- In this 40 min Superset Full Body Dumbbell Workout | Controlled strength + Core follow along | No Repeat, we will have a total of 24 supersets targeting both the upper and lower body, as well as the core section. Each superset consists of 2 sets lasting 40 seconds each, followed by a 25-second rest between each superset. With these supersets, we will primarily target the same muscle groups within each set.
The dumbbells that I am using are:
2x18kg (Red color on the screen)
2x10kg (yellow color on the screen)
2x5kg (Green color on the screen)

You can Simply increase the intensity of this workout by using heavier dumbbells.

I had two weeks off from family obligation and then a small injury.
This was not the right comeback video to choose lol. I got through it with extra breaks though! It is two days later and I am still sore as hell!
I had gone up from 15kg to 16kg before the two week break for most lower body exercises, but I went back to 15kg for this and it was plenty lol.
I did notice one of the last videos I did, you touch you knee to the ground for cross lunges so I made sure to get my knees to the ground. I was only able to struggle through them because they were done holding one dumbbell ha ha.
I did this video about 5 months ago and commented that the Side Plank Abductions were hard from the first rep. They aren't easy but they were earsier this time! The side plank crunches were absolutely killing me and I had to take little 3 second breaks here and there.
Today I think I'm going to tackle your latest Strength HIIT video!
Weights:
15kg, 14kg (pick up push presses), 10kg, 8kg, 6kg

Well my old cam was not able to record for more that 30 min, so I have to split the workouts usually in two in order to do that, but that issue has been fixed now 😂

I do wish for some content on your channel that does repeat for hypertrophy. The majority of workouts are no repeat which I like but not always the best for my goals. Can you please do some that are multiple reps/sets of the same movement as well as progressive overload please.

I'm usually pretty decent when it comes to core work lying on my side, but the Side Plank/Abduction was hard from the first rep! I had never done it before and was cursing the screen 😅
I'm saving this video in it's own playlist so I can quickly find this to add the Side Plank/Abduction to other videos every now and then. I might just do the whole core section sometimes.

Following a trip to Europe (from Australia) and a subsequent illness, I'd slacked off on heavy weights workout. While I did this one to the end in the morning, I found it very harsh and wondered if I should bother with heavy weights. The answer came in the evening after a 4 km walk. I have been really tired, fatigued and lethargic recently despite walking, HIIT and swimming. But today after this heavy weight workout, all that disappeard. My heart rate during the walk went to 130bpm but it felt like it was at 100bpm. I have no idea why heavy weight workouts combat fatigue, but it seems I cannot give up weights. If only the benefits were available in a pill
