    Yup. The 2-row Grand Cherokee is finally all-new for 2022 after 12 years of the old model being on sale! Jeep consistently sells over 200,000 units every year in America making this the best-selling Jeep in the USA. We start our drive in the luxury Summit Reserve and end up in the off-road ready Trailhawk. Sadly, we won't be driving the 4xe and V8 until later.

      Hmm, I'm wondering where that "Legal Disclaimer" screen is. The aka 'by hitting OK, you can't sue Jeep' - where's that screen? Most likely disabled for the press.

      My 2019 Durango if it’s only off for like 10-15 minutes when you start it it boots right up like that without the Uconnect disclaimer but if it’s off for longer then it will so that could be what happened here

    ALMOST PERFECT!!! Bi Turbo that V6 Pentastar (Chrysler won’t let that engine go…lol) ad the 17.3kWh battery from the Wrangler 4xe and you have a home run. Easily will complete with my BMW and the X5 45e. Just putting the 2.0 Turbo 4 cylinder with the 17.3kWh package from the Wrangler would work, but to do it right, especially wit the extra 700+ pounds the Cherokee has on the Wrangler, the six is the way to go. Beautiful vehicle, another honest and great review.

    I ordered my Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland with the V8 12/23/21. It has waiting for it: Cold air intake, Kook’s 3” long tube headers, and a Borla Attack exhaust waiting for it to be installed after I’ve driven it a few miles. Lookout forward to it. My other 2 Grand Cherokees, a Trailhawk and an Overland, did do some fun off road time but were sadly totaled. Not my fault.

    The Grand Cherokee looks good as hell. For $67,000 this Summit Reserve is absolutely gorgeous but overpriced for a Jeep. They certainly implemented some technology upgrades to their interiors which were much needed, and looks that off-road capabilities haven’t decreased. I’m just not sure after waiting 10 years consumers should have to pay this high of premium to have these long over-due updates. The passenger display screen is cool. Love the design of the new GC.

    • @htenthusiast2897
      @htenthusiast2897 2 роки тому

      Fully agree, it’s way overpriced. When Jeep just introduced the GC on their webpage the prices were reasonable, then they deleted the prices and a few weeks later increased it by $5-10k across the versions. I like what they did but at these prices have a hard time justifying to myself. There are just other very nice real luxury vehicles with better engines available for the price.

      @HT Enthusiast I don't think it's over priced, if anything it's UNDERpriced. I mean, ventilated REAR seats, animal/human detecting night vision, Level 2 self-driving, McIntosh stereo, air suspension, lowrange transfer case, a killer 4×4 system, the rearview works as a screen that displays from a camera on the backend, those "palermo" leather seats are incredibly plush, AND to finish it off the seats are massaging. Not to mention it has Hemi power that lets you pull 7,200lbs.

    • @psychologicaltirefire8190
      @psychologicaltirefire8190 2 роки тому

      @HT Enthusiast The only reason I think you're saying it's overpriced is that you don't consider Jeep to be able to pull off a luxury SUV. I mean, Jeep invented the luxury SUV before anyone else so consider that.

    It seems like a mistake to make the Trailhawk trim so luxurious, which just increases the cost and makes you less likely to use it as intended, when the Bronco Black Diamond and Badlands trims are so much more utilitarian and less costly. It's also too early to tell if this generation is more reliable, which lots of people have been concerned about.

    I have a 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee Summit (absolutely beautiful with the black diamond exterior with the dark sienna brown interior), but the one problem I have with the car is the air suspension.
    My wife gets car sick in it and we've never had this problem in any other car before. I do have to admit that it throws you around quite a bit, especially side to side on what's typically very smooth road surfaces, it basically exaggerates slight dips and hills in the road surface and is not very luxurious. This undesired motion is even worse if you have some extra weight in the car or carrying things around in the trunk.
    For that reason, I'm looking to get out of this Jeep and into something new. I like the look of the new ones, but I'm concerned that the air suspension in the new ones will have the same problem. Anyone get any seat time in these to confirm how the ride is on the newer models and if it's improved at all vs the previous generation?

    • @robertjohnston8531
      @robertjohnston8531 2 роки тому +1

      Are you saying the ride is spungy or something? Mine seems quite firm. 2014.

    • @GuyOnYouTube
      @GuyOnYouTube 2 роки тому +1

      @@robertjohnston8531 it’s definitely a firm ride for a car with air suspension, but what I was referring to is more side to side motion over uneven road surfaces than is typically felt in a car with conventional suspension.

    • @joeyt583
      @joeyt583 2 роки тому +1

      @@jordanpyke4109 it’s wasn’t even so much body roll like when doing highway exit / entrance ramps.
      It was more or less slight oscillation and bouncy where the air suspension exaggerated every minor road imperfection that most cars just glide over, but instead of oscillating just up and down, you would also get tossed left and right (still without body roll).
      It’s a shame because I loved literally everything else about the truck, but had to get rid of it because my wife would get physically sick after just a short ride. Picked up a Mustang Mach-E EV for now since I got it for sticker and was still eligible for the full tax credit before it went away. Definitely miss the larger size though, so likely will make this her car (esp since she drives more and it saves so much money) and then pickup a new truck.
      I’m definitely going to try to test drive the new Jeep GC, I just feel like my wife is over Jeep now and even if it’s better, she’ll probably still get car sick, even if it’s just because of a mental reminder of my last Jeep… Fingers crossed though!

    The non L has a 2 row or 3 row option on the Jeep builder on the website but no reviewers seem to say anything about that, they just keep saying the L is 3 row and the non L is the 2 row but the website says something completely different! How come?
