In 1975 these 3 monsters would beat pretty much anything on the road. It’s crazy how fast a 6000 lb vehicle can get to 60 mph.
14 seconds 1/4 mile 3 row SUVs... wow. Soccer moms and dads are happy these days. :)
My 2003 Infiniti g35 coupe did 14.9 sec 1/4 miles. Wow how times have change
Performance = great - Price = way too much 😢
Yes we are
Almost nothing can beat an eco boost off the line. It’s crazy
BMW B58 or GOD like BMW S58 left the chat.....:)
Hurricane inline 6 and it’s not close
@@genderlessyoutubefanpersonI was going to mention the B58 from BMW would be another beast to go against.
Escalade V would have killed it.
@@gbaby4rb64I'd hope the HO variant would beat the decade old 3.5 High Output Ecoboost. The standard output Hurricane would probably lose
I love how the 3.5 ecoboost wasn’t even being brake torqued too. I think anyway, so that v6 beat the NA torque monster V8s even without being spooled up before hand. Thats insane
The grand wagoner with the inline 6 is way quicker! I had one for about a month. From a rental place when I was on a business trip. The car had 300 miles on it and the check engine light came on at 400 miles. The electronics in the back were never working and always frozen including the tablet screen in the back. Then the traction control was starting to get screwed up around 1k miles and last but not least It’s back up camera system sometimes wouldn’t let you leave a parking spot because it always thought somebody was behind you when nobody was even there. So I got stuck in parking spots.. it’s a beautiful and cool SUV but I wouldn’t trust it long for the long run after what I experienced.
🤣🤣
@@SamCarLegionI had to edit my comment because I forgot about the back up camera sensor would think people or cars were behind you and you would get stuck in parking spots sometimes. 😂
I had one for a week, i had so many issues with it. Even the Grand Cherokee L had issues, rear suspension failure at 100kmh - car would bounce from the rear end. The GW had heated seats button, screen overheating, and a bunch of other stuff
Worried more about speed than the actual reliability or upkeep is sad …
😂 not surprised
The 3.5L Ecoboost never disappoints. I know, have a F150
Plz the navigator is lighter with a better trans and just barely beat that Jeep from only a dig
Is the 5.0L V8 on the F-150 good?
Well the new grand wagoneer has a twin turbo huracane engine with 540hp
@@estuardogutierrez9041 and the Escalade V has 682hp.
I had a 2017 Lincoln mkz 2.0 turbo and it was pretty quick IN A STRAIGHT LINE. Also a ecoboost.
That Lincoln Navigator looks sooo good on the side profile 🏆Ecoboost 4WD is crazy good! Look at how that power sends to the rear wheels then back to the front damn!
Anyone else find is disappointing that the GM 6.2 has had the same HP and TQ output now since 2014? Crazy 10+ years and nothing done. Anyhow looking forward to seeing the GW with the HO turbo engine
Found that the H.O wagoneer can do a mid 13s. If dodge can fix the issues these land yachts have,I can't image how much faster these i6s would be in lighter platforms.
@9663mu yes it’s very disappointing that gm hasn’t increased the Escalades horsepower in 10 years. That’s why they loose money. That’s why the Camaro was constantly out sold even though it was faster, lighter, and handled better than equivalent mustangs and challengers. They failed to compete with the horsepower
@@nicholaslaw3931doesn’t the Escalade V have 682hp?
@@pnwdweler4100 yes it does but the base Escalade has had the same horsepower for 10 years. They boosted the vette and camero v8 horsepower but didn’t change none of the base power in none of the body on frame v8s
@@nicholaslaw3931 Why would anyone in the market to buy a Camaro, Mustang, or Challenger be concerned with the HP of an Escalade..? The Escalade has literally only just become an actual sports SUV with the most recent generation. Before that it was just a cushioned barge besides appearance packages.
