  • When peaches are in season, I like to make and can this salsa. It's a great way to savor the peach season all winter long. Because you just add the ingredients to a pot and simmer for 30 minutes, it's easy to make. Add the fresh herb - cilantro or parsley, stir, and then can it. The other ingredients include: diced red pepper, red onion, serrano peppers, apple cider vinegar, fresh lime juice, kosher salt, sugar and crushed red chili flakes. This salsa is delicious with nacho chips or as a side for fish, pork or chicken.     great tip - buying them ahead of time so the peach can rippen a bit
