Found out this problem can occur if your car battery is running low and needs to be replaced. After replacing the battery still had the issues hot one side cold on the other. Watched your video and tried it on my 2013 Lincoln MKX. First attempt didn't work without the dual button on. Worked like a charm after turning it on and doing the step over again. Car reset and saved me a bunch of money Thank you for your post.

You’re a life saver! I’ve been suffering in this 100 degree heat in Texas not wanting to fork over $1300 to get my actuator changed out. This seemed to work on my 2015 Chevy Silverado! It is still not as cold as the passenger side but it’s waaaay better than having no air on driver side since I had the vents closed because it was blowing hot air. Now it’s blowing cool air. It also seems like the ac still cuts out when I slow down and turn when I’m driving. But I can’t thank you enough for your video. Amazing!

Having same issue on my 2015 Acura RDX. Tried this method but it didn't work unfortunately. Did research and I was about to order and replace the air blender actuator but one commenter said check the refrigerant first before ordering parts. Took it to a mechanic and he recharged it for $120. Lo and behold, AC now blows ice cold air on all vents. Thank God! Mechanic joked: if you get sick, don't blame me😁
