I tell ya, as a high school kid when 'Break the Cycle' came out, it felt like they were singing right to me. "Outside" was my song for a long time.
Dude, same here. Outside, pressure and for you were my anthems back in the day. Pressure especially described my school Experience in a nutshell.
I still have that album on 💿 from back in the day. Still works great.
yup, i believed that too, "Outside" was designed for me directly :)
Love Staind 23 years
Staind, Linkin Park, Limp Bizkit, Korn, Slipknot, Taproot, Adema, V Shape Mind, and Mudvayne got me though middle school and high school. Discovered post hardcore and deathcore when I graduated but I'll always look back and say Staind had the biggest impact on me.
OMG FINALLY... One of my childhood favorite bands is coming BACK BOII
I've hung out with them tons backstage and out in the community
Most of the shows are canceled. I think this was a April fools joke. I was super psyched and was going to buy tickets, but found out almost every show has been canceled.
@@Vestner262 i beg you "WTF"? Are you serious?!?
@@jadedecay9592 Yeah, super confusing. There's only like two shows that haven't been canceled. This is supposedly a "virtual" concert.
@@Vestner262 well shit...
Saw staind in 1999 with filter, limp bizkit, primus and wu tang. Incredible.
I saw that same tour. it was Family Values 99, except we saw them on the other leg of it.
Staind, Limp Bizkit, Run DMC, Filter & The Crystal Method
I saw Wu Tang with Rage Against The Machine in Pittsburgh... (1998).
possibly best concert EVER...
Family Values 99 I went to the Philly show. It was Staind,Mobb Deep, Run DMC, Filter, and Limp Bizkit. I was 14 and it was my first concert
That’s a gdam concert
The Family Values Tour!!!! HELL YES!!! 🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘
As a lyricist I remember the first time I heard the line, “I still remember just the way you taste!” And I had a flashback of every ex-loveofmylife and how that simple phrase was built on so many layers of complexity. I’ve been in love with Aaron and Staind ever since. I’m not being bias when I say this is going to be MOMENTOUS!
Can’t wait !!!!
Taste Like Red Snapper....Smells like Salmon....
Baa haa haa!
Wow no one cares.
This is one of my childhood bands.... And they are coming back man...... Im so glad because "Its been awhile".
Welcome back.
they played a bunch of shows and festivals in 2019, i saw them at Louder Than Life and their set was awesome
Awesome I wish my mama hadn't passed last year, she would be more thrilled than even I am... I will blast it to the skies when it releases for her. Believe
She’s looking down jamming
❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
She will be looking down smiling. Hope she is partying with my mom up there, good taste in music means I'm sure they would get along
I believe there is a special area designated for the truly connected with music to jam out. With that said, I'm confident they rock out together.. peace brother
💯 I'm sure she is thrilled!
Can’t wait to get cussed out by Aaron when they come to town
😂 RIGHT
Saw Staind for the first in 1999 in Virginia Beach at the Lunatic Luau. Went out and bought Dysfunction the next day.
In 2010, me and a buddy had just come back from Iraq and we were headed to Austin from Fort Hood. He needed to go to the Travis County Clerks office for some reason. Something about his car. Anyway, the whole way there we talked about our families, our wives, our kids, what the future holds now that we were back home, the whole time listening to STAIND. When SO FAR AWAY came on, we stopped talking and just started singing at the top of our lungs. That was a fun day and all we did was go to the courthouse, got some lunch, sang like retards, and went back home.
He would be dead not long after from cancer. Anytime SO FAR AWAY comes on....I remember him.
I can’t wait to see Staind do their thing again. RIP Lupe Maldonado. I miss you, bro.
Thanks for sharing that story. That is an awesome memory to have! Thank you both for serving. RIP to your friend. ✌
He's with you everyday, crazy how music can take you places and make you feel a connection. No matter how far away removed you are from the memories. Theyre alive every time you turn the dial up. My condolences to you and god bless you and the mans family.
Thanks for sharing and thank you for your service young man.
RIP soldier and thank you for sharing a piece of your memory. 🇺🇸
Thank you for sharing!
"The Corner" Is still one of the realist and deepest songs in history
FACTS.
In history? Dude listen to more music 😂
They all are great
4 walls
epiphany is definetly my favorite song glad teyre back in these sad times
Staind is and always will be one of the best bands ever to come out in music history.
Damn right
I think the reason their music is so good is cause it's sincere and comes from the heart, I can relate to their lyrics more than most bands.
Yassss! ❤️❤️❤️
amen.'
