Love it. I'm glad they tucked the rear wiper blade a way. That's one of the only reason I would not buy the Navigator it looked cheesy and cheap this looks very rich very classy well done Lincoln
I grew up with Lincolns but they seem more intent on matching the cost of other luxury cars than delivering quality and rational upkeep expenses. I took my car in for work and know the owner who had a Navigator next to my car. I asked about the car and he laughed noting that the repair on the front bumper resulting from a fairly minor accident was around $10,000. This was the second conversation I had about massive repair costs for seemingly minor repairs. I avoided Land Rovers due to this issue and will avoid Navigators for the same reason. Paying over $100,000 is bad enough.
Well if you can't affored an insurance that covers it, then yeah don't look at it. Lincoln steped up their game and they're targiting the European luxery brands, so a 100k is not much when you look at the market and the reliability of the car. BTW, my colleague had a minor accident on his genesis suv, and the front bumper cost him 12k. But hey check out the Ford expedition high trems it's just a setp below that and you'll save around 20k more or less.
The 2025 with the new grill/header design reminds me of gen 1 and early gen 3. I watched a different vid on this yesterday and said something similar in the comments. It dawned on me what it is that makes me think of gen 1 with the 2025 and it's those narrow, slightly angled, squinty headlights. I absolutely love that squinty I'm judging you/stinkeye look with those headlights on the Navigator and that big chrome Lincoln trademark grill in the center. When gen 2 made those headlights taller/wider and changed the angle and size of the grill it killed it for me. I'd take a gen 2 if I had never seen a gen 1 though. 😂 I adore my 99 4x4 (not a super common feature for 1st gen) Navigator and though it's so primitive with comfort options and interior design/options compared to this gen 5 it's still an awesome ride. 👍👍🥰🥰 Oh!! And OMG the tailgate on the gen 5 is great. My first 'SUV' was a 92 Blazer and I loved the tailgate. It was great as a seat/ a table, or to have down for hauling long stuff and it was something I really missed about the back end design on my Navigator. So nice to finally see that on the Navigator. I mean I get it, the liftgate is more elegant but sometimes functionality has to take presidence. Nice job.👍

@fazalm6009 the Navigator was introduced 2 years before the Escalade was even released, in with that being said, The Navigator is the 1st on the scene and the original large suv.
The navigator was the one that started the "luxury full size SUV" segment. They came out with this before the eslcalade existed, Cadillac built the escalade to compete with lincoln's navigator
@@fazalm6009 I know, but you said that the Escalade is the og. When comparing this to the navigator, technically it’s the og since it was made before the Escalade. This doesn’t mean the navigator is better, I’m just saying that it’s the og more than the escalade

We loved our '21 Aviator. Pros: unreal Revel audio, plenty of power, comfortable except the seat bottom bolsters were hard and hurt my leg on longer trips. Cons: body panels falling off, especially the b-piller trim. The transmission needed replacing at 9500 miles(the Navigator shares that same drivetrain), and I worried about the push-button door openers as only the driver's seat had a manual release in case of electrical failure. We rented a Navigator for a long trip and the seats are wider so I don't think that seat bolster will be an issue. If you buy one pay the money for that Revel audio, you won't regret it!
You loved your 21 Aviator but you had to replace the transmission at 9500 miles and pieces were falling off of the car?? That's not a vehicle I would "love ". Just goes to show you that American vehicles are still inferior and way behind imports. Ford/Lincoln especially, they make junk.
Yes. The Navigator , Escalade are no doubt elegant looking full size SUV. But that said for the price you pay you do not retain the same value as a Range Rover, BMW, Lexus , even Toyota Land Cruiser. They just do not retain exceptional value. That’s a big deal to drive a 100,000 dollar plus vehicle off the lot and it automatically drops to 75,000- 69,000 dollar value.
I have the 2015 Navigator and my biggest complaint is the legroom in the backseats. I’m considering trading it in, in 2026 for this new one. I love all the features especially the large screen. Love the color too!
Pass on some feedback. If you have to road trip, ask the designer to sit in all the seats and try to relax, where do your arms rest, how do you lean, can you prop yourself against anything? I know that shouldnt be main focus but almost all designs overlook it. Also, that big dash maybe consider snacking or eating. Again super overlooked behavior that cars see daily especially families on the go. Like a kitchen in a house is the highlight, what are the highlights for cars. Comfort and eating are big.
The Navi is the better vehicle but Slade will continue to outsell it because the Slade has the hip hop cred and boss hogg cred all at the same time. Navi's are more quiet luxury but in today's society, showing out and bragging is more fashionable than being understated and classy.
Wow, no split headlights. Thumbs up for that. Wish there was an option to disable that lightbar but keep the Lincoln logo illuminated, that would look really sick
I love the design. The vehicle looks spectacular, I wish I could afford it. The only complaint that I may have is the engine. Lincoln must have a version with 600 hp range to compete with Cadillac and Range Rover. Otherwise, it will always be perceived as weak competition.
Under Joy Falotico, the former president of Lincoln, the brand has absolutely refused to compete with Cadillac in the performance category, instead leaning into the focus of Lincoln producing land yacht SUVs and crossovers.
After owning a V8 Chevy engine- (with less power and torque) I prefer a turbo 6 Ford no Question- but I realize the Mongoloids in the world ONLY care about displacement.
This seems more like a refresh than an all new model. Only the front fenders, hood and front facia are new. Even the headlights are the same as the prior model but encapsuled in a different housing. Still no hidden front wipers on this Lincoln refresh which takes away from having that premium look. The mirrors and the doors are the same as the previous model. Lincoln should have used the mirror housing of the 2020 Continental sedan and the moved the door handles to the beltline or made them flush on the door and pop out like the new Infiniti. That would give the Nav a more premium look and flagship status. These mirrors are from the Expedition and have always cheapen the look of the Navigator. The rear end design with that big plastic black panel also makes it look cheap. Lincoln finally hid the rear wiper underneath the spoiler and the split rear hatch is a good idea. The back end design doesn't look cohesive but maybe it will grow on me. Inside the all black plastic buttons for the gear shift selector look cheap and out of place in what will be a $100k vehicle. They should have been brushed nickel coated but not the high gloss plastic. This refresh is definitely not enough to overtake the Escalade or even close the gap. Lincoln will be lucky if all this refresh does is keep relevant in the segment.
Both the Escalade and the Navigator are nice, but this new Stankin Lancoln has got it! Those new features and elegance are nice. I like the sloped rear too. That double rear hatch is nice. I would love to see it in different colors, but I think all black will be the one. Great job Ford and Gooooooo LIONS!
The pushed back horizontal dash infotainment/instrument panel screen is no flush with the dash and placed in a way that will cause a distraction to the driver. That should not have left the design phase. On the contrary, the Cadillac Escalade did it beautifully.
Well its about time Lincoln Navigator start stepping up its game. Let just hope Ford can figure out how to manage their transmission issues they normally have.

