I respect Aaron as an artist, but I'm personally more of a staind fan. I've seen them twice live and both times were awesome! Btw, rock feed brought me here!
Actually I’m both into American Hard Rock/Heavy Metal & Country music so I frankly enjoy & Respect Aaron’s amazing talents for giving both respective genres a necessary shot in the arms within the industry; speaking of which, my favorite songs of his are “Country Boy” , “Party in Hell” & the self explanatory “That Ain’t Country”👦 🤩 😻🥲 ✊ 😉 😊 ☺️ 🎶 🎼 🎵 🤘 🇺🇸 On a side note, I actually remember that after many unfruitful tries, when Staind was ready to release their self titled last album, guitarist Mike Mushok was finally given the long awaited opportunity to come alive & bust loose as the amazing Lead Guitarist that he definitely is, and it PAYED OFF 🎸 📝
What draws me to Aaron Lewis is his sing writing abilities. He writes most of his music that resonates to millions of people. Since his crossover to country, I grew to appreciate his talent both rock and country. And we have been to 4-5 concerts of his and never been disappointed. I will always be fan of Aaron Lewis!
@@carlosjtorotorres5451 Thank you for mentioning Mike. He is easily one of the most underrated guitar players of the last 30 years. I don’t think anyone feels the pain in their lyrics while they sing like Aaron does. He often looks like he’s going to burst into tears. His range is amazing. He can go straight from a harsh high pitch scream into soft quiet singing and back and forth. I was lucky to see him live in a bar in 2010.

Hampton Beach Casino was visited by many a great musician in that area. I grew up in Concord and remember the days of Aerosmith playing small local venues. Good times!
I was working a Staind show as a stagehand sometime around 2008 here in Virginia Beach. I remember sitting during a lunchbreak on the loading dock backstage between some road cases and saw/heard Mike Mushok working on a new riff just a few feet from me. Aaron Lewis walked over and Mushok asked him to sit down. The two of them jammed for a few minutes on guitars before they went off somewhere. I have no idea what song it turned into, whether or not it was ever recorded, and probably wouldn't recognize it if I heard it again, but it was cool to see and hear the creative process in action. I kept my mouth shut, not speaking a word, and laid low between the road cases. I doubt they even knew I was there and, if they did, they couldn't care less. That was a good day at work.
they knew you were there. performers love an audience (preferrably a quiet, attentive audience vs. the loud-mouth drunks they have to play to in concert)
Aaron Lewis' music helped me through my darkest times. Favorite Staind song is tough to think of. I love their whole catalog. As for the solo country career, Lost and Lonely is just too beautiful

My wife and I see him every time he comes to town, which is at least once a year... Just a phenomenal live show, whether he's with Stand or by himself...
Aaron Lewis got me to listening to Texas and Red dirt country and I discovered that I had been missing out on some great music. I grew up listening to the greats with my Dad. With Bob Wills and Earnest Tubb being my first live concert. I was very young. As I became a teenager in the 80's I rebelled and got into Rock and Roll Saw many great bands including Stevie Ray Vaughn, Van Halen, the Scorpions, Kiss, and Def Leppard just to name a few. Having a family and working on the road i didn't get to make very many concerts later on, but constantly listened to music. Couldn't stand rap, or hip hop country, and one night I came across Aaron doing some country songs. After that the rest is history, I live in Texas and we have a great live music scene, especially in the summer. I will be seeing him in Amarillo in August.
It’s 2024 and he’s still putting out bangers. If you have the chance to see him perform you won’t be disappointed. He loves America and doesn’t give a damn if you get offended by the truth or not. God bless Aaron Lewis.
Best singer-songwriter alive! In my favorite since 1999! Aaron's music has saved me many times has inspired me to write my own songs and pursue this dream! I had the chance to meet him once and thanked him. Very humble guy from my home state

Aaron Lewis was what brought me back to country music that my dad listene to as I grew up. Aaron Lewis opened the doors for many real country performers that are in the business to not be told by corparate execs what to play. This is a message that the American people need to understand. I am a big fan of country music but I enjoy taking a break from country with a little rock on occasion. Either way I think Aaron Lewis has a great voice.
