I remember being completely mesmerized. It's my favorite song of all my life. Robin Gibb's voice was a gift from God. I'm thankful to have been able to grow up, and old, listening to him sing.
Hello Victoria, How are you doing?
Still one of the best songs and one of the best groups of all time. RIP Robin, Maurice and Andy. They adapted to what the era needed showcased by some of the best Disco Music ever!
Listening this song in 2024 was overwhelming me with the all of the beautiful and sadness memories in the past of my childhood in Jakarta in the 70’s , as my time is limited now as an old man ,I thankfully to God to experiencing all of this.
Oh dear Robin all my ♥ is for you.... perfect voice and incredible talent
My favorite Bee Gees song - forever fresh and amazing as the day I first heard it.
One of my fave song of Bee Gees , listen to this song almost everyday especially at night . I love Robin so much , his voice is amazing and he is gorgeous , smart and funny guy . I love his single song Juliet and Boys Do Fall In Love .
The Bee Gees were an incredible singing/harmonising trio and this is one of my best songs!! I was only a tot when it was released and didn't discover it until Saturday Night Fever era!! A mazing!!
Hello 👋 Sharon
Still...and always....the best harmony and vocals ever. Such memories. I miss these days.

Robin your voice and melody are forever in my heart.
Quel timbre de voix .. à frémir , bravoooo les bee-gees .. mon époque
Probably the best version of this song - still listening in 2021!!
Robin had the voice of an angel. No one could harmonize like him.
Arnold Caines siblings will usually harmonise in pitch with each other
Simon n garfunkel?
Agree
Haha, hell yeah.
Beach boys harmonies were the best, not taking anything fro the bee gees
Robin. What a voice. So beautiful and unique !You recognize it right away!
I listen to a lot of music and am always drawn back to this song.
Thank you.
;)
Que saudades desse conjunto maravilhoso. Ídolos dá minha adolescência.
Great song. The voice exceptional. One can only be born with a voice like that.
The Bee Gees albums from 1967 to 1970 are the best string of albums ever released in poprock history!
Maybe I will check them out.
@@bernie4268 Idea(1968) is perhaps their most fully formed but Odessa(1969) is a lavish double album full of beautiful ballads including the marvellous Melody Fair.
Nobody had or has had a voice quite like Robin.
Incredible.!!
Mi gran amor robin
1967,I was 16..mum and dad always put top of the pops on TV for us,5 children... Priveleged to have seen this performance...Best group ever.. RIP Andy,Maurice and Robin. You will never be forgotten in my generation and probably not in future generations re your unique sound and song writing.Good health to Barry x
Hello Linda Gourlay. How are you doing?
This is a beautiful vocal performance by Robin. In a couple of shots of Barry I was so surprised to realize that little brother Andy Gibb resembled Barry very much.
Not to mention that young Robin is just so darned adorable in this video😀
@@carolwilliams2439, 🤣.....ok
If you saw the 4 brothers together, you would think Barry and Andy were the twins, not Robin and Maurice...
@@martinusgroninger1875 Exactly. Barry and Andy look nearly identical and more like twins than the actual twins. Barry and Andy are twins 12 years apart.
As a child I found this recording in a forgotten pike of my uncle's records. I was mesmerized by it then and still today.
where do you live?
Harmonia das vozes é incrível, saudades Robin 😢❤
I love how they sing the lines "and the lights, all went out in Massachussets..." I still feel the warm, sad and cute feeling and I feel the need to listen and sing that part whenever I hear the song.
It's such a great song, isn't it? Sticks in the memory...
09/02/2021!
Terça feira!
'pathos' maybe Kikyou.
Can’t believe Robin was only 17 here. And what a voice at that age. He was to be 18 later that year xx
Hello 👋 Helen
I was 15yrs old when this song came out. Robin's vocals were sad but sweet!
This song has something magic. Every time I heard it my spirit returns to happiness. I bought the record in 1967 in a small shop in Paris and still brings me this magic feeling.
Hello Jan, how are you doing?
What a music!!! What a talented singers. Im listening in Poland 2024
Sitting on a small church pew I heard this in a house across the street, made me forget what Father was preaching !! The stars never dim in the skies....

wonderful song, beautiful voices, so many memories 😢😢😢
