Iirc, she drove over a curb, lifting her car making it unable to utilize the break, and then drove over another car which functioned like a ramp, launching her full speed into the barrier.
Yeah, while the girl of the first accident in Macau survived, i stopped the video after that Eau Rouge crash at 2:05, because i´m pretty sure someone died there. I remember watching an interview of Lewis Hamilton and it happened right this moment and you could see it in his face straight away that something bad happened.
I still can't grasp Grosjean's accident how he survived that. I literally still get goosbumps and tears seeing that. I lived through Ratzenberg and Senna's death in 1994, Bianchi's death, and saw several unfortunately deadly accidents, but from all the accidents I saw, that Grosjean accident was the most impactful and violent accident i have EVER SEEN, and the fireball it accompanied was like a seal of death. I vividly remember seeing that live on TV and my heart sank to my feet, i felt the coldest run through my spine, and literal tears, as there is still no reason or explenation despite the contrary that he was able to survive that accident. I could not believe seeing him alive escaping that wreckage, and surviving with just burn marks on his hands. I was still in such deep shock but that turned into tears of relief, but i was shook for like two days from that. I cannot grasp the impact it must have been not only for him, but for his family, the team, and other F1 drivers. But it must be said that i think it's one of the biggest miracles in racing int the past 30 years. I think Barrichello's survival at that same '94 Imola weekend is on the same level of miracle.

Yep, still remember seeing it clear as day. Was hungover on the couch watching F1 with my dad, my dad shouting fire, and just being stunned for a few seconds. I then said that I was certain we just watched a man die. Those 28 seconds before he got out seemed like an hour.
Exactly why UA-cam not showing how many people disliked the video anymore was a massive mistake in my opinion. I get it, they want to make it so that people give the video a chance without being scared away by the like/dislike ratio, but it also removed the ability to warn other UA-camrs that the video is clickbait, or not at all what was promised by the video title. If you can see that 90% of people disliked a video, it's a pretty good bet that something fishy is going on.

The only thing I didn’t see was Isle of Mann, there is a 200 mph flush head on with a building that would have fit. The Roman Grosjean crash was scary as all hell.. I watched it live, you saw the fire-ball, red-flags and then nothing... was incredibly nerve-wracking and the weight of the room just kind of hung until we learned he got out and was in the medical car being transported to the tent... even then it was a few more minutes before they showed a replay knowing that he was ok and not going to die. Very respectful.
That Grosjean crash will forever be absolutely mind blowing, especially that he jumped out of there basically unharmed. Still boggles the mind. I was convinced he was a goner watching that live.

My uncle years ago raced rails, he had one come apart on him towards end of the track only thing left was safety cage. He suffered pain for many years afterwards and it effected his whole life physically. He's still kicking and retired in Florida he's in his 80's now.

Having grown up in the 80s, when car safety had a distinctly casual approach, it's absolutely mind blowing how much safer drivers are today. Those safety cells which the drivers of today sit in protect them from I conceivably huge forces and it's a testament to the work of engineers to have made such an inherently dangerous sport so, so much safer Lives are one time events.
As thrilling as motorsports can be, safety is always the top priority. This compilation serves as a stark reminder of the risks involved in these high-speed competitions. It's a testament to the incredible skill and resilience of the drivers and teams who push the limits of speed and performance. That's a woman, and I don't believe (but haven't fact checked) that crash killed any spectators. Also before you're like "woman drivers" she later went on to podium at 24 hr Le Mans
Each of these drivers (including all deceased ones) know the dangers of these sports but they do it because they love doing it which I believe they should be well respected for
