I only discovered the Bee Gees at abut 10 years old, in 1975 with "Nights On Broadway", and I loved it. ( Not just because it's a great song, but I look forward to the Robin solo...such a unique voice.) Then, like you said, disco hit, and I still loved them, but thanks to UA-cam, I have discovered their older stuff, and they're my favorite Bee Gee's songs. (Along with "Alone", which is one of my favorites. Much like Nights On Broadway, there is the Robin solo that I look forward to.)

I think this was the very last song Robin ever sang live?🤔 He sang it with the soldiers in the British military. I think it's called Robin Gibb Singing With The Soldiers. Robin was so tiny and frail at that point. He passed away soon afterwards. Total love and respect for Mr. Robin Hugh Gibb.💜💜💜
This is a masterpiece. Absolutely perfect. Vocals, story, arrangement, etc.... I was born 6 years after this came out.....and I've been singing this my whole life. Even as a small child I knew this was special. God Bless the Souls of all the Bee Gees.

His intelligence, eccentricity and wit were SO attractive. A mysterious and complicated guy and who doesn't like mystery? Add to that the voice of an angel, the lips, the eyes, etc., etc., etc.! What part of London? I stayed with relatives in Hampstead Heath way back in the late 60's. As Samuel Pepys said, "When you tire of London you tire of life". I had a chance to see the Bee Gees three times in concert back in the seventies and I loved the guys from the very first time I heard them. In the '60's, I loved listening to the Bee Gees. They recorded such awesome music. Most people associate them with the disco era. And, even though I loathed disco, the Bee Gees music from that era does hold up brilliantly. Their harmonies are amazing. Such talent. Robin's voice just slays me. These guys were so good. You would never guess from their looks if they walked past you... But dang.. they were amazing.
In the '60's, I loved listening to the Bee Gees. They recorded such awesome music. Most people associate them with the disco era. And, even though I loathed disco, the Bee Gees music from that era does hold up brilliantly.
Their harmonies are amazing. Such talent. Robin's voice just slays me. I just hope people remember their earlier work.
