The screws are T20 torx. Not "one of these"

"... all very easily accessible," says the slim, agile, young guy. Take mindful care of your joints starting now; if that's a new thought for you, you might just be thankful that bit of advice by the time you turn sixty!

So I watched a few videos. And finally fixed my issue of having passenger side hot all the time. Disconnect power to van at battery. I pulled the furthest actuator. Looked at it and it was good, gears we're good. hook power to it and turn gear to the arrow on outside of actuator. Move the hot cold blend door with your hand to make sure that isn't stuck. I believe I turned it clockwise till it stopped. And reinstalled after. Hooked power back up to van. Bam. Do not take the screws out for black housing unless u want a big problem putting gears and lever back in place! My actuator was out of alignment and was not turning anymore. I suspect the blend door was stuck on hot because there is a rubber flap that melts like glue to the housing. But after aligning actuator and gear everything went back to normal. Ac on the passenger side again. So if your actuators are testing good. Try to realign and reinstall

Fixed. I had the recirculatory flashing after I replaced my blend door with a generic $20 actuator. I purchased OEM Part# 68299450AA and it solved the problem. Once reset cycle and it was fixed. 2012 Dodge Grand Caravan.

Thanks for sharing, man. I'm having this same issue on my Dodge Grand Caravan, but mine is on the driver's side. I had it replaced in the summer of 2020 and it went out a week later, so the shop replaced it again. It then went out a couple of months later and I have not messed with it since. What irritates me with this issue, is that it will blow freezing cold air during the winter and hot air during the summer. Absolutely ridiculous. I'll order one of these and just replace the part myself this time to save a ton of money.

I just changed out the driver's side actuator and it was not easily accessible at all but I did get the job done. I had to start sitting outside of the van with my arm under the steering wheel and then proceed to wiggle my way to the floor board so I could partially see the part. I could only see the top screw from that angle but felt my way around for the bottom screw. I am 6'3" though so it might be easier for smaller people.

awesome vid on the locations and telling us they are all the same! If yours just clicks, take it apart (clips) and if you find the black splined drive gear has a broken tooth, just grind the spline opposite the missing spline location and fit the gear back in so the broken tooth is on opposite side of white drive gear. The splined gear only rotates 90 degrees so this makes it so it will never reach the broken tooth again.

Have a blinking yellow light in your AC controls? Remove both battery terminals (please use safety equipment) and touch them together. You are resetting the internal computer with this process. Terminals should make direct contact for a few seconds. Once done reconnect terminals to the proper battery posts, black goes to ( - ) and red goes to ( + ). Hope this works for you. It worked on my '15 Caravan.

Did you need to recalibrate the actuator afterwards?

Hey, big help, thanks. Right was blowing hot during ac. Took apart and tested like you said. It was working. Figured out how the mechanism worked while running. Adjusted things the best way I could. Now working fine. I hope it lasts. Maybe it went out of adjustment on a cold day. Thanks for your help. You saved me the price of the part.
