ES 300h would be more fuel efficient with real world MPG closer to 40 mpg vs 30ish mpg in the RX450h. RX will def be more practical tho but up to you my friend!
Your review of the LC 500 is very interesting. You really gave thought in your review. I enjoyed your review a lot in terms of what you consider important to YOU.
Kevin, you are the best! Listening to your financial advisor to end the lease and to buy a house was the best financial decision of your life. The LC is an insurance policy disaster with a trunk lid that costs $10,000 to replace because it's synthetic, which is the same for the door interior structural materials.
Yea we've been hearing about this for a while some days they say they've stopped production and a couple days later they say they will be producing a TT V8 car. I'll believe it when I see it but I've heard they will try and make their own dedicated sports car platform and not use the GAL platform the LC is on since it's too heavy for what they want to do. I think it's cool if they come out with it, will make a lot of spec sheet people happy thus improving Lexus image but to me turbo cars can never sound as good as their naturally aspirated counterparts but we will see what Lexus does
@@MeynMotorGroup supposedly they’re seeing about taking the Lexus IS platform instead of the GAL platform and make a new LFA but with the 4.0L v8 twin turbo instead of the last V10
Another excellent review/update Kevin, I want one right next to my LS 500, in that color, love the lines, love the everything, Lexus just makes unbelievable cars.
@@MeynMotorGroup Yes, it really is the interior that blows me out, as good as anything on the road. My LS is an 18 and I love the no touch screen (tacked on), the original headlight design, I'm a kinda old guy, plenty fast for me, the car has a soul, the Japanese just do it right as far as I'm concerned. Keep doing what you do, the way your doing it.
Yea the 18-20 models for the LS is my favorite interior for the reasons you mentioned. You're right Japanese cars just have a lot of character. Humbled to have your support!
As a former Z guy (3 variants), I just purchased the LC500 2024 edition as my new Z. Some months ago, I had purchased a 2017 Mazda MX-5 RF and found it to be an excellent sports/luxury car blend that is very enjoyable to own and drive. I can recommend the MX-5 as the best sports car for the price point ($30-40K). I previously loved the LC500 but was annoyed by the electronics in the platform. And to my surprise, Lexus Corporate listened to the market and updated the infotainment for 2024. So the Miata is going to find a new home and the LC500 has earned a spot in the garage. The LC500 is the penultimate Lexus blend of GT/LS art/engineering and is actually priced well, with respect to the competition. I appreciate your review and agree with your comments. Stay safe and happy driving!
Great video bud....it helped with my purchase. Bought certified and couldn't be more happier with the purchase. Might run into you one day while driving.
Yup my 2018 Lexus LS 500 had squeaky breaks and it was embarrassing, so embarrassing that I sold the car just because of it, for me driving up to a nice restaurant to park Valet and as your pulling up everyone is staring at you but you don't know if its because of your nice car or the breaks, I couldn't take it anymore, beautiful tho!
About to give my son my sc430 as I move on to the LC. Love your honesty and candour. Don’t tell too many though let’s keep these cars to those that know and appreciate.
I like ur channel because you look into more than speed and prestige- if the milenials figured that shit out they wouldn't be in college debt. Go gen-z lol
Dude! Let me start off by saying I am in love with the LC. But I am waiting for the refresh-----hopefully coming out his year. With that said, I saw your suave, casual review coupled with your sub numbers and thought: Pffft (what a noob). But after watching it, I starting thinking his (your) critique of the car is right in my line of thinking. So I now just watched it a second time today because your assessment of the car is so right based on my: 1 test drive experience, and 2 my wants for a performance/luxury car as it fits into my driving style. So, to summarize; I completely agree with your evaluation of this vehicle. I appreciate you educating me on the costs of ownership (which cannot be overstated) and just yearning for the new model to be dropped so I can order mine. Thanks so much for this review. I will now subscribe and see what you have for us in the future.
You are exactly right that 99.9% of the population don't appreciate the LC500 and the Lexus performance models (RC F, GS F, IS F, IS500). This car is for the enthusiast. Lexus is doing it right.
In general people dont know themselves well enough to know what they actually want and why. I feel lucky to have a deep curiosity about myself to the point of questioning the reasons behind my thoughts beliefs and decisions. Nobody understands why I absolutely adore my Lexus ls400 and GSF but in all honestly they dont need to understand, all I know is they are my favorite cars for a lot of reasons I dont feel necessary to explain.
I have watched a ton of car reviews and huge kudos on your content. This is what we need more in our current days- honest talks! Keep up the great work you have gained a new follower...btw debating "upgrading" my integra type s for the lc500 (and putting everything else (911s..etc) aside)
Thank you my friend I'm just glad God is using me to deliver content that is valuable to you. Integra Type S is a sweet ride! Def test drive the LC and see if you like it the new ones are pretty soft riding now. Could get a $10k discount on a new LC right now depending on how long it's been at the dealership
@MeynMotorGroup definitely super happy with the ITS and wondering if is we should call an "upgrade" - thoughts?...I had the chance to test drive a 2018 LC500 and I was pretty impressed, wondering if 2024 offers a way better ride...but def top of mind is reliability, build quality and the v8 sound is just unbeatable....I am now wondering if 2024 will be officially the last lc500 year and worth it to buy new vs a 2021ish model....my lexus Dealership offered a bespoke with discount (not that much but I am glad to know now) and def with the coupe, + free lifetime base service 😊
hey kevin, i’m also named kevin haha! nice to meet you man. this is the first video i’ve seen. first off, you’re hilarious and the way you inform us is creative and informative. you are NOT rambling. believe it or not some of us enjoy the in depth review and the little details you add. this was a great video. i never sub to car channels, and now you’re the first!
Similar 1year experience with my GSF with the brake squeal and cost of maintenance. I’ll continue to take my car to the Lexus dealership - worth it for holding longterm value. Anyway, I Love the LC500! It’s more than fast enough (0-60s in 4.5sec faster than 90% of vehicles on the road), beautiful, incredible quality of interior materials, and the NA 5.0 v8 is a last of its kind.
Ooh GS F is nice such an epic car since it's a 4 door I'm glad you get to daily that. Yea these V8 cars will be sought after later so servicing at Lexus dealer is no bad thing. Enjoy the ride
I live in Las Vegas and see every high performance car driving around everyday. I was coming out of the gym the other day, walking to my car I past an LC 500 that was backed into a parking space. I completely froze at the sight! Quite possibly one of the most beautiful cars I have ever seen. I could not wait to get home to get on the internet and research this car. I am thinking, What the hell - why don't I see a ton of these sexy cars driving around Las Vegas? Well, Kevin made a great point in this video - you see - everything about Las Vegas is status, and this car is definitely more low key. I could not believe when I saw it came out in 2016. I went right to UA-cam and found Kevin's fantastic videos. Lately, my dream car has been the Porsche Taycan - but I have changed my mind. The LC 500 is now my IT car. Thanks Kevin for the great vids!!!!
Hey David thank you so much for the kind words sir! Yea the LC is pretty understated, the people who actually like and understand this car is niche. Most flock to Euro cars and thats fine to each their own. But out of all the cars I tested on street, the LC was by far my favorite. If you want to see some more excellent vids on the LC, def watch Savagegeese he too owns one and understands the brilliance of it. Thanks again for watching my videos.

