Its cool to have 2 ppl who understand youtube on the jobsite and that understand content
Yet another excellent video. Great to see Mike helping you out. Good friends are hard to come by. Most say " let me know if you need any help" very few will just show up. He knew. Keep up the great content.
💪
I have a feeling im moving to derby.. Do they let people in with no youtube channel?
It takes a confident man to tackle projects like this solo, i am older in years but definitely inspired by your tenacity. Kudos to DP for stepping in at the right time, i honesty believe that dropping by to ask a question was a way to ease in and help.
Great to see you and DP getting it done to save the building. I was hoping someone was going to be there to help and your friend didn’t disappoint.
3 things to say. 1. I think it’s awesome that you have a friend like Mike (DP) nearby and he helps as much as he does! A great blessing to have friends like that! 2. I think you are somewhat of a genius when it comes to having and using common sense! Sure goes a long way! 3. (Last on the list but certainly not the least!) I think it’s great how you give “the Admiral” the credit! A strong indicator that you have a blessed marriage. Cherish every moment of it, my friend!… I really enjoy watching your videos! Learn a lot.
Thanks Mike and Mike - nice to get really close to the action without getting wet, cold, dirty, tired, bruised 😊
Thank you Captain for saving this Ole building and Thank You DP for helping a friend out. Just another reason why DP is the best in the business.
If one could only have one friend, let it be “Dirt Perfect”.
There is nothing like urgency and a budget constraints to stimulate ingenuity. You nailed it .
You're making great progress. It was good to see Mike helping out. It's good to have friends who will go the extra mile to help.
BIG shout out to Mike - DP....for lending a helping hand! Thumbs up! Stay safe. Jim
Great work Mike and full credit to DP for stepping up ;) Cheers Ray (UK)
💪
Hey Cap!! The triple 5 concrete bucket worked better than I thought!! Big shout out to DP for helping you out.
Mike, your energy and enthusiasm makes this project fun to watch. It looked like you had a huge project in the beginning but you took one step at a time and soon had the concrete was poured and everything looks good. It was nice of Mike to pitch in and help you on this job. Big blessings to you as you move ahead to completion. Keep smiling.
Good friends are hard to come by! DP always seems to know when his friends need him. Great vid Mike! Your inventiveness is something special to watch
Mike, you never cease to amaze me. I would never have scheduled concrete on a day where I had so much prep work to do before the concrete arrived. Even more impressive considering you were doing it alone and videoing it at the same time. Hope your channel continues to grow while your new world headquarters is built. Looking forward to seeing your subscriber count triple by years end. You deserve it. I'll put in a good word for Mike (the other one) on his channel.
One of the things I miss about living in a small town, is your neighbors and friends will pitch in. Small towns work because everyone knows you rely on each other. Very different from cities. Thanks for sharing.
Captain Kleeman you just amaze me when a project needs to be done. Just push them sleeves up and get to work. 😊😊😊
Although more grunt work was required, it was nice to see concrete "placed" instead of "poured".
Thanks @DIRTPERFECT FOR THE ASSIST ! The building will survive another 20 years or more !
Hope so!
Nice to see Mr Dirt Perfect in your video Captain Kleeman
Thanks for sharing your thoughts, ideas and videos. Your creativity at solving problems seems endless. Special thanks to DP for helping out. Wishing you and your family the best.
DP to the rescue, He was Great!!
When I saw that you had an extra set of hands and I saw his back side. I knew it was DP!!!! AWESOME! Great job, Captain! Your insight is coming together. I can hardly wait to see the next video! Thank you, DP, for helping a friend. Captain, thank you for sharing! 👍
When in my life 30 years ago ,I would love this type of challenge, as a former GC
Cap you're kicking butt on the world headquarters there sir. Lots of work done already.
🇺🇲👍
💪
1000 atta boys go out to Mike for jumping in to help with that pour! And to the driver as well.
Two for the price of one, bargain. Captain Kleeman and Dirt Perfect in one video. Love you can’t do attitude and determination to get the job done with the tools at your disposal. Keep up the good work and stay safe out there. 😎🇬🇧
Have a friend that shows up unexpectedly and stays and helps is such an asset. DP is a great friend. Another good video brother, stay frosty.
You made great progress on the supports Mike! DP showing up when he did was a blessing!! As always thank you for bringing us along on your journey!!!
It was a very good one Vid .Yes thank Dirt perfect for helping Captain Cleeman .
Great job. It’s always nice when people show up at the right time and help out Can’t wait to see you save this old building
👍Looks great and thanks to DP for taking us where no internet has gone before!
Huge. Big thanks to Mike for diving in, no questions asked. That was a big day, phew. Thanks!
when you never expect to get help it shows up at the right time Thanks DP for helping him get the job done great job by all
Love seeing neighbor helping neighbor. And kudos for saving a piece of history.
