      Actually this judge WAS for black & white ppl. Those of us who believe in the fellowship of all people as humans who ARE BLACK...ARE WHITE...ARE ASIAN...ARE HISPANIC...ARE NATIVE TO THE AMERICAS. HE SPOKE TO/FOR US ALL. All who believe in right things and justice FOR ALL! And he sure did demonstrate this in his summation. God has blessed him with a true discerning mind filled with compassion AND TRUTH!
      May the fair mentally balanced people of the land rejoice. And may those who disagree with this verdict and believe in injustice listen to what he stated and maybe a light of CORRECTION in their mind (the mind of "in ERROR" thinking) change for the better.

      This judge is Amazing. But sadly, most judges aren't that compassionate. Just like most people aren't that compassionate. Which is why giving random people too much power will always be problematic. Like police policing themselves for example. that will always end badly.

      @Konservative Kirby XI I know you were being sarcastic but I genuinely mean best of luck. Every life has intrinsic value. Which was my point. No property has value over human life. (In my opinion) property can be replaced the other can not. Not my job to regulate your values. It is my right to disagree with them. When I say best of luck to you, I do mean it.
      Edit: I completely disagree with your viewpoint of this case, but I believe that open discussion about cases such as this can bring us closer to a common understanding. I encourage you to discuss this with a mutual respect and understanding

      While I agree that this is sound advice on how to live life, there have been many occasions where bystanders have saved someones life or assisted in an altercation that saved someones life. Here recently a little girl was saved from her kidnapper after a random person noticed her odd behavior. There was a scuffle and chaos in the attempt to stop the guy from fleeing with her. Ultimately the kidnapper was arrested and the little girl returned to her family. She had been missing for about a year. Its definitely a roll of the dice when it comes to these things, and the person making the decision better right. Because these are the consequences for getting it wrong. They are spending life in prison. Look at the people trying to stop Kyle Rittenhouse, they also got it wrong and paid with their life.

Theft of land, of life, of human freedom and basic human rights and dignity. You have no right to say who is good and who is not. They didn't even know 99.9% of it existed or been on the land. Yet the Indians think they "owned it". The Indians had no govt. The Indians had no land records. If someone died..... that was the end of the "ownership" that they never had in the first place because they never had any govt to enforce it, or records about it. There were no land boundaries either. Telling someone you own the land "as far as the eagle flies" isn't specific. Futhermore you can't tell the rest of the world, many of whom were coming to America, to go find your own continent and that "we own it all", because there are only 7 continents and people have to live somewhere whether you like it or not.

    This judge considered EVERYTHING in this case very thoroughly from what was said by the defendants and their demeanors to the weapon used to the footage and social media post to the innocent situation that turned fatal and to the pain that the family feels to lose a loved one in this horrible fashion. The minute of silence he took was a galvanizing moment as it was only a fraction of the time that AA was faced with terror. With the humility the judge showed, I imagine him picturing a son or grandson of his facing that same type of terror and how he would feel if it was a situation that he himself had to endure. This is a honorable judge who held no bias and called it down the line like it was suppose to be called. Much respect to him for bringing forth a righteous decision.

    • @Ricardo-eg3wn
      @Ricardo-eg3wn 2 роки тому

      In Georgia it’s now unlawful they erased citizens arrest law because it was racist from its very creation. It was designed for whites to be able to apprehend blacks under Jim Crow southern law. Essentially legalized Lynching. Look it up. However under modern interpretation it’s used as defense to witnessing a felony. However in Georgia until this was disbanded (after Aubrey) you were not allowed to hold someone at gun or weapon point. You were only allowed to restrain them with your hands. After witnessing a felony. Trying to attempt a citizens arrest with a loaded firearm is a crime. If you don’t have the right to self defense you can’t use the gun. Otherwise it’s brandishing. Class one misdemeanor. Or felony. Depending on the circumstances and or the state. So even if they were trying to make a citizens arrest their still wrong. I received my Georgia weapons permit in Brunswick less than 15 miles from where this happened when I was stationed 30 min up the road at exit 1 in kings bay. I still hold and cary with this Georgia issued permit.

