chester’s technique is so effortless, one of the greatest vocalist of our generation and no one will ever be able to fill this void. we’re so lucky we had you, i hope you are in a better place now and you’re finally at peace, you are dearly missed…
Hey Chester, it's 20 October 2024 and nothing is changed. I'm still here listening, and forever will be. I miss you and I can relate to every feeling you ve been through. Love
Those were the golden days!!! everybody was just minding their own business singing with the band and enjoying the experience! They watch the concert for the sole purpose of enjoyment. nowadays people watch concerts for the pics and videos. its like everyone is seeking everyone's attention!
I wanted to give her a chance. She's yelling. They take multiple breaks. She reads all her lines on the stage guides or doesn't sing them at all. I could go on & on They're all going to have sore backs lol
This concert is proof that Chester really was one of the very best vocalists to ever live. His range, his technique, his style, his charisma, pretty much in a league of his own, and more importantly, a beautiful soul. I still find it hard not to tear up listening to his songs. The most important person in my life I never met personally. Rest in peace, friend.
M4RCi92 I met him, he seemed like a nice bloke. I showed him some photos of penguins I'd taken, because that was what I fucking about on my camera with when he asked if he could sit at the table I was sitting. He googled Rockhoppers because he thought that the photos I showed him of them had been 'shopped'.
@@stuartjenkins3039 Ahhh, that’s a nice Pen-grin story 💗 I’ve allus had a thing for penguins, ever since the bit in Mary Poppins where Dick Van Dyke pulls down his undies and up his pants to mimic the cartoon ones in that dance 🤣 I was always really upset when my pants didn’t do that 🥴 and I was upset coz no matter how much I laughed I couldn’t stick to the ceiling. Nothing is impossible when ure a kid, why grow up Eh? I loved the part in his speech at the last gig at Birmingham, where he says, to defeat hate you just have to ignore it, then love the person next to you, can we all turn to the person next to us to say, I’m really happy you are here with me enjoying the music 💗 it was his response to the Manchester bomb tragedy, he also said he was wearing his bee earrings to show his support as a sign of strength for the city 🐝 said wouldn’t take them out until all this madness stops 💔 None of us could have known how true that would be 😭Bless him 🙏 May his light still shine bright from that tear in my heart, coz who cares? I DO!!! 🙏 Rest with peace MrB 💞 Ü made such a difference, Tx 💖 ((🐝🎁)) 🙏 ;xD