I see you moved that boat! Good call!!!
I am AMAZED at how much you got done by YOURSELF, but what a GREAT FRIEND Mike, with Dirt Perfect, was by staying and helping you when he saw you were in need.
Yes, I am sure you COULD have done it yourself, but having been in that situation myself, I would have LOVED to have Dirt Perfect show up!!!
I watch but never comment. This is the exception. That is an incredible amount of work for one person. In the past when I have poured concrete I get it formed up, taking my time and making sure everything is correct. On pour day I get everyone, friends, co-workers, guys who just want free beer and a meal and anyone else who wants to help. More hands make light work. My hat's off to you.
For flat work sure, vertical work is way easier. Less effort to place. Only the top to finish. We used to do 30-60 yard pours with 3 guys on the regular....flat work got subbed out 🤣
Thanks "Dirt Perfect" for helping the Captain! Love the new "Abandoned Farmstead" the cleanup looks great!
Great Job Mike, that was great that D.P showed up to help you out. It was looking like you really needed the extra hands. Keep up the great video's Captain.
"Admiral" sounds like a keeper.
When you started actually pouring my first thought was, I hope he’s got help, cause he’s gonna freaking need it! Then, I’m like no, he’s got this covered!!
Then I see you got help and I’m like wait a second that’s DP! I’m glad he showed up to help you because you really needed it.
Way to go DP!! friends like you are few and far between!
In lieu of any questions or other comments, I will pay you (and Mike) the ultimate compliment. Apparently you are a great guy, enough that you have a freind like Mike who just popped in and gave you a hand at a time when it made a difference. Yeah, you could a done it alone but as you said, it woulda taken longer for you (and your cement guy).
Hero points all over the place for Mike at DP…not only did he pitch in to help but gave us some excellent video that likely would not have happened. Yes, you could have done it 💪 but having the extra hands made it much more likely.
Thx to you both…Boom Baby!! 👊
Mike great progress that old 555 has paid for itself mate a great old machine proves these old girls still have life and use in them ,and what a good bloke DP is small town community is the best
Cheers Kym
Adelaide
Awesome of DP to help out. Great to see you guys working together again.
You are one gutsy guy doing this on your own, it's also good to have friends like Mike to help you out.👍👍🇬🇧
the little ford isn't a terrible bulldozer. kind of impressive how it pushes for what it is.
Glad Dirt Perfect showed up to help. And l loved how you rigged up the 555 to pour the concrete. 💪
Nice that, guy (DP) showing up, and offering to help…, he didn’t know just what he was offering…, hahaha. I know “DP” well enough, he was gonna be there no matter what…, and that sir, is a friend indeed.
Great video,
Thank you sir.
DP is just trying to learn new ways to do things. You are a great innovator.
I keep telling these guys on UA-cam that pumps cost about $1k to $1500 in indiana, but they dont believe me. Thanks for clarifying
Mike your mind works in mysterious ways, your ideas on the fly are always some interesting ones.great video as always, just continue on with your quest to build the Captain Kleeman empire.👍👍👍😎😎😎
Always enjoy your Vids. The old Ford tractor was built to take a licking and keep on ticking. I grew up in a Ford Tractor Dealership and they were the best of the best tractors. Keep up the great content and we'll be looking forward to the next episode.
Way to go Capt!
A friend in need is a friend indeed. Mike, alias Dirt Perfect, is never afraid of hard work and his hand (the one without a camera attached to it) is just what was needed to see get this pour completed, thanks for jumping in, Mike.
Great job Cap! DP must be a great friend to have. The spot is real. 😂 Thanks for sharing!
VERY VERY impressive Captain. Dirt Perfect is the best at working with one hand and filming with the other.
Love all your energy!! Keep rockin it!
Great video Mike. Awesome to see Dirt Perfect lend a hand. Small town people at their best! 👍
👍 The Admiral wanted her dues on that jacket son, don't be messin' with the Admiral ! Hell of a pour, man. Yep DP's a good dude.
Pouring concrete is never a fun job. It's just hard work. Great job and great video. Glad Mike could give you a hand. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for DP coming to help.
really cool how DP jumped in there and helped
Absolutely
Watching you and DP work together makes me miss my old construction buddies.
SHOUT OUT to MIKE!!!!!! Thank you for helping out the Captain. Excellent job on getting those completed. I think I heard a big sigh of relief.
Awesome guest appearance by Mike 🎉🎉❤🎉🎉
Hey, you had the Perfect helper! Great teamwork guys!
Great to see the progress, and great to see Mike and the concrete truck driver lend a helping hand.