How long was your lease for?

The best thing about the LC500 is that legendary Toyota reliability. No super / hyper cars can give you that level of assurance.
You and Savagegeese have put this car on my radar for the future. I believe Savagegeese also owns this car.
He does! He has a fully loaded 2020 in silver with black interior.
@@MeynMotorGroup dang, I did not know that! I truly wasn’t expecting that! Good for Savage Geese!
@@MeynMotorGroup I never have any idea what cars savagegeese owns. He probably wants to avoid bias accusations
He's got an S2000, LC500, and a 2019 Volvo XC90. He used to have an Ariel Atom which he sold for the LC. He's done videos on all of these vehicles.
@@MeynMotorGroup oh wow those are my favorite cars besides the xc90 lmao. I'll hopefully be getting a LC by next year
I am 68 (healthy/strong) I’ve own two 911’s, 3 Corvettes, 3 Mercedes SL’s...and FINALLY last week bought this 2021 LC 500 convertible with 31k (immaculate) for $82k.
I like how you're very comfortable with who you are and what you want out of life
Haha thank you my friend
How much will oil change and filters cost me?
Thank you for making this video and being so brutally honest about your thoughts. I totally relate to everything you said and have the same reasons for buying and keeping the LC for a long time. Its the sort of car you can pass onto your children. Thank you again!
I'm really glad you risked your financial wellbeing because you are young, once you have a family and a mortgage, you won't have the luxury of having this car. Also, very proud of how you grew your channel. We talked a couple of yrs back. Keep up the good work Kevin!