Chester gives me melodies in my dreams that can become hits. I live in another country and I would like to show these melodies from my dreams to those who can bring them to completion.
chevy I’ve been feeling this way since 2004! A friend of mine just gave me their cd/dvd to this & honestly Linkin Park along with Evanescence were the first bands I cared to listen to that wasn’t rap! A cousin of mine told me that music is more than just what rappers back then talked about in their songs! But yeah a big part of me still wishes I could go back to see this! Even if I went alone..... RIP CHESTER BENNINGTON! Thank you
i've never seen a singer that added so many extra screams to his live performances as Chester did...he just had so much anger to let out it was never ending. WOW. one of a kind dude
I'm 62 years old saw my first concert in 1974 have seen more shows than I can count, biggest regret never seeing these guys live, guess thats why I can't stop watching them here. GOD BLESS CHESTER, REST IN PEACE BROTHER!!!
As a devoted fan, I find it difficult to put into words just how much your music has meant to me over the years. Your songs have been a constant source of inspiration, comfort, and strength during both the highs and lows of my life. Your unique blend of powerful lyrics, innovative sound, and raw emotion has always resonated deeply with me. Each album, from "Hybrid Theory" to "One More Light," has been a journey that I’ve cherished. Your ability to address themes of struggle, hope, and resilience has not only provided solace but also empowered me to face my own challenges. Chester's voice, with its incredible range and emotion, touched my soul in ways few others have. His legacy continues to live on through your music, reminding us all of the importance of empathy and understanding. Thank you, Linkin Park, for creating music that speaks to the heart and for being a beacon of hope for so many. Your impact on my life is immeasurable, and I am eternally grateful for the art you share with the world.
because when dealing with mental illness, it makes you to feel each and every excruciating emotion and it can channel it though singing. he definitely uses ever ounce of his voice to show us that.
This performance is legendary. The sound quality and editing is just incredible but Linkin Park was really at their top game here. I've watched this concert so many times.
When i was 12 my mom gave me this DVD as a birthday gift. Watching this show after 15 years with tears in my eyes, i remember every scream of him, i watched this show so many times. Feels like i'm in a time machine. So sad that he's gone forever
Hes on that DVD, dont scratch it g. I feel you. I seen them at a fest and stayed in thr back... worse idea ever, his vocals rocked the horse track from front to back
@@bigcity420 I mean that's simply not true, Chester was human and had his share of bad performances like anyone who ever got behind a microphone. He's my favorite and I will forever miss him and cherish his music and his memory but EVERY artist has had bad performances.
The performances, the recording, the mixing, the mastering, the cinematography, the setlist, the nuances from Reanimation added... Still their best live recording.
RIP Chester... This live album got me through high-school, and I will NEVER forget the impact you had on my life. I'm truly heartbroken, yet proud to live in those best times!!!!
Man this is absolutely the best show they ever did, the setlist is absolutely amazing from beginning to end, and everyone put their entire being into it. We will never get something like this again, and i am so happy it is preserved for everyone to enjoy.
I was 10yo in 2000 when I got hybrid theory for my birthday. Here it is almost 20 years later and Its Definitely one of the most impactful gifts I've ever received after. Thank you Linkin Park! If Linkin Park has impacted you then please share your story and keep this thing going.
I know how that is man my older brother bought hybrid theory CD and ever since then I was hooked and when meteora came out I bought the CD and received one for Christmas one of the best bands ever
Peanut butter Melon muffin same here.. I bought linkin park cd in year 2000... when i was 6years old. I still remember it was meteora and i in love with it untill now .. i miss chester 😭 my bucket list before i die is to see linkinpark live .. I couldn’t make it..

You can get good at just about everything, I think Chester was Great because he had real Rage rooted in trauma from being emotionally murdered as an innocent child. #💀2pedos
Chester was the soul of Linkin Park. No matter Who they put in his place is never going to be the same. Today is October 18th 2024 and I still miss you Chester.
Not taking anything away from LP, but there are plenty of bands that fit that description just as well as them. And it’s mostly Chester’s vocals, instrumentally they’re okay.
Yes one poor child used abused just to whorship horus oh shinoda see you laughin these days is funny i m safe too i lost one to not sacrificate but he poor guy was just programma è like that i know well i m the same a worst childhood so no one but i love see them here still not pretendin