You really should run a hot pink masons line from end to end, showing just how much you can raise the roof…..maybe one at the peak, and two midway, where you are jacking. Absolute proof of amount that you can move an old structure without harm. And Mike neglected the poor old building, it’s Karma he came by….. and the friend that he is, and the work that you have done for him- what goes around comes around! You are both great people who have a lot in common! After you were “blessed “ with the 555 I spent what some would think too much on a Case 580 which spent its life being rode hard and put away wet. When I add about what you have invested in yours, it still will be short on power, but won’t continue to have me constantly pouring hyd fluid into it. Winter project between snow removal I’m saying 😂. Great stuff Mike!😊!
Great video! Good progress!! Shout out to DP for giving a hand
Bulls eye Capt. Nice strong job using what you had plus the bonus help.
Nice of Mike to show up and help :)
Absolutely
You should have DP drop us more often. We get a great video and free sky diving...can't beat it. Love the channel, keep up the good work.
You are blessed with the Derby community spirit.
You guys are always ready to jump in. It's what friends do. Glad it went well. Ready for another part of the build for sure.
Awesome video. Great that Dirt Perfect showed up to help. We all know you could have done it yourself, but I breathed easier when you had assistance. Keep it up-Know you will.
Glad to see Mike came to help , I have had the same situation and jut placed as many 5 gal buckets in loader bucket , filled the 5 gal buckets w/concrete , One man in bucket and he pour the crete in the forms
Big thanks to DP. Getting the shot. Camera in one hand, holding ladder, and raking concrete. Oh by the way, great job captain.
8:04 -8:40 THANK YOU 😊 i didnt think those pointed slivers would cut it lol. 😅
My father drove concrete truck for over 30 years. There were a lot of projects done around the house and yard with concrete. He would bring concrete home after work a lot of days in 45 gallon drums cut in half on the back of his 1 ton chev. Patios, garage grade beams, fence retaining walls. Lol
Nice assist by DP and great Cap'n. 😅😅
Nice pouring job Mike. At least you had the pleasure of having an enclosed, climate controlled cab on the 555 during those cold mornings.
🤣
Bonus DP footage, excellent!
simply....well done young man , you remind me of my time back in the 1970,s building my first property. again well done
Thanks!
Oh Captain, with this Work have You a great Task to take This old and partial collape Hall to repair, okay whst You hitherto make is good, but to all repair, go a long Time in this Year. Greeting from Austria 🇦🇹 💪👍

Awesome video Captain! Glad it's done. Shout out to DP!
Looking good #CaptainKleeman and man that's cool of #DirtPerfect to lend a hand. That's not good friends, that's family folk right there 🙌✝️🙌
This video made me tired. Not as tired as you were at the end of concrete day, but it reminded me of previous concrete days and I was thinking about all that work. You know what is exhilarating? That sense of accomplishment at the end of the day of a job well done. Thanks!
Hi Captain, out of all the UA-cam channels I watch yours is the only channel I don't put on fast speed.(don't tell Dirt Perfect)Your content is amazing ,I never know what your next video is going to contain, you are amazing at surprising me at what you can do alone. Having said that a shout out to Mike for helping on this one whether he planned it or not.
Looking forward to how this project goes as it is always interesting to see how you deal with the problems.
So glad DP happened by at the right time to give you a hand, even if he was cursing his timing! LOL
I love the name "World Headquarters".
Thanks
It took me a little bit to figure out who was helping you, and then I saw it was Mike very cool he came by to help. Keep up the good work young man.
Watching you do this is like a new kid in a candy store. I can't wait for your next video
💪
Looking awesome Captain. As far as your starting problems get a heat gun and blow hot air into the intake. I had to do that with my old tractor after the glow plugs stopped working. Made a world of difference.
Gotta love the cameo from the original Derby UA-camr Logger Wade’s neighbor.
Great video going to be nice building when you get it done big thanks to DP for showing up
WOW that was a ton of work. Glad to see Dirt Perfect and the driver lend a hand. Started watching Tacoma FD on Netflix and keep thinking the show represents Captains day job.
MIKE, that was awesome! Ida been saying "what am I doing!' Pouring concrete by myself! .... elevated!... on a time schedule! "
That was a daunting task, ballsy work Mike!!
I would end with
Carry on Capt'n but...
after this one I'll say,
Take a break Capt'n !!
Thats awesome dirt perfect just jumped in. Everybody in the world that is pouring concrete for themselves calls friend labor in, you just lucked out and had a beast show up at the rigjt time.
Vertical Crete is easy. If it was flat work I always have friends come in. Flat work is a one man job. Nice to have an extra set of hands to keep me in the backhoe though
@CaptainKleeman fair enough, but theres always that chance of a form shifting, blowout etc, and that set of hands ready to go is priceless. As much as I've watched you I don't think you are the asker of help unless it's 100% necessary. Much respect.