I remember you my friend you gave me some good info and advice before thank you! And I'm humbled to have you apart of the channel!
Thank you my friend!
For sure my friend!
Hey Kevin,
About two weeks ago, I bought a 2021 LC convertible, largely based on your video reviews.
Wow massive congrats Robert on the new purchase, I'm so glad you like it! Yea LC has never disappointed incredible street car, enjoy my friend
I want to thank you also Kevin because now I get to drive my Dad's new LC500 every time I visit! It is incredible!
That's awesome! So glad you are all enjoying the ride! Have fun
Dude is so genuine I ended up being entertained watching and hearing him speak rather than because I like the look of the car
Civic Type R is a beast! Always wanted to try one, I recently reviewed an Si and it was great. Enjoy the ride and thanks so much for stopping by!
Good points about the whole street racing arguments and bragging about numbers.
Haha thanks yea those arguments really got old for me
@@MeynMotorGroup And me as well.
@@MeynMotorGroup just get you a camry then.

Enjoy

Appreciate it my friend!
I can always count on you to keep the review 100%. Enjoy your LC and rock on bro!!

That really is a mortgage payment, but I'm glad you're enjoying it!
Haha it is
Couldn’t agree more 💯💯
So glad you still love your LC. 👍
Yea my friend it's a great street car for sure glad you understand!
Thanks for sharing your experience. Lexus all the way 👌
No problem my friend
I first saw your channel because of your Stinger video, when I first bought my Stinger your video was one of the first videos I watched. So sick to see you’re in the LC now, I love that car as well. Every time I see one on the road I can’t help but smile because I love the design.
Thanks for all your support over the year my friend! I pray you have many more blessings 👍
Blah blah blah”
I think the lc500 is a beautiful car with a very strong build quality. Yeah it’s not an LFA performer or a C8 Z51 track weapon, but it’s not supposed to be. And that’s what I think some people miss

“The way it rolls down the road with authority at 35mph or 135mph”. Excellent!
Love how real and straight up this review is

@@MeynMotorGroup Thanks Kevin, I think it is going to be the ES300h!
Your review of the LC 500 is very interesting. You really gave thought in your review. I enjoyed your review a lot in terms of what you consider important to YOU.
Do you think these LC’s would be able to last till 200,000km on mileage?
Yea with perfect maintenance
What?....you can get well over 400k
Kevin, you are the best! Listening to your financial advisor to end the lease and to buy a house was the best financial decision of your life. The LC is an insurance policy disaster with a trunk lid that costs $10,000 to replace because it's synthetic, which is the same for the door interior structural materials.
What do you think of the patent for a twin turbo V8 from Lexus? Going in the LSF, LCF, & maybe a new ISF?
Ooh nice LS 500 is a gorgeous car love the interior
@@MeynMotorGroup Yes, it really is the interior that blows me out, as good as anything on the road. My LS is an 18 and I love the no touch screen (tacked on), the original headlight design, I'm a kinda old guy, plenty fast for me, the car has a soul, the Japanese just do it right as far as I'm concerned. Keep doing what you do, the way your doing it.

Argh every time you talk about the LC 500 I move it back to the top of my most wanted cars
Haha 😄 yea I'm going to make you get one
Your so right I could care less about speed I care about how it feels from driving around town if I want a race car I'd become a race car driver

I use words like “great car” on many cars but some are not the greatest. This car is beyond greatest. Love it
You are exactly right that 99.9% of the population don't appreciate the LC500 and the Lexus performance models (RC F, GS F, IS F, IS500). This car is for the enthusiast. Lexus is doing it right.
This lc500 and LFA are the most gorgeous vehicle lexus ever made!
So glad you did this followup. I absolutely love mine.
Thank you for your very honest review of the LC 500. I appreciate your approach to explaining your experience with the vehicle.
Thank you my friend
In general people dont know themselves well enough to know what they actually want and why. I feel lucky to have a deep curiosity about myself to the point of questioning the reasons behind my thoughts beliefs and decisions. Nobody understands why I absolutely adore my Lexus ls400 and GSF but in all honestly they dont need to understand, all I know is they are my favorite cars for a lot of reasons I dont feel necessary to explain.
Kevin... your a smart man. Im glad your keeping it lock term cant wait to see you make more update videos for over 3 years!
Humbled by that my friend thanks again for your support!
I’m humbled to have your support Kevin thanks so much
Similar 1year experience with my GSF with the brake squeal and cost of maintenance.
Kevin you’re hilarious in a good way, keep up the good work and like your straight talk
😅 Thank you my friend
@@MeynMotorGroup thanks Kevin - you are the real deal. I watch lots of car review vids and really enjoy yours