The entire new line of Lincolns and Cadillacs are KILLING every new line of vehicles out there. You can see a Lincoln or a Cadillac coming from miles away and you KNOW what it is💯🇺🇲
Definitely Cadillac designers are in a different realm. It's the only one of the 3 that looks mordern
Agreed! I have a ‘23 Escalade and it’s a beast. Luxurious, modern, beautiful. I wouldn’t change it for a Lincoln or a Jeep for many reasons. ❤
@jcosta6156 What's the gas mileage for your Escalade and do they come with V8's? What is the top trim you can get? I saw a white one with black rims and tinted windows with that black grill and black door handles and it was SUPREME💯 YOU cannot go wrong with Cadillac or Lincoln. The entire line of Ford trucks and Lincoln SUV's are made right down the street from me at the Ford Truck plant here in Louisville, Kentucky🐎❤️🤍💙 Gotta love American-made🇺🇸
I have a grand wagoneer series 3 with the hurricane engine. That race wouldn't be close ! But I enjoyed watching. Oh and interior lay out is amazing !! 13,000 miles and never a single issue with any screens or electronics
Yea and no dipstick to check oil in with
Yeah, I have a GW series 3 too, but with the 6.4. I haven’t had any issues yet either at about 23K miles. But if we’re being honest, we’re the exception. I’m waiting for something to happen. Lol. Love the car though!!
I have a ‘23 Navigator BL, it’s a beast. Pure luxury! The V would be a blast, but at that price might as well get a G63.
FACTS
You buy what you like not buy something for a name I did not get the comparison at alll
FACTS
@@SharkBoy87 y la g63 es mejor que la Lincoln?
The G63 is just name and power only! Very rough ride. The G550 is even worse with less power! Just think about this, my G63 has 577 hp while the Wagoneer I just rented for a business trip was getting 510hp. The G63 is just 67 more horsepower than a AMG G63. The interior in the Wagoneer is far more superior!
The rims on that navigator are a thing of beauty
I still love the Caddy, but great race🔥
Would like to have seen this race done with like years. I bet the Grand Wagoneer Twin Turbo wins all races.
I just had a grand wagoneer as a rental with the high output I6 and lord it had power. I was shocked at how much power it had. Had it for 2 weeks and never had any issues. Seemed to be a very nice vehicle.
Can’t sleep on ford this was a good one 💪🏼💯
A tune on that ecoboost would add an easy 80hp and 100tq.
Ford has factory tune upgrades with warranty, not sure if Lincoln did.
Pretty much every modern Turbo charged Engine can net plus 100tq when tuned. Manufactures balance the reliability to power when doing a stock config on a turbo engine. Tuning any Turbo engine will shorten the lifespan of the engine and the turbo in every case. There is no free lunch when it comes to Tuning a Turbo charged engines, it's a give and take, always.
The Grand Wagoneer with it's chrome looks like a hearse
Yep
I was gonna say a presidential limousine, but with Joe Biden in it, same difference.

@@stellaa1328Yeah Stella Oliver I agree with you that’s why you have a dodge dart
Grand wagoneer with that hemi 6.4l its still a beast
that wagoneer & navigator was quick .. back then these would’ve beaten almost everything in the mid 90-early 2000s
Ecoboost is the most proven twin turbo six in full-size trucks. I’d never buy new technology first or even second year out. (Wagoneer)Wasn’t even a thought for me, I have a Navigator. From a dig I knew it wouldn’t be a race. The others are nice but to each their own. I like my Gator.
If the Cadillac had a 8 speed would be more powerful. The 10 speed is for more refined Suvs. The Jeep is packing all of its torque in shorter gears.....But the Ecoboost is a beast. I know I have a Ecoboost Turbo🏆
I wrote last week in the polls that Navigator with the high output ecoboost id going to win. I had some folks arguing with me 😂.
the best sounding is the wagoneer!
After seeing this thumbnail I looked up the Escalade V. It's $198k in Canada. Next car Sam?
Too much of a car man. No need for it
Eco boost=beast!
Too bad you didn't have an Escalade V.
Why would u think that?
@@SamCarLegion Because the Escalade V would have walked the Ford and the Jeep with ease.
@@kenhiett5266 Escalade V is equivalent to Ford using a Raptor R engine with the supercharger v8. Lincoln doesn’t make an equivalent. v also costs $55-60k more than both the wagoner and navigator so it’s not apple to oranges comparison. raptor r supercharger will def win over the V.
@@jimmyneutron3055 If we brought the fastest version that all 3 auto manufacturers have to offer, the caddy would clean up. It's just a fact.
@@kenhiett5266 if they took the previous gen Escalade it would be the quickest. The current was made slower than the old one, So they can sell V with a baseless markup of 60k while not making it any better than previous gen
3:21 I was waiting for the specs of the Navigator
Why not use a 24 wagoneer with the H.O hurricane engine ?
If you keep watching you will know why
Just imagine the 2024 510hp @500lb-ft torque in the new Wagoneer hurricane engine! These SUV’s would not compare.