Hey chester its October 23ed 2024 and i am still here for you.. you still remind me of my struggle that i went through and listening your songs remind me how i got out of those shallow thoughts of mine.. u are forever part of my inner voice…
the fact you´ve been listening to this band for 17 years, watched every show online or attended some, been emotionaly interested in those guys... best friend you´ve never met, its understandable
1 in a million voice. It's so difficult to reach those screams in such a raw way and still have those clean, soft melodies at the same time. And then imagine doing it night after night. Thank you Chester for all you gave to us.
It's amazing how he could hit those hard screams in the taw way he does & then do the foft easy melodies like he does. "Crawling" & "In the End" are good examples!
Yesterday's presentation by Emily only reminded me that Chester is no longer here, which is why many of us are going back to these old videos to calm that absence a little.😢
Watched this after seeing clips of Chester singing in social media. Seeing everybody else still listening to you makes me emotional. Thank you Chester.
chester screams are my medication when my head is blurry and nothing seems so real anymore. when i hear your songs it brings me back to my senses and keeps me from hurting myself. thank you so much. keep rocking in heaven bro.
The energy that Chester put into his performance is unmatched. Jumping off of speakers and singing his heart out is truly an amazing site to see. The band always made fans feel like they were part of the band especially when they would invite them up on stage to play with them or chester screaming into the mic right in front of fans faces. This band has touched so many hearts and will forever touch mine. RIP to a legend and much love to the rest of the band who gave us some of the best music in history. Still listening as if it were my first time in 2023
ABSOLUTELY FEEL THE SAME!!! There is ABSOLUTELY NO WAY to match Chester's voice & Shinoda's rap like singing along with Chester's!! LEGENDS TO SAY THE LEAST EASILY!!!
I can't really explain the pain and sadness I felt when Chester left us. How these guys have been a part of me and this generation it's incredible, they put the music to our souls growing up and even as adults. I'm glad I'll always be able to comeback every time I need it, for this intense feeling of good nostalgia, thank you Linkin Park, thank you Chester Bennington. Forever loved, missed and heartbroken.
I totally agree with you ... if I could go back to the past and avoid all that, I would have done it, without a doubt, unfortunately it is not possible, very good people are too much to continue in the world, Chester, we love you and we love you, forever.
as many others have said, Chesters voice was more than just singing, it was an emotion. As the years go by after your passing while still listening I cant help but realize how much pain there was behind it. your voice was a double edges sword, which without your past we might of never got to hear your voice. thank you for channeling your pain into something we all can love and share...pushing through for so many years. RIP Chester.
It's still September 2024, I think I could say this for a lot of the people out there. We miss you even more after watching the "FROM ZERO" live stream. It aint the same without you. We miss you Chester ❤️
It's unbelievable the stamina Chester had. To be able to scream and sing like that for on entire show and not be without a voice at the end, as a singer myself I know.. TRUE LEGEND.
4 years ago today my dad passed away. I used to listen to this in his room and he hated it (was not his type of music), but he pretended to like it just so that i was happy. Now watching this after so many years it brings back so many memories. It is crazy how music can really make someone or break someone.
1. Chester was a beast 2. What a line-up of music that day 3. Those guitars sound excellent 4. I wish the video footage was a little more chronological
Time: summer 2004 Age: 17 Place: my bedroom As a big a LP fan, i was watching this dvd and exactly at 33:54 something clicked in me and I said: I will be a DJ. I said, I will be not want to be. RIP Chester, you will always be with us
As a 7 years old boy my father downloaded me and showed me that concert. Now when I'm 21 and I understand the lyrics it's the most important concert/lyrics/music in my life . It helps me a lot when I was younger but I didn't understood meaning xd Love it
Agreed. Then comes along the video producer and tries to get all fancy. Shakey scattered, zooming in and out for effect. More like a music video production than a live performance.
@@Nath20245No matter what you believe, but this WAS a production. They spent months planning this show. They knew they were gonna make it into a DVD. Who cares about the shakey cam, really?
Came here today to again re-live those golden moments. Today the new song "The Emptiness Machine" got released from the upcoming album "From Zero". I wish new lead vocal Emily and whole LP team all the best, but the void created by Chester's demise can never be filled. Chester, you will always be missed.
Hey chester.. miss you man.. this was perhaps 15 20 years back.. and this will be yet 40 50 years after.. never got to see you live but this show was the one that will be closest to my heart .. be immortal our KING..!!

It's even more insane from a performance point of view
1) Chester/Mike/the band was never off-beat or off-key
2) Chester is screaming for close to 1 hour, with no drop in intensity
3) true to the spirit of rock, there is NO BACKING TRACK, see how Chester sings everything in chorus of points of authority 15:41
4) on the finale song 1:02:40 Chester shows how technically gifted he is.. he gives a short scream on "thoughts" and transitions back smoothly to his melodic vocals.. insane difficulty

yep, so right
Mike Shinoda is such an important member. He wears so many hats (playing guitar, keys, backup vocals) to tie everything together.
He’s a music producer too. He’s very talented indeed.
I appreciate all posts appreciating Mike Shinoda 'aka Spike Minota aka Shintzel aka Mike' 😂

Those were the golden days!!! everybody was just minding their own business singing with the band and enjoying the experience! They watch the concert for the sole purpose of enjoyment. nowadays people watch concerts for the pics and videos. its like everyone is seeking everyone's attention!

If you go to big multi-day festivals for rock and metal music you really don't see that many camera's these days either

They're all going to have sore backs lol
This concert is proof that Chester really was one of the very best vocalists to ever live. His range, his technique, his style, his charisma, pretty much in a league of his own, and more importantly, a beautiful soul. I still find it hard not to tear up listening to his songs. The most important person in my life I never met personally. Rest in peace, friend.
A kind and talented soul. Many people become arrogant when they’re good at something, but not him
M4RCi92 I met him, he seemed like a nice bloke.

