You can say anything you like about Chinese cars but one thing is for sure, and that is there is no way that American or European manufacturers can ever compete with the quality and prices they are being sold for. ❤ Good Video by the way, but I would be happier if you have tell the proces and some details summerized at once.
Those Chinese car manufacturers knew the prejudice of the global consumers, so they provided some pretty sincere and crazy offerings. What an exciting time we live in.
there is no prejudice of global consumers. CHinese people were reluctant to buy chinese cars for years because they werent good, just as korean cars werent good until they developed more. I feel sorry for you and your awful thinking, because you are thinking the worst of others when the only person with toxic thinking is you. Now the chinese quality control, design, and engineering and price point has improved, the cars are selling. I am not sure why you would expect outsiders to buy chinese cars when until very recently even chinese people would caution against it. i just feel sorry for you.
Thats the difference in real competition unlike the one in EU where there are like 4 big companies owning the whole market. They put out a car and say this is what you get, deal with it. Now when the chinese is on the map they can´t do that ever again. They need to fight for the consumers.

Awesome video Ethan! Thank you so much for sticking it out with a sore throat, feet and back. Your coverage of the Guangshou Auto Show is fantastic and your energy and enthusiasm is terrific.
The Chinese automotive industry is just crazy. There are so many brands and subbrands, it's just too much. ;) However, they have actually shown some great cars. I would really like to know which brand is China's OG/legacy brand. Great video. I can't wait to see reviews of shown cars :)
I do like EV's but nostalgia takes over when I see the BJ212 new model. it looks great in this color and great in general. I remember the old one. always liked the design and for 20k, it is a steal. The Baojun yep is pretty cool.... and it does not need a violent mode
The U7's electromagnetic active suspension is one thing I would love to see a deep dive on. In addition being better at all the typical active suspension tasks, they claim that it regenerates energy to charge the battery from going over bumps.
Always a great review from you, Ethan. What a fabulous range of models there, they're stunning, Way to go China. After seeing this, legacy auto is totally screwed.
Excellent presentation and delivery of facts as usual. All I can say is . . . Clearly, GM is the EV leader, as Mary Barra says. You too would say it for $30 Million Dollars per year, true or not.
Okay, we know they can make fast EVs, but honestly, who needs to be able to go from 0-100 in 4 seconds. The Chinese can make super cool EV designs, they have overtaken both the USA and the EU in their design and not least prices (the EU's car manufacturers have then chosen to buy lobbyists who can persuade the super stupid politicians about a narrative that is about political support , as if the EU does not also send support money to European car production). Well, good videos you make, I am super interested in all the fantastic news that the Chinese are sending out to the market (unfortunately, not as many as we would like to see in Denmark). we have grown tired of the boring designs that VW, Mercedes, Audi and VW offer us, and not to forget the super boring manufacturer from the USA with him the clown as CEO.
How the hell could the western nations criticize China for cannibalizing their auto market??? Cannibalize something that doesn't even exist in the western markets?? What a laugh😂🤣😂😂

i swear to god you can't ever not compare any Chinese car that bears a superficial resemblance to another car. the N9 doesn't even look like a range rover FFS
As soon as I saw the side profile, before he even said it, I said to myself I thought the Chinese brands had moved away from copying the western designs. Clearly influenced by the new range rover.
It was basically just standing there behind "red tape" so to speak and nobody was allowed hands on with either the Nurburing (howerever it's spelled) nor the one available for purchase. I think you'll need to wait for them to get a hands on with it instead.
