@@yungboicontigo9278 i have no interest at all in super cars. I like 70’s muscle. Other than that I’d take a mid 90’s Chevy c1500 over pretty much any other vehicle if I had the opportunity to have any car I wanted. My dream car is a 70 cuda but I’m sure I’ll never have one of those. I’ve been into cars forever. I’m actually a mechanic, super cars just don’t interest me at all. I drive a 2008 tundra that is bare stock. I don’t tune or upgrade or really do anything to my vehicles besides tinting the windows. I’m a really weird car guy. So this jeep interests me because my wife could use a new car.

The tailgate button inside the cargo bay, I remembered back from a video of the old Grand Cherokee, was meant to give easier access for people who are shorter and might have trouble reaching the button on the tailgate. Keep in mind that the Grand Cherokee is a globally-sold vehicle, including European, Asian, and Australian countries and people might have different heights. I once found myself testing that feature on a 2018 Grand Cherokee and I think it works well even though I am not short.

Went from an older Tahoe to a new Durango and I have to say I really appreciate the position of the tailgate button. It's never blocked by cargo, but when you have your hands full of groceries you don't have to lift them or come back to close the gate. I don't know why you would want to have to reach up to close a power tailgate. Another thing that FCA did that a bunch of people don't like is the dual gear changer. I don't understand why people want a stick taking up room. I could imagine if people got more used to it the design team would hide it to give you more room. Like the F150 with the shifter that folds. Imagine not having it in the way at all.

@@deepthoughtswithjessica , Certain manufacturers have vehicles which hold their value better than others. JGC has one of the worst. Its objectively fast in Europe. Our emission laws are much stricter, and cars are taxed based on emissions, on top of that gasoline is taxed to cost $9 a gallon so people care about fuel consumption a lot. Normal cars here do 0-60 in 8-12 seconds. Anything below 7 is considered fast. My Lexus GS450h (5.3 seconds) and my girls Volkswagen Polo GTI 2019 (6.1) beat pretty much 90% of anything you meet on the road. Except for the weekends when people take out their weekend toys.
In the Netherlands for example, American cars are unpopular due to taxes. This Jeep would be taxed at around $50.000 on top of cost and 21% VAT. Expect to pay $170k for something like this.
Jeep dealers wont even offer this model here lol

Now you ignore China and India spewing 90% of the worlds pollution into the air and you pick on certain parts of America that you hate but Have never been to. Europe is a huge rip off to live in tiny living spaces for a ridiculous amount of money with crappy cars. I drove a black one of those yesterday at my job working as a car runner for a Chevrolet dealership. I believe it was the bigger one. Very nice. I was driving it during the beginning of a snow storm that dumped about 12” on us. Very nice vehicle but at highway speed the gas pedal was too sensitive. Just a tiny of a hair of a push on the pedal and it’s going 5mph faster. If I had another few minutes to study the controls I could have turned on the cruise control. I’m hoping that I will get to drive a C8 Corvette, but it’s winter right now and that ain’t happinen soon.
