Interesting. I’m having this problem and was looking into how to check actuators and doors but they seem to be working since I can switch to hot air no problem. Def need to try this. Thanks for the info man!
You bet, hope it works for ya.
@@papajoeknows8355Worked like a charm! Drivers side actually blowing a degree or two colder than passenger side now. Thanks man!
Thank you for the tip. Def. trying this before taking to mechanic. It’s hot here and I need my truck and AC this week especially.
Tried this and didn't worked on 2014 Toyota Avalon. Appreciate for sharing this 🙏

Trying this now on my WRX. Having this issue just out of no where and like you I didn't realize the passenger side was cold until I had a passenger
Got my fingers crossed for ya.🤞🏻
Did it work for you?
@@papajoeknows8355 no but it did help me actually identify the issue. When I put the heat on I went outside the car, AC compressor sounds like it failed or is failing
@@lootbag2405 oh that’s sucks.

Joe your a lifesaver, i definitely subscribed to you! For anyone having trouble after 5 minutes on high heat, try turning off the car and starting it back up
@@ronaldsevenz awesome, glad it helped you. 👏🏻
You are a rocket scientist! It just worked like a charm on my rav4 ltd v6. I guess this is some glitch with the dual zone climate control AC config, just need to re-calibrate it once in awhile..thanks for the great and helpful video.
You bet, glad to hear it!
Trying this now before taking out the drivers side actuator. Im in texas abd its 112 every day so going to head in the house for the second part lol. Thanks!
Lol, I’m in Florida, so I went inside for the 2nd part too. Fingers crossed 🤞🏻
It worked! Thank you so much man this save me time money and sweat because I was going to replace the actuator like a lot of other videos recommended. I don't drive my truck very often so I thought maybe it just sitting a bit caused the actuator to freeze up or something. Blowing ice Cold Air from both sides now and it took 10 min to fix. Thank you again!
@@codyarnold1411 awesome, glad to hear it!! 👏🏻
God bless you brother! This did the trick on my 09 Honda Odyssey! Saved me some $!
Hey that’s awesome 👏🏻
Procedure worked on my Toyota Vellfire. Thanks for sharing. Saved me a visit to the aircond tech.
Awesome, glad to hear it. 👍🏻
Having same issue on my 2015 Acura RDX. Tried this method but it didn't work unfortunately. Did research and I was about to order and replace the air blender actuator but one commenter said check the refrigerant first before ordering parts. Took it to a mechanic and he recharged it for $120. Lo and behold, AC now blows ice cold air on all vents. Thank God! Mechanic joked: if you get sick, don't blame me😁
I'm having this same issue let me know what you find out I just got this thing not more then 5 months ago SMH
It worked on my 2013 Avalanche, Thank You!
You bet, glad to hear it! 👏🏻
This worked for me. Unbelievable. Thank you!
It actually worked on my Volvo s90 … thanks for posting 😊
I just tried this on my 2010 Ford Escape, but sadly it didn’t work. This is pissing me off, because I just had it fixed not even a year ago when I got it. They put in a new compressor. It was working perfectly fine until the other day. I now have an appointment on Monday. I’m glad it worked for other people. I just don’t understand why it didn’t work on mine. 😩
I had a woman the other day tell me it didn’t work. Then she turned the car off for a minute to let everything reset, tried it one more time, and it worked. Maybe worth a shot.
I'm not usually the one too comment but youve been a great help! Thank you for sharing your research with us!
You bet, glad it helped you. 👍🏻
Your a life saver Man you saved me $1200 I have a Camaro that had that problem and it fixed it

thank you very much my ac is working correctly now on diver side, thank you again
So far it has worked for me in 2018 Dodge Journey. It was blowing cold on driver flaming on passenger. Tried syncing like you said this morning. Good so far. Thank you
So far, it has happened with my vehicle 3 more times since making this video, and this has fixed it each time. Interestingly, I’ve noticed that each time it happened was when I used the remote start.
Did you have the A/C button pushed and running while trying this or was the fan just on?
@@MissSolanaMama AC on
@papajoeknows thanks! This didn’t work for me, but found the actuator motor behind my glove box and noticed it was stuck and wasn’t moving (switching back and forth from cold to heat). Banged on it with the handle of a screw driver and boom! Worked! Now my a/c works on both sides again, must have been stuck on heat from winter. Appreciate your video! :)
@@MissSolanaMama hey that’s awesome, glad it worked out. Well done. 👍🏻