Your unique blend of powerful lyrics, innovative sound, and raw emotion has always resonated deeply with me. It's still September 2024, I think I could say this for a lot of the people out there. We miss you even more after watching the "FROM ZERO" live stream. It aint the same without you. We miss you Chester ❤️
Yess, every Day we miss him.I dreamt beautifull Dream with Chester smiling and Sunshine 😢🫶🍀😭❤️
Thats why im hanging here
It's unbelievable the stamina Chester had. To be able to scream and sing like that for on entire show and not be without a voice at the end, as a singer myself I know.. TRUE LEGEND.
I'm still here and miss you, Chester.
4 years ago today my dad passed away. I used to listen to this in his room and he hated it (was not his type of music), but he pretended to like it just so that i was happy. Now watching this after so many years it brings back so many memories. It is crazy how music can really make someone or break someone.
Im very sorry bro but keep moving u r gonna be fine
I'm deeply sorry to hear that bro.
Sorry to hear that, RIP to your dad and Chester
My dad was the one who introduced me to rock n' roll in general!!
Lankesh Samarasinghe so sweet of him to do that for you
You are making me emotional
1. Chester was a beast
2. What a line-up of music that day
3. Those guitars sound excellent
4. I wish the video footage was a little more chronological
Time: summer 2004
Age: 17
Place: my bedroom
As a big a LP fan, i was watching this dvd and exactly at 33:54 something clicked in me and I said: I will be a DJ. I said, I will be not want to be. I spent about 2 hours repeating Mr Hahn scratching .....today I'm 35. Pro DJ , played in the best clubs and gigs in Europe. Thank you LP, thank you Mr Hahn for inspiring me. RIP Chester, you will always be with us
How are you 35? Only 17 yrs have passed since 2004 so you should only be 33 right nao lolwut
@@ysl958 well spotted , first typo: I was 17 not 16....and I'm 35 since just 2 weeks....
@@rad563 glad you reach the "YOU" you want to be. ❤️ Linkin Park. The best.
As a 7 years old boy my father downloaded me and showed me that concert. Now when I'm 21 and I understand the lyrics it's the most important concert/lyrics/music in my life . It helps me a lot when I was younger but I didn't understood meaning xd
Love it
Btw a subriserber of u
My biggest regret in life is not getting to see Linkin Park live while Chester was still around
This concert was amazing. No gimmicks, no props, no flashing lights, just straight talent and heart. Thank you Linkin Park for endless memories!
Love your comment, totally agree
There’s nothing wrong with a cool light show
Agreed. Then comes along the video producer and tries to get all fancy. Shakey scattered, zooming in and out for effect. More like a music video production than a live performance.
Want to add like to your well spech, buts its to cool on 111 comments, couldn't more agree with u bro
❤❤❤❤❤
The amount of times I've rewatched this entire concert is insane
Linkin Park is truly one of a kind
me too
All of us belong to the same school

I listen/watch the concert every night. I end up falling asleep.
It's 3:45 am.

Hey chester.. miss you man.. this was perhaps 15 20 years back.. and this will be yet 40 50 years after.. never got to see you live but this show was the one that will be closest to my heart .. be immortal our KING..!!
My son and I listened to this together so many times..
Lost him...then Chester...RIP my love...
sorry man. Maybe they're spirits are alive and well and at peace.
@@deadeye723 thanks so much Jared for taking the time to say this.
🙏🙏🙏
I also listen to LP mostly with my dad. Reading your comment touched me. Feel so sorry for your loss. Hope you're doing ok.
@@Alezandr I died 10 years ago when I found him dead.
I just suffer in Cambodia with the professional sufferers...the Khmer people...teach me how to suffer..
I was a single dad...I failed him..
i can't imagine the pain that you're going through. i'm so sorry for your loss.
These are artists going 150%, crazy musicianship, Chester's voice was unmatched.
They performed like their life was on the line. Wild.
was..

Don't worry, I'm still here Chester!
Thank you Chester... I know that Linkin Park is not just you, but you are missed, I will always be listening... because I also suffer from the same peculiarity that you had and it ended up taking you and leaving us without the best voice in rock... thank you very much for everything.