      It is everyone's God-given right to defend themselves, and that's exactly what Ahmaud Arbery was doing. The McMichaels would not let him out of the neighborhood and he believed he was going to die anyway. Arbery attacked McMichael and he had every right to do so. Even if Arbery had thrown a stick or a brick at the McMichaels, that would've been the right thing to do. Furthermore, it is illegal to chase someone with a gun.

      @@ulyssesgrant2782 I concur . If you stalk and brandish a weapon at someone they have the right to defend themselves. - however if the police understood citizens arrest law they should have arrested the mc Michael’s on the scene as soon as they said citizens arrest. My response to that would have simply been…. What felony did you see him commit? And why did you have a gun on you when you approached him. My immediate charges would have been brandishing, stalking, and false imprisonment, however I would have sought clarification on the murder before writing it up. That’s just me. Based off of their initial testimony. They need to charge the first officers on the scene with collaboration and or negligence. If I can point out three obvious charges from the jump. Why did it take them weeks to arrest these fools? From living there for 5 years and seeing how these bubbas operate I can tell you. Southern good ol boy system. I would also like to point out that every federal law enforcement agency has personnel stationed right up the road at FLETC…. So this sentiment resonates in law enforcement to collaborate with the good ol boys. All the way to the top. Fbi needs to externally investigate GBi. And the Brunswick police dept. as well as Camden county sheriffs. This racism and corruption doesn’t stop with one retired law enforcement officer and his son and the neighbor. It’s a lot more of those fools that think and act the way these men did. And their still in power. Take down the whole system. Not just three of them. The issue is is why did these three men sleep at home the night they committed murder and why did it take the case being blown up on social media just to get them charged? Arbery was also known nearby as the Robber Jogger, amongst nearby convenience stores. Arbery also had a schizoaffective disorder which made his behavior bewildering for the McM's. Arbery had to talk to cool things down,….. the McM's tried to talk with him but Arbery remained mute,…. and then aggessed on the gun,… the idea was that Arbery would stop, and they'd for the police to take over.
      They have remorse for this death, but, they felt justified given his repeated suspicious behavior and not acknowledging the callouts of inquiry about his activities. But, the McM's should've only monitored Arbery, in waiting for the police rather than getting up in his face,… other than to inquire. Life in prison is excessive for the punishment. Arbery is guilty also. And besides that, check out Arbery's criminal record over the prior decade.

    Around 1997 while living in Hampton, Virginia, I had a similar scary situation, but luckily I got away. I was walking home from work with a coworker. A block after the coworker and I went our separate directions I walked passed a driveway that had a truck in it. I didn’t notice until the truck attempted to start multiple times as I walked by. Once the truck started they passed by slow and said something I couldn’t make out, got to the stop sign and turned right. As I got to the intersection I found the truck was quickly whipping a U-Turn. I turned left and continued walking, but heard it speed up so I started jogging, knowing that the path I was taking was on the right a couple houses down. The truck increased speed behind me. I kept calm and jogging. As the truck got closer I did a 90 degree cut right, to the path leading behind the Middle School. From that path to my apartments on the other side of and across the street from the school was a good 4 football fields away. I ran it, holding both pockets of my Taco Bell uniform, in around 30 seconds flat. World Record timing. Barely felt like my feet touched the ground. My heart is racing now just remembering and typing this. 👊🏾

    The "officer" did nothing.
    Hedidn't detain anyone. He didn't begin first aid. No, he walked up to Mr Arbury, heard the incriminating statement, and simply requested crime scene tape, and walked back to his trunk.
    Then he told the 2nd officer on scene. "He's about to be 10-7."
    In my neck of wood, we would say 10-42. Which by the book means, "End of Shift."

Every trial that I have kept up with, the judges were fair, and concise. But I have to say after this speech I think this judge is great. There are many things that I can point to including using accurate words such as “granular” in reference to the topic of closure. But the one thing that I was really impressed with is when he spoke about how after they had killed Ahmaud, how they turned their backs. That pointed out the callousness of their character.
