    Hello IVO . . .
    Wishing you lots of luck adding your new roe bag product to your list of fishing merchandise items,
    OMG . . . that Steelhead realy gave some excitement in this video even hearing the sound of the line being
    zipping off the reel, that alone must of made you have goose bumps I bet because it sure would made me
    feel that way, what a huge Steelhead - wish you could of tool a quick weight and length before setting it
    back in the water unless you might of thought to let it go right away, very good video - keep'em coming .

      oh...sorry...wrong video.....in this video, I was bottom bouncing and the key is the sinker weight - not too heavy to get hung up, but heavy enough to hit bottom - then, when you feel bottom =, just lift your rod tip up slightly, to keep your sinker moving along :)

    • @kevindifranco3494
      @kevindifranco3494 3 роки тому

      @@thundermistlures - that would be very helpful ..how much do your stingeyes run? I would like to lose less than $15 a trip. I once hooked something with a crank using a 7' Ugly stick with 3olb braid. I had the rod bent over and tried to pull it up to see it. The line broke. Any idea what it coulda been? I pulled a snapping turtle the size of a garbage can lid and an 10' tree in with that.

    • @thundermistlures
      @thundermistlures  3 роки тому

      The short line is the traditional method and is best used when there is less risk of snagging - with high risk of snags, I like to use a lone line to my sinker :)

    Hi Ivo, any tips for casting the Stingeye spinner at the Whirlpool for Salmon? I can cast it a country mile, but should I begin my retrieve immediately or allow it to sink for a while. Should I cast up current, or down? Thanks for all your quality content!

    • @thundermistlures
      @thundermistlures  3 роки тому +1

      let is sink close to bottom, and then start your retrieve - best to cast straight out and retrieve 90 degrees to the current or against the current...try to avoid retrieving with the current - good luck out there and thanks for the great feedback :)

    • @jasonrekker4328
      @jasonrekker4328 8 місяців тому

      @@thundermistluresI actually do both. You can hit different pockets of water and different depths by casting up current and bring the lure down with the current. Just retrieve enough to get the blade spinning. Sometimes that’s the best way to get the lure down another foot or two into the strike zone, or get it through a drift right past a rock or eddy where fish are sitting. Swinging the lure out and downstream works too, I’m just saying do both as you cover a lot more water very quickly that way
