I thought you guys stopped doing videos. Today I found out, that UA-cam unsubscribed me for whatever reason. Glad this channel is still up and running!❤
Skyline Traverse in Boulder could be a nice workout if you've never done it. Five different peaks, 30 miles out and back, 10k elevation. Expect crowds, though.
Danny ! When you comeback to Europe you need to do the GR 20 in Corsica ! 180km with 12,000m of vert. Normal people do it in 10 to 15 days but I'm sure you can do it in 5 :)
Stevens Gulch is such a beautiful area to be this time of year. I was out there a couple weeks ago just as a hiker, and both the road and snow conditions look MUCH improved from then. Cars, even 4x4 jeeps and the like, get stuck and have to get towed out (for a hefty fee) all the time in May and June, so glad you were able to get to a spot safely.
When the snow is plentiful, the jeep road on the approach to Torrey's and Gray's can be great fun coming back down, as it has some rather steep sides and can be like a half-pipe. We used to go up there just to do that over and over again. Grizzly Gulch, the right hand choice down below, takes one up under Torrey's on the north side, and that little basin has unlimited tele possibilities.
I made the drive up to the trailhead for Gray's and Torrey's peaks in my little Subaru and it was the worst road I've ever been on. So many big sharp rocks all over and it was extra nerve racking doing it in the dark. Congrats on 100k. Been a subscriber for years.
Skiied this one many times! Great route. Hit all 58 Colorado 14ers and skiied 22 of them. Miss Colorado already just moved to the Bay but will be back because I miss being able to do this on any day of the week.
Tip of the cap to your solo footage skills man... it's impressive the shots you put together! Especially knowing the work that goes into each. Keep up the great work! 100K subs well deserved!
G&T’s were my first 14’s to run in the 70’s…hoping to run them again this summer with my 16 year old daughter… you should come spring ski the San Juans we have a lot less wind effected snows down here!
Excellent. Perhaps you’re familiar with a community called Georgetown Colorado, just down the road? Lived there for 6 years. Greys and Torreys should be summited together. So glad you made this Video. Been jonesing for a Mediocre video. Nicely done.
Nice skiing a classic! You typically need an early start to climb up Dead Dogs couloir from the frequent rock fall & shedding. I almost saw a group get taken out by a microwave size rock while climbing up DD when I was skinning up the summer route to board Emperor last year.
Agreed! Many have had their day ruined by wet snow avys and rock falls on Grays and Torreys. Rule of thumb for CO 14ers this time of year is to see the sun coming up from the summit or close to it. And o course, carry a beacon even when solo so S&R can recover your body if you have a bad day, BTW, nice turns!
drove to that trailhead in july in a corolla, several years ago...passed several 4x4's on the way up. It was probably not my best move, but, it worked...the shadows on the way down the next day made it very difficult to read the terrain!
As always love the videos!! Emperor's is a very fun ski line! Climbed and skied it two springs ago, I've climbed Dead Dog, but yet to ski it! Which drone do you use for this flips, the DJI mini? or a full size Mavic Air?
Wow plugging the Strava? Danny hit 100K and now he smells blood in the water. When's the TikTok reels? The Instagram meetups? We're not stopping till The Tonight Show.
Nice conditions! "14-ers send a tingle down my leg" Lol, no- that's just the vert talking! You could have called Matt's Off Road Recovery for that Tacoma and done a combined YT edit...
I miss the rest of the Amateurs. Love your stuff, but always enjoy how you guys interact.
Congratulations on 100k. This and the Col Collective are all I need.
The level of work that must go into getting all these shots is unbelievable.
Danny's attention to detail with the editing and production is superb. Good stuff.
Been watching for more than a couple years that opening music is a pure staple!
This channel is so underrated love your stuff you've gotten me into climbing and mountaineering.
congrats on 100k! Always one of my favorite channels.
wow... 20 minutes from the house here in Colorado! Always weird to see the home mountains on youtube.
Same here
Nice! a well deserved 100k. Good choice on the Hagan 89s and hybrid skins too!
Yes! Awesome to see you here Sage. You and MA should do a collab.
You guys helped motivate me to get back outside a few years ago. Recently crossed 500k vert in the last 12 months! Keep on trucking 👊

Great to see you reach 100k!!!
Incredible snow year this year. That east Face isn't even usually skiable. Emperor (aka wish bone aka Tuning Fork) isn't even always In. Great work!
I love everything about this channel!💓🙏👍🔔
Congratulations on the 100K🔥
As a german with max. 10000ft mountains here seeing you casually clipping away 14000er is inspiring. Great work!

