You left out Jim Clark at the 1963 Belgian GP in the rain, where he started on the third row and took the lead before the first corner! He easily won the race by 4 minutes and 56 seconds!

No. 3, Gilles Villeneuve started 5th place and was leading the race before the first corner. I swear, everyone seems to turn a blind eye to Villeneuve when (in my opinion) he is the greatest driver of all time. I'm happy he placed high on the uploader's list; hopefully gain him some more recognition.

All those Renault starts were down to launch control before other teams mastered it. I heard from a mate Renault were detecting a change in the electronic current in the grid jump start detector that occurred when the lights went green to automatically launch the cars.

Renaults in the mid 2000s had a launch control system that intercepted Charlie Whiting's signal during the start sequence and pretty much automatically launched the cars from the line to a perfect start. It kind of looses it's magic when you know that...

So the 90's were the best, even for F1. Damn I miss those years, on all aspects of life. So glad my mom decided to introduce me in 85.

Riccardo Patrese's start at Hungaroring 1988 and Kyalami 1992 is missing. In that first race in 1992 both Williams didn't have the traction control installed yet. Also both Andrea DeCesaris' starts at Spa in 1983 from 3rd place to 1st. He performed same maneouver twice.

4:50 Stefan Bellof could’ve been Ayrton Sennas most formidable opponent, maybe even more so than Alain Prost, in the Monaco GP in 1984 when Senna was in P2 catching Prost in his Toleman Stefan was going a few seconds a lap faster than Senna. At least that’s what I heard. Jeez I would’ve loved to see Senna vs Bellof
