The judge did a good job up till the neighbor that used his pickup truck as a weapon. In the interview with GBI William Rowdy Bryant admitted that he wished he would have hit Mr. Arbery with his pickup truck. He said he missed him. He walked out of the police station after making that statement. How in the hell did this guy who is convicted of felony murder and aggravated assault with a pickup truck show any sign of remorse.
Look at how the system is still trying to protect white men. Throughout the cross examination none wore mask. It was designed that way so the world can see Travis fake cry. Now sentencing they have mask on to hide there Face from the FBI.
Again this judge had it wrong when it comes to the neighbor. A pickup truck used to hit someone is just as deadly as a shotgun.

Racism is everywhere, it's just not always loud, upfront, and in your face. I live in Savannah, GA where although it is predominantly black you can still see and feel racism. In the '80s, I was the only black person at a local dance school...white people took their kids out of the school because I was there. In 1990, I was the only black person at a private high school...I was called the "n-word" to my face. My three kids who are now all young adults still experience racism for themselves...so yes, it still exists.
However, like the other person said...the majority of southerners will show you nothing but love and kindness. You just have a few McMichaels around that look for trouble.

Teach your son that when confronted in broad daylight with other people around not to lunge at someone pointing a gun at them and try to fight them for the gun.
Teach your son to let them point their guns and then wait for the payday in court.
Why don't your kids jog on the "hood", simple answer.
This kid was never in any danger, but when he lunged at the 2 guys trying to keep their neighborhood safe it all went down the drain.
Yes they had no reason to point a firearm at him, but that does not justify him grabbing their guns. They were supposed to just be charged with illegal point of a firearm, his killing was self defense.
A sad sad day for justice in the world.
Please educate your children, if you are in someone else's neighborhood cooperate with them and show them you are not a problem or a threat. This kid's ego got him killed, aswell as the racism he was raised with believing they will kill him, after they called they cops. A) He explained what the difference between an apology and remorse is.
    B) He maintained that the sentencing did not amount to closure (as each person comes to this issue from a different perspective and context) and he therefore looked at it as a day of accounting. Each person should be held accountable for their deeds and actions.
    C) He ended with the advice that if we assume the worst in somebody, we show our worst character, and therefore the best action always is, to assume the best in others.

I'm not defending the officers, but the Medical Examiner confirmed there wasn't anything that anyone could have done to save him regardless. The first officer that showed up was by himself and therefore would not have been able to properly render first aid (not that it would have worked) without having backup for his own safety. It was mentioned the first officer only had basic first aid training which would not have helped AA and he stated he witnessed AA give his final breath. The 2nd officer that arrived had more advanced medical training and he determined there was nothing that could be done for AA, he was already gone and then the Paramedics (firefighters) showed up, and again, too late. During the Medical Examiner's testimony, they slowed down the video to show how the first shot went through AA's wrist (hitting an arterial vein) and chest at the same time and during the struggle he was literally bleeding out and lost a lot of blood. The 2nd shot was fatal in the upper shoulder/neck area if I recall which is the shot that paralyzed him according to the ME and he would not have survived regardless. Police are just trained with basic first aid at most, some have advanced training for gunshot wounds, but they are not paramedics or doctors. They don't carry around the same stuff that ambulances do and unfortunately in this case, according to the ME, noone could have saved AA. 😢

He could have turned back ands ran the other way.
Ahmoud thought, "eff these mthrfkrs they aint gonna shoot me."
Why else would he do the absolute best thing he coulda done, if he was trying to get shot in under ten seconds.
Seriously. Someone try to give a scenario that would result in him getting shot faster.
He charged, attacked and while hitting him in the face with his right fist, he was stripping the gun with his left?!?!
If that was happening to me?
Im fearing for my life. Its him or me.
Ahmoud had NO REASON to think his life was in danger. lmao Thats ridiculous. Its fantasy.
But he knew why they were out there yelling to him, "Hey we just wanna talk to you"
If you think these two armed guys standing at the top of the road a half a block away want to kill you for real....you are running the opposite way.
Youre not running up the street to confront them. Thats stupid.
      Go watch the video.
This was mob pressure. This was self defense all day long. Ahmoud did the dumbest thing you can do to an armed person. I mean wtf?!
But, it was a poor victim of soiciety who got himself shot, now 3 men are going to prison for th erest of their lives??! The neighbor guy?? HE came out and video recorded?!? Life in prison??
