He left out the fact they were chasing and harrasing him because he was a black man running in a rural white area. The guy who " suspected " he'd done something wrong shows exactly the way thes kind of ppl think. Had he minded his business this young man would still be here. He stereotyped him and it cost him his life.

I'm so grateful that there are men like him involved in the GA legal system. I hear so many racist things out of so many people since I moved down here and this makes me feel like there is still hope for continuing improvement in the justice system. People like these murderers should never feel like they can do things like this without consequences because of race or their prior or current affiliation with law enforcement. Every person should be held to the same moral and legal standards no matter what.

What he didn't do was cripple the prosecution, he didn't suppress evidence, he didn't work for the defense. He was there to represent the law and I think he did a stellar job.

The judges own opinion that he gave on each murderer was so accurate, the facial expressions left on the defense lawyers were of disbelief, guess they never expected a judge to give such a strong accurate personal opinion, the best part was when the judge gave a theatrical moment, asking everyone to sit in silence for 1 minute ( explaining that was only a fraction of time when ahmaud arbery was running for his life ) that was such a strong and powerful statement through out of the entire trial, this honourable judge deserves a gold medal. There should be more honest and genuine judges like him, and only then can justice be served.

Just because those men are white and he was black does not negate his crimes that day or the fact that he was on parole for stealing prior to that. He has a lengthy record for a 25 yr old but somehow he is the 100% victim and that is ridiculous and false!!!

All of us are accountable except Ahmaud Arbery! Crime and a life of crime has always been detrimental to your health and Floyd, Brooks and Arbery are obviously not exceptions to those rules! How about we stop pretending these were good men, they were criminals and in the act of crime when they were killed. Constantly caseing potential crime targets and assault, allegedly using counterfeit money and resisting arrest and being drunk passed out at a Wendy's and then assaulting the 2 arresting officers and firing a taser at them are all crimes and they were all repeat offenders, not contributors to society. Can we at least just tell the truth and stop the racially motivated lies! There were definately bad costly decisions made by the arresting individuals especially in the Floyd case even though Floyd was the biggest criminal of the three! Brooks definately posed a serious threat to public safety and was shot and killed legitimately after beating 2 officers and firing their stolen taser at them.

Well I think that was part of the reason what made them and the entire family so arrogant including the daughter. For instance, after he shot him one of the cops asked him what his dad's name and he replied "Greg McMichael former investigator and police officer for the DA" . Why he feel the needs to mention that when nobody asked for it already tells you that they truly think they were above the law and can do whatever they want