My plan is to carjack one of these and move the interior into my '97 F250 Crew Cab. You know, the one with nice 18-inch wheels and a stomping 460 under the hood.
The problem with Lincoln and Ford is that they pack a lot of tech into their vehicles, but the software is poorly designed and it’s often riddled with bugs. I know personally from experience.
The plastic behind the seats are animatronics for the 30 way massaging seats... the seats have those plastic things on the back because they have massaging features built in.
Nowadays, people have the attention span of a mosquito, and they decide to give us even more distractions by installing two giant screens in their vehicles.
FINALLY...they hid that gawd awful rear window wiper! Like all the other Navigator designs, I don't like the high-ish dashboard design that limits your view of the hood and front end. The Escalade gives you a commanding view of both where this really doesn't.
It looks the most classy as it is possible in compared ti the Jeep GW or the Escalade, they're all freaking behemots so....only so much you can do about looks !

Would be perfect IMO, heated and cooled cup holders and a cooler!
The problem with Lincoln and Ford is that they pack a lot of tech into their vehicles, but the software is poorly designed and it’s often riddled with bugs. I know personally from experience.
oh my goodness, insane interior.
Best seats ever!
Greetings from oakville Ontario Canada home of the ford motor company thanks for the presentation
Seats should be thicker - double.. remove the black plastic behind
@koc63695 Why, when those are the softest seats in the full-size game
@@ricbrown5002 not soft
The plastic behind the seats are animatronics for the 30 way massaging seats... the seats have those plastic things on the back because they have massaging features built in.
This truck will become an electrical nightmare.
All cars these days.... Just get over it.
@@Scott-px6mi Remember that when you get that high azz bill.. just pay it and get over it.
Just don't try driving into flooded streets.
Every brand has electrical issues. If you have a Navi and you have problems, then ITS YOU, not the entire lineup.
Lincoln knows luxury... love it
Lincoln winning with that body style.
WTF? Rejuvenate mode? You gotta be kidding?!
Navigator engineering should have had more of a visual endeavor effect, 100,000+ vehicle "NO DOOR HANDLES"
Nowadays, people have the attention span of a mosquito, and they decide to give us even more distractions by installing two giant screens in their vehicles.
It’s the 2024 Nautilus , not the Aviator, that the 2025 Navigator the resembles , both the Exterior and the Interior.
Interior is Lucid Gravity copy! Cool Navigator.
They spent some good time doing on the front part.. love it! But not a big fan of rear
FINALLY...they hid that gawd awful rear window wiper! Like all the other Navigator designs, I don't like the high-ish dashboard design that limits your view of the hood and front end. The Escalade gives you a commanding view of both where this really doesn't.
What color is that?
It looks the most classy as it is possible in compared ti the Jeep GW or the Escalade, they're all freaking behemots so....only so much you can do about looks !
A very nice mid cycle refresh. Lincoln is missing a "V-series" "AMG" "M-series" version maybe call it a "Red Label".
Lincoln said they are not aiming for that market just luxury elegance.
@@ricbrown5002 they can always switch up to increase foot traffic into dealerships similar to what Lexus as done over a decade ago.
Red Label might actually get then sued by BMW because their performance BMW XM trim is called Label Red...
A nice Lincoln but it's NOT a Cadillac Escalade, with no run for it's money.
Cadillac=GMC, so they’re on par as far as quality. Escalade may have a slight edge on design, but not by much.
Ford definitely has better built quality than Gm...
@@chill-pill923 Ford has the highest recall rate of any automaker, the last three consecutive years! Soon to be fourth?
