No BS no criticism this is a good vid, I particularly appreciate the info about the winter fish hanging tight to the bottom and having the weight directly connect to the clasp without a line connection so you increase your takes. Granted you may lose your whole rig instead of the weight but we all showed up to catch not watch!
Fishing With Dom! Ya Im the same way I started with a three way swivel and did quite well when I friend showed me the slider swivel after a day fishing with that I was sold made that much more of a difference!! Let me know what you think when you try. Good luck bud !!!
I employ a similar set up with a tiny safety pin.. also allows me to hook up those heavier weights you mentioned.. for me, I tend to snag more weeds n vegetation with the snap rings.. the safety pin offers smoother streamlined radius which glides through... such here in Michigan on the Huron...
Nice video. Thank you. I believe you didn't mention a floater so I think you don't use one for bottom bouncing. Any suggestions on how to cast for fast current rivers?
I will have floating mechanisms within the bait a lot of the time. If I want it to sit a lot higher, I run a dropper line from the weight to the 3 way. When you ask about fishing a fast river, how fast do you mean? Maybe let me know what section of what river so I can better answer the question.
@@ForesightFishing Thank you . I fish in the credit river in Mississauga Ontario. Specially this time in the year there is lots of rain raising water levels and current speed too. I thought using a floater may have trouble trying to get the bait deep in the pool. Deep areas may go to maybe 7 to 10ft I ball park.
You should check out thunder mist lures t-turn swivel there way better than those 3 ways there super super strong but there a bit expensive but holy do you they ever last long as long as you don’t break your mainline

Andrew Webster hey thank you for your kind words!
I use a slider swivel instead of a three way swivel.....I find you have more of a direct feel to the hook and feel the bites better...
I'm open to trying anything. I'll give it a whirl!

Would you just put a barrel swivel above your leader swivel? @mtlsportscards
Thanks bro!
Thank you sir. Looks like a nice little rig. Going to try it out this morning on some rainbow :)
Scott Hill let her rip, tater chip!
Fishing With Dom! No luck today but I feel maybe it's just a bit too early. Gonna try it again next weekend!
Great video, thanks for the info!
Thank you, especially for your service!
Thanks for the info, I will give it a try.

Oh, you fish the huron? I've fished Huroc Park before. Curious about it!

Worm harness

No need for the 3 way...can do the same thing with just one single snap swivel.