The Lincoln has the raptor engine.... It's a beast 💪
Nobody buys a monstrous SUV to beat another monstrous SUV in a drag race. The Cadi is the class of the 3, and a GM. Nuf said.
@@Matt-xv2cp facts that caddy is real quality to price compared to the other two brands.
You haven’t been inside a Grand Wagoneer series 3 have you. It’s nice. Really nice. And no, I didn’t say Wagoneer. I said Grand Wagoneer.
When I was a k8d in the 70's, most musclecars of the late 60's-early 70's were 14 second cars in stock configuration. U still have a couple of em, and it used to take a lot of modifications to get them below the low 13s.
High output Hurricane would have been more interesting to see.
The Grand Wagoneer has the most awkward styling, the chrome strips look like an afterthought. Chrome strips are all it has going for it. The Escalade looks way better and Lincoln nailed it back in 2017 so the Navigator has aged very well. Navigators usually age well, Ford/Lincoln just goes so long before a full redesign.
100% agree darling! They build the Lincolns in my city, Louisville, Kentucky 🇺🇲
Styling is subjective. I find the Navigator to be bland styling with zero angles. Plane Jane. The caddy looks the best with the styling angles and the GW the second best. If you don’t like come they offer the Obsidian with zero chrome. The Obsidian looks sinister and the best of the 3 in my subjective opinion.
@@imarkvideo styling is not subjective, liking it is though. it is just proportions of the lines which is maths and nothing more, Wagonner after the front doors looses cohesiveness.
@@EricFortuneJr. Wagoneer sales are better than the Escalade this year
Lincoln as my first choice Navigator .
Is it possible to race between the new Infiniti QX70 2017 and QX60 2023 ?
People that say “what’s the point”, are NOT car people. I have a K5 GT and I race just to race. Idc if the other car is faster. It’s just fun. And who wants a slow ass expensive automobile
Thats the spirit- we all kind of want to know our car’s capabilities. Plus why do they put sport mode in cars?
2019Jaguar F pace S and it's just walks all over those 5.7 charger hemis fun in a SUV
@@SamCarLegionfun is fun. When I get beat I still thumbs up the guy
I can almost bet with certainty that that Lincoln navigator was on 87 octane. It will run perfectly fine on 87, but you lose about 75 horsepower. That navigator is noticeably more powerful with 93 +. That EcoBoost pulls massive amounts of timing under boost, which also lowers the boost levels when it's on regular grade.
I have a 2022 Grand Wagoneer with 6.4L and have dog walked my in laws 2021 Navigator. Now they have a 2024 Escalade still no comparison to GW.
The GW needs to be tested with the hurricane engine. It’s quite a bit faster than the 6.4
I DRIVE A 2018 RESERVE L, 40,000. 4X4 Tow pkg. I drive with an imaginary jet pack. So smooth butter smooth at 75+ floating
How do they reach the ¼" mark without running out of fuel? Do you imagine having to push a building to the side of the road? (Just a comment for the stupid algorithm)
🤣🤣🤣🤣
That 10 speed helps tremendously over the 8 speed especially because of how heavy these vehicles these are
Ford always beat the s**t out of GM and Dodge Chrysler Jeep, when it comes to racing. As a matter of fact, Dodge realize that that Ford 3.5 V6 beat the s**t out of there so-called great hemi that they are getting rid of the hemi's and going to a V6 turbo as well.
I have the Nav L and I still smile when I mash the pedal.
Way to go Lincoln!!
The Escalade is the best. Can you do Escalade vs BMW X7 M60i
Anyone else notice when he races the Lincoln he didn’t push the gas all the way to the floor taking off on the dig just listen to the jeeps engine tone when they take off from a dig
"Like racing houses" ha-ha !
The Escalade wasn’t even revving very high by the sound of it. Was it in the best mode for acceleration runs? How about manually shifting the transmission? I’m surprised the Cadillac really didn’t do better. All 3 vehicles are out of my league money wise, they’re too expensive.
The Lincoln Navigator looks absolutely beautiful.
I drove a Wagoneer with a 57 L hemi. There’s a button on the consul toll hall, push it, the 5.7 Comes to life is a different beast then
EcoBeast 😈
If i ever buy a used Gr. Wagoneer im blacking out all the chrome then itll look alot better, ive seen it done
The Escalade is beautiful in every way.
Should have used the inline 6 version
Curious why you didn't use a new Jeep? It has the I6 with 510hp.