Keep using the classic MA soundtrack, love it Danny! BTW that is not Big Bird it is Ortovox Bratwurst Mustard Yellow. Euro Uniform in the Alps.

Big fan for many years. Thanks for the great videos youre the best by far!

Amazing cinematography and story telling. Thank you!
I love that line, I’ve skied it twice so far this season!
Congrats on 100k. Fantastic accomplishment.

Tip of the cap to your solo footage skills man... it's impressive the shots you put together! Especially knowing the work that goes into each. Keep up the great work!
100K subs well deserved!
Sickness, stoked to have your videos back! Classic route. If Danny lived out here I think he would have done Kelso ridge 10x by now haha

Great drone videos!
I would recommend cross couloir, one of the 50 classics!
Congrats on 100k. Remember the days when you only had 4k.

Perhaps you’re familiar with a community called Georgetown Colorado, just down the road?
Lived there for 6 years.
Greys and Torreys should be summited together.
So glad you made this Video.
Been jonesing for a Mediocre video.
Nicely done.
if skis are on I think multiple routes on T is the play or N face of Edwards, far more fun than anything on Gray's.
As always such an enjoyable video!
Danny out here grindin' even if he has to do it solo. Respect
Denvers favorite foeteena!! surprised there wasn't more moguls for you short ski man.

We went out our way
When November came,

Congrats on 100K subs. Well deserved
As always love the videos!! Emperor's is a very fun ski line! Climbed and skied it two springs ago, I've climbed Dead Dog, but yet to ski it! Which drone do you use for this flips, the DJI mini? or a full size Mavic Air?
Nice, I ski torreys 3-4x a season. Emperor is by far the best 3300’ TTB. Caught it in 11” of well adhering powder 21 April 2024.
Quote of the day..."I'm dressed like Big Bird today." 😄
This channel should be at 1M, not just 100k...wtf
Awesome!
Such fun !
when did you hit this? going up Kelso this weekend
Great line. Looking like the man in the yellow hat
100k! Woohoo! You deserve it…
Will there be any alpine climbing this summer?
100k subs nice job!!!!
100k subs great job!
How’s you get those drone ski shots on a solo mission?
I would also like to know this! Mediocre gear episode?
The DJI drones have a follow mode.
Congrats on 100K Vascular D
How do you like the BD Cirque 22?
Wow plugging the Strava? Danny hit 100K and now he smells blood in the water. When's the TikTok reels? The Instagram meetups? We're not stopping till The Tonight Show.
Citadel/ Snoopy's (Dry Gulch) should be good if you're looking for another Front Range adventure and enjoy miles of flat skinning/walking 😅
Congratulations 100k
@mediocreamateur what was the date you did this?
Skis both chutes in tour boots without pole plants so we can enjoy the footage, thanks for your sacrifice!
🎉🎉🎉 100K!
Stevens gulch proving to prey on the inexperienced every season.
scarpa f1 xt? on 90? feedback please!
steep! nice content
wow super
More Colorado!
Would love to hear the scoop on that Tacoma. HTF would one do that in the parking area? Slip outta gear?!?!
The road continues to the left of where its stuck, but there's a big pile of snow in the way. The truck probably tried to drive around.
Looks like I missed you out there! Just skied Tuning Fork last Friday
Much more Mediocre video from yours truly coming out soon
Nice conditions!
"14-ers send a tingle down my leg" Lol, no- that's just the vert talking!
You could have called Matt's Off Road Recovery for that Tacoma and done a combined YT edit...
What helmet are you rocking?
Dude!! Why didnt you do the triple crown? You couldve down skied all 3 couloirs on Torrey's Peak in one day if you've finished emperor by 8.
100k!!!Finally
Yay! “Honey?! Bring me a cup of coffee!” (Edit: New grooves, as well!)