The guy can write and has an amazing voice. I think the success of Staind allowed him to transition to Country and do it his way cause he doesn't need the money. Regardless, I am a huge fan of everything he does. Very talented man.
"Country Boy (Acoustic Version)", "Party In Hell", "Sunday Every Saturday Night" and his cover of "Whiskey & You" are my all-time favorite songs from him so far. I've been a huge fan of Staind since 2000, but once I heard "Country Boy" in 2012, he officially turned me on to country music. Aaron Lewis--whether you like him or not--is one of the most important, one-of-a-kind voices in music today. But hey, that's just, like, my opinion, man. 😎
Saw him last night in Gardnerville NV. He seems very much down to earth. A regular man who makes a living playing guitar and singing. Very humble experience.
Aaron Lewis is a real man and a great musician who deserves more than he's getting. Compare him to somebody like Taylor Swift and there's no comparison he is so much better!
he likes to tell his audience what he likes to hear. the only thing he ever did for this country was whine about his dad behind an electric guitar and now he whines about liberals behind an acoustic guitar.
As a berkshire native, his song Massachusetts is one I hold dear to my heart. I moved down south for a number of years and Aaron Lewis music got me through being away from home. A fellow Masshole. FjB
Staind songs were therapy for me in my teenage years, and gave me something to relate. I still listen to all those old songs and feel every word, every drum hit, every bass slap. Timeless
I have seen Staind over 20 times and Aaron Lewis solo at least 10 times. (Staind w/ Korn and Aaron twice in 2021). My favorite song is Am I the only one and Spleen for Staind. My wife and I had our 1st dance at our wedding to Tangled up in you. My best story is was I was asked by a friend to meet him @ a local casino for drinks and to my surprise, there was a stool and a guitar sitting next to the bar and about 20 min later Aaron walked it... He played for about an hour or so. It was PHENOMENAL!!!!
I grew up on the other side of Spfld Mass from Aaron and am a HUGE fan!! I knew Chris, he came over to my house one day an jammed for us....Best Time of my life! Love Everything Aaron does!! He's a TRUE AMERICAN!! 🇺🇲💯👍💖🎸😁 Maybe one day I'll get one of my bucket list things erased by meeting Aaron!! 👍🎸💯🇺🇲😁👍
I love and respect Aaron Lewis. It was not until I heard Am I the Only One that I discovered him. I’m sorry I missed his journey but I am definitely following him now. I not only think he has one of the best vocals I’ve ever heard but respect his courage and his values. I am in love with Aaron Lewis as a man and musician. God Bless You Aaron and Thank You!
Been with Aaron since Break the Cycle and I gotta say he is one of the best. He writes from the heart and he has a superb sound. The simplicity of his playing is not be looked down upon either, it's solid and clean and without a doubt a great crossover artist. I would go see him under any genre.
I really enjoy your storytelling ability and the pro way it is done , great job. I subscribed to hear more narratives like this. I am and always be a big Aaron Lewis / Staind fan, but not a big country guy. He changed my mind. Keep it up , we need more content like this
Aaron is one of the few who did it his way from day one. he is more than a rock star or country star. in my opinion he is the lone wolf of modern music.
I've been a LONG time fan of Aaron Lewis. Doesn't matter if it's him being in Staind or his solo country stuff, I love it all. The guy is talented as all get out. I will always love what he does for as long as I live.
in the mid 90's, friends and I would go to the small bars in Springfield and watch them play cover tunes, absolutely awesome shows. so glad they made it big
Great summary of Aaron Lewis’ career and evolution. I was a big Staind fan but am a bigger Aaron Lewis solo fan. “Tangled Up In You” was my first dance with my wife at our wedding. “Am I The Only One” literally brought me to tears about what’s happening to my country and is a wake up call to America.
I love both the Staind and his country stuff. Am I the Only One really speaks out to me though. If any red blooded American doesn't agree with everything in that song, they're either stupid or blind...
