Hi I'm Jay and had open surgery for a hernia repair 2 years ago and been in back braces and hernia belts that has restricted me and discs have moved out of place with horrible sciatica pain down my leg. I just did the whole video and my sciatic pain is relieved and I felt my spine start to go back into place already. Thank you!!!!! I subscribed and hit the bell. 😁

I've been doing this routine for almost 2 years and its helped so much. Herniated disk L4 in 2015. Can't afford insurance, and found this video in Jan 2020. Back then, my biggest struggle was the car. Still is honestly. Before I found this video, I had to drive to take my daughter to school (30 mins), to work (30 mins), and vice-versa after work. When I got home in the evening, I had to lay in bed for an hour to relieve the pain. Often we had to stop 2-3 times on the way home so I could get out of the car and relieve my back. I've been at this Yoga exercise for 22 months, and I'm not changing anytime soon. There's many types of back pain and for mine, I'm lucky to have found this tutorial. I still can't travel on my own, but I can drive 30 minutes without extreme pain. Believe me, that means the world. I can go to the beach, the grocery store, the mall, anywhere nearby and not be miserable anymore. I'm 37 years old, male, 145 lbs, btw. THANK YOU LINDSEY!
I have been doing this yoga routine for at least 3 years. When I hurt this is what gets me back to feeling good when chiropractic and massage therapy are no longer working. This is most joint pain friendly as well. I have bad wrists and knees and this is the only one I've found that is ACTUALLY easy on them.
Months of research and I finally found a video showing everything I learned compressed into 20 minutes. I had severe sciatica, this routine is amazing.

Utsav Nikte I lift but I refuse to do any squats or deadlifts.
Be careful guys, make a long pause if your back hurts. Otherwise it will never cure properly. I know its "impossible" I have experienced the same - the total despair when you can´t go to the gym, after few weeks you see your muscles reseding, shrinking and you are crazy about coming back. With the benefit of hindsight I would do only one thing differently about working out - I would ecercise MUCH LESS and have my muscles had enough time to rest and grow. It is much more important than any protein you can get.

This was a really gentle series of poses, and my back feels gently stretched and loosened, but not painful or over worked. I'll definitely come back to this video!!! 💕

I had extreme lower back pain for about 2 wks. due to lifting a heavy kettlebell improperly. I've been trying a little bit of everything with no success, until I found Lindsay's video on Amazon Prime and then this one. I can honestly say after doing this morning and night for three days straight, I experienced significant relief in my lower back... so much so that I have been able to resume 30 min low-impact workouts. My biggest fear was laying flat, arch your back up, elbows down. Herniated L4 disk here, and was terrified a 'pop' would hapen that would lay me out for another month. My experience, every stretch and pose...went really okay. Over time, better. This helped more than anything I've tried to date and I've tried a lot.
Really good. I lengthen the time on some sections, like the first stretch, making it about 40 minutes.

The exercises slightly reduced the pain in the left knee.
The exercises allowed me to begin to believe that daily study and perseverance would significantly

hey! So a while back I was squatting and I think my form was incorrect. My back pain was so bad that I had to get steroid injections. However, the pain came back and my doctor told me to do some stretches but they have not been helping. Is this video worth the try, has your back pain came back?
This was amazing. I’ve been suffering from extreme lower back pain, and just completed this video. It doesn’t alleviate all of the pain right away, however, I felt a great release in pressure around my lower back and hip area after just one session. I’m going to start incorporating this into my morning and night time rituals. Thank you so much for this!

Lindsey Samper is hands down my go to video for lower back pain. I deal with sciatica and lower back pain, I am 70 and she is so very skillful in the word choices to ensure the stretches work and relieve lower back issues. I wish she had some recent ones. Thank you
This routine is wonderful! I noticed some negative comments about it being too fast but you can download the video and then play it back at a slower rate of your choosing. This routine has helped me recover from back pain on numerous occasions and I really thank you for that.

It's 11:43 on a Tuesday night. I just did your whole session for the first time. I had terrible si pain to the point where I couldn't sleep! This took all my pain away! Wow! Much better than the pain killers I've been taking! I couldn't be more thankful! Thanks for the great video!

Thank you Lindsay for putting your video up on you tube. I've spent a fortune trying to ease my lower back pain. Eventually I was diagnosed with chronic pain, I didn't know why so then I decided it must be psychological or something!! I was stretching incorrectly and as I have a squished l4/l5 disc and a bulging other one and a bulging central disc I think I was damaging it even more. Oh dear. Yoga it is then. I am going to find a place that does it tomorrow.

A Great, compact and to-the-point video. Excellent. Has met all the objectives listed in the title. Clear illustration and narration with no time wasted. I had a very bad lower back pain that then affected my ability to walk, my right leg started to hurt every time I was sitted. I never got to finish my treatment due to the cost of it. And I was only 20 when it started.
Please, take care of your backs, have balanced diet and never spend too much time sitting on the chair.

I've done this video for the first time last July and come back to it any time I feel tenderness in my hips and lower back. This video has gotten me pain free, and into a regular yoga routine. Ever since I started working from home a few weeks ago, my flareups increased, and I started doing this every other day. It works absolute wonders for me. Sometimes I do the video at normal speed, sometimes I got to take it slower and gentler with 0.75. Thank you so much for the video and all the comments!

Thank you for making this video. I'm dude and was always on the side of yoga is for chicks. Welllll as I have gotten older and I have kids, working out less, gaining weight since I work all the time or out with the kids. My back is not happy about it, so a buddy said try yoga. The exercise beginning at 3:45 was only done on one side in the video. I'm guessing this ought to be done as a reflection with other leg crossed so as to maintain similar back composition and flexibility equally.
I'm guessing that was accidentally not repeated, as all the other one-side moves are. I always pause the video right after that one and repeat on the other side, then resume.
