This would probably work for a little while, but the goal for me is to put the shotgun back into service for a long time. Funny though, when I removed what's left of the pin that came with the shotgun I discovered it was made from a ground down allen wrench end.

That white plastic made the stock and forearm pop. The finish looks great.
Nice this old gun being put back into working order. I got one for about $20.00 in about 1968.
These old shotguns don't have much value money wise, but they are fun to shoot.
File down a small nail or tack it's how my grandad and great grandad fixed firing pins on them old shotguns

If you have drill stock you file out new pin large drill motor can speed up concentricity great work peace
I'll probably do some drill stock on the lathe and mill.