I am an AAron Lewis fan, Staind or Solo. He is incredibly talented. There are not many artists you can see live the sound just like a recording. he is the Bomb!
Aaron Lewis is the reason why I love country music now, I never was a fan I usually listen to rock or metal and of course Staind being one of the many, and when I discovered he did a country song I was blown away. He's such an amazing lyricist and singer and his latest album Frayed at Both Ends I must say is the Country album of the year.
When I first heard Aaron was starting a solo country career I didn’t know much about him. Other than a few staind songs I’ve heard. I rolled my eyes. I thought it was gonna be another Steven Tyler deal. Cashing in on the country hype. God I’m sure glad I was wrong. He’s now one of my favorite country artists.
There's more Outlaws in county music then there has ever been you just aren't looking in the right places the independent country artists are carrying on that tradition proudly into the future!

HEY NANCY IN TEXAS SIGNING IN LOVE LOVE HIS MUSIC OOXOOXXXO
His range of songs is AMAZING. Plus he is so human.
mudshovel was the first stained song I Heard. fell in love with the band at that song.
Simply put!!! Perfect video, great watch man, thank you 🙏🏼
I equally like the whole Aaron Lewis experience. Great in concert, cant wait to see him in St Louis again TRUE PATRIOT!
The concert that "Outside live" was recorded at is where he wrote the final version if outside and he wrote it on stage.
Yes, he had the chorus done but freestyled everything else. Fred pushed him to do so that night.
Been with Aaron since Break the Cycle and I gotta say he is one of the best. He writes from the heart and he has a superb sound. The simplicity of his playing is not be looked down upon either, it's solid and clean and without a doubt a great crossover artist. I would go see him under any genre.
yes. the voice is electrifying. on acoustic guitar he has no peers
same here!
Been a fan since staind started and a fan still today. Laid back no fucks given true to his roots.
Dysfunction and Break the Cycle got me through some shit man..... God bless this man.
I really enjoy your storytelling ability and the pro way it is done , great job. I subscribed to hear more narratives like this. I am and always be a big Aaron Lewis / Staind fan, but not a big country guy. He changed my mind. Keep it up , we need more content like this
Aaron Lewis is an amazing and talented artist! Absolutely love his music!
I loved this video. Thank you . I knew this guy back early 2000’s great guy. True American
We need more Aaron Lewis and Kid Rock's
Yesssss!!!! Let’s Goooo!!
Tom Macdonald is a true story teller too. Only rap but it's great!
in the mid 90's, friends and I would go to the small bars in Springfield and watch them play cover tunes, absolutely awesome shows. so glad they made it big
No matter what he sings he kills it. Amazing love him and his music.. so I feel safe to say aaron lewis is the BEST of the BEST❤❤
Like both, but more an Aaron Lewis fan. His acoustic tour was amazing. His songs speaks to your soul.
It's nice to see you used a segment from my video in this. It's probably the top suggested video after this video. Y'all enjoy.
Thank you! 🙏
I love both the Staind and his country stuff. Am I the Only One really speaks out to me though. If any red blooded American doesn't agree with everything in that song, they're either stupid or blind...
It's been a while absolutely my favorite Staind, and Am I the Only One is my absolute favorite of any songs right now.
Hi Bailey, I very much like how Aaron is himself. He likes what he likes.
Been following Aaron since 1997, he has gotten me through some.tough times. My favorite artist ever Staind and solo he is the best!
One of my favorite artists from day one.
I love this man! Aaron Lewis is a legend in my book! I love what he stands for and I love his music!
NANCY IN TEXAS AND WE ARE SOO GLAD YOU KEPT SINGING
Same age ,same upbringing ,same political beliefs , gotta love this guy.
lol...HE WAS A RICH KID....
Am I the only one makes me tear up ❤🙏🇺🇸 Thank you Aaron Lewis you’re right up there.👏
Am I the Only One! my fav by far.
Granddaddies Gun is a great song and watching the video can bring me to tears thinking about my pop and grandpa
There's more Outlaws in county music then there has ever been you just aren't looking in the right places the independent country artists are carrying on that tradition proudly into the future!