If you pay attention you would know why
Best comment lol. It was only mentioned about 15 times in the video why he didn’t use one of those.
@@SamCarLegion Or if your video was interesting enough to watch long enough to hear you say it. Try telling us that in the 1st couple of minutes. No one can make it thru the whole video as boring as it is.
Lovin that Lincoln
Thanks for the video
That Navi should have more sales in my opinion....such a top notch interior and that 3.5 is a beast. The Cadillac has a boring interior but looks good and ditto for the V Blackwing and i drove the Grand Wagoneer as a rental. Its fast but seemed unstable at high speeds and made me nervous.
I own an Escalade and recently rented a GW on a 3 week work assignment. The GW with the Hurricane engine . The GW drove better in both straight line and handling. The Escalade is a fine driving vehicle for its size and weight but the GW didn’t have the shudder and was more stable at any speed. Much smoother and when put into sport mode the GW’s body role disappeared. The GE had a nicer interior, especially from the 2nd and 3rd row perspective. The only thing I loved about the Escalade was Super Cruise which the GW doesn’t offer and is a deal breaker for me.
The jeep engine sounds SUPER GOOD
The new 3.0 I-6 in the Ram and the GW is shockingly quick and will outperform the 3.5 Ecoboost (obviously more power). Whether or not it proves reliable, only time will tell.
I think we know the answer to this question at least initially. Only Lease the Jeep.
I6 vs V6. I6s run smoother and therefore don’t have balancing shafts.
I still haven't seen a single Wagoneer on the road.
Seen plenty in my small town
Which state are you located. I live in NY. Ever since the release of the Wagoneer and luxury Grand Wagoneer in late 2022, I've seen quite of few of them on the road. In addition to that, last year in 2023 the extended length version for both the Wagoneer and Grand Wagoneer got released. So far, I think I've seen the extended length version either twice or three times. So, the vehicles are out there.
I've seen tons
Many are in the shop getting fixed.
Well that's great, its ugly AF
I had a 200 pound 2.2 liter turbo charged (10 pound waste gate) SAAB Viggen 20 years ago……how can an engine w just one liter more displacement propel a vehicle of over 6k lbs?
the 510hp inline 6 jeep would destroy the navigator by truck lengths! very impressed with the jeep! being the heaviest it still beat the twin turbo lincon on a roll and was reeling it in at the 1/4mile mark.. also impressed how it out launched the eco boost off the line as well lol.
The in-line 6 Jeep would certainly destroy the Navigator, until it breaks down 1 year later
@@04mach1speed Why is that? Is that Engine that bad?
@@genderlessyoutubefanpersonI've been on watch with the wagoneers only because I like the I6 and have been looking into them as much as possible. Most I've heard is that they have majorly had electronic issues that plague these and that dodge has a thermostat issues plaguing I6 model that end up melting and causing engines to blow or have other issues overtime. There are some that have been issue free but the amount of horror stories from owners or those even trying to fix issues with them is super bad. I'll say, this will become super prominent once the hurricane 1500s come about.

Love the ZF transmission
As a way too poor 62 year old, if I could afford one of these machines it’d never get raced! But I sure like the video!
Whats so funny is the Grand Wagoneer looks more like an Expedition ever since it was made.
Ford. Copied Jeep for years.
Would have loved to see these go against the B58 X7 (X7 xDrive40i). The M60i X7 (with the V8) would obliterate these three, so the B58 would be more interesting.
Different class (and less mass) than these behemoths, so of course they would.

Anything smaller than these three SUVs with a 3rd row seat are a joke.
Nice to see proper 3-row SUVs. I like the Caddy and Jeep the best, the Nav could use a refresh.
Yet people buy those other 3 row SUVs. Yes you have to alternate between trunk and a 3 row seat. But they have a place on the market. I would still take the MDX over these. I don't want to drive a house.
@@downsouthlouisiana These 3 are way out of my budget and that's why I drive a Tahoe. While MDX is a cute little cross-over, I needed something with cargo room and that can tow almost as much as a 1/2 ton pickup..
I sat in the 3rd row of my Tahoe just for kicks and I can honestly say there would be no way I could sit back there for more than 10 miles without feeling claustrophobic. Hence my post about little cross-overs with 3 rows.
There might be a market for 3 row cross-overs but I have yet to see one where there's two heads inches away from the real glass when I'm following one down the freeway.
