Cello Cello - A Couple Cellos (Inspired by Jiggle Jiggle)

Cello Cello was inspired by Duke & Jones and Louis Theroux's Jiggle Jiggle (hilariously amazing viral rap song) One day after listening to it in the car, Erica and I started coming up with alternate lyrics about playing cello (because that's what cello dorks do!) When we got home, I feverishly wrote them down and came up with more alternate lyrics. We spent the rest of that afternoon, recording cello parts and our new rap to the backing track of the original. We came up with some groovy cello harmonies that we overdubbed in the background. The bass line from the track is also played by Daniel on the cello in the recording. I tried my best to stay with our recording for the video, but believe it or not, this was my first time attempting to rap while playing my cello and that takes some practice! Hope you enjoyed this one and who knows, maybe some more cello raps will take shape down the road!