I wore a Staind shirt in high school cuz I had the debut album and I think I ended up taking the secret track and cutting off the excess on it so it became 4 minutes and somethin instead of the longer one. Still got some tracks in my library. Love these guys 🎵📀🤟❤️
The ONLY band that can go deep down in my soul and make me feel alive. 🌙🖤
please Staind, save our music industry with your masterpieces work. we badly need guys like you guys rite now
They got me through a lot of dark times, welcome back, but was never forgotten!..🤘🏼🤘🏼”MUDSHOVAL”!!!
Wait seriously??? I swear I’m mind blown I’ve listened to SOOOO much Staind again lately and now THIS? Let’s go man!!! ROCK
I am so thankful to have grown up in the 90's. Music today will never be like it was before.
Shut up
And that's a good thing. Music then was good, music now is good.
@@MongoJoe7863 facts. There’s good music everywhere and in any point in time. but all these boomers are too lazy to look for it, and reside back to “WeLL mUSic WaS beTtEr bAcK thEN aNd mOdDeRN mUsIc iS bAD
@@zachwillowbay1553 Coming on here and telling someone to shut up because of their opinion is childish. I never said all music today isn't good. I am just thankful I grew up with the music I did. I can tell from your profile that you had bad taste in music, so before you try to leave incompetent replies on my comment, maybe you should check yourself.
@@zachwillowbay1553 yeah, no one likes mumble rap. its embarrassing now and youll be embarrassed in a few decades that you ever even listened to it.
Two bands got me through school and I still listen to them all the time. One is Staind and the other is Korn.
Same. Korn got me through early teenage years, and Staind with early adulthood.
Uhhhhhh …not really Korn but Staind all the way! …I totally dig the singer’s voice!
I grew up on Dysfunction and Break the Cycle. This is amazing.
The one band that I could listen to in whatever mood I'm in.. I'm 40 and this will forever be one of my favourite bands. Never saw staind live but I did Aaron Lewis alone in Jax, FL forever memorable.. I hope they tour here again🙏. I'll buy tickets the second they go live.. they're fixing to bring out the older crowd on this one for sure.
May not be just the "older crowd" my daughter thinks their great, she thinks current music sucks, she is not the only youngster I have heard say that either
@@deanfirnatine7814 oh no, my 21 year old daughter loves them and so does my 11 yr old son. Thank goodness some of our children have taste in music. Lol
you don't understand how your music has impacted my life!! I saw this and broke down because I've been waiting for your comeback for years!!! Absolutely love every single song you have!!🤘🤘🎶🎶🙏🙏
I watched him play “Outside” in Memphis in 2001 I believe....I was probably 7 or 8 feet from him. We sang the chorus back to him.... he stopped and smiled... I’ll never ever forget seeing that. It was incredible. 💙
1999 At the New Daisy it was my introduction to them.
If they make another album as heavy as Dysfunction, then I will be thrilled!
Self-titled was much heavier
@@smittythagreat93
No it wasn't lol it was OK tho
According to Aaron Lewis last night, they've just finished recording the new album.
The chills hearing "It's been a while" at the end... One of my favorite songs, that been with me through tough times...
Welcome back, Staind, much love!! ❤️
OMGOSH no way!!! I'm from central Iowa and it looks like I'm gonna have to make a road trip to the Springfield, Illinois State Fair❤️
About time their back. Ready for live shows in person

I discovered you with "so far away" in a tribute to Mike Foley. I had listen all your songs... somedays i'd like to have a small Aaron on the corner of my living room. Like a radio, just singing with his guitar... I hope that Zoe Jane is now a beautiful woman because this song touch me. Kisses from France. It's been a while... J'ai grandi avec vos chansons. Ca me fait plaisir de savoir que vous revenez. Envoyez du lourd!!!
Yes!!!!!! That return show at Foxwoods was amazing! !!!!! So glad I was there!✊👍🎸✌
AWESOME!!
Looks like all of my old Staind t-shirts are about to come out of storage. Welcome BACK!!
I remember seeing Staind at the WAAF BFD in some way out of the fucking way town in Massachusetts the summer before they got big. Who'd a thought a local band would become a national act basically overnight.
Staind is my all time favorite band. I’ve seen them in Birmingham, AL. Columbus, GA, and watched Aaron perform an acoustic solo at the Saenger theater in Pensacola, FL. After every show this band leaves you wanting more of them. Great decision to get back together to do this. I remember the family values tour and the first time I heard Staind 20 something years ago. I hope I get the opportunity to see them again soon....
Can't frigging wait!!!
Last I've seen him was in 2012 and I was memorized. First time ever hearing Something to remind me. It was at Uproar in syracuse NY. Man he's amazing.
The. Boys. Are. Back.
