I’ve got one of these Stevens here in NZ, it’s in considerably worse condition unfortunately. The stock is full of cracks and the screw holding the trigger guard on was snapped off by a previous owner and to repair it they welded the trigger guard on. Current working on removing the snapped screw then I’ll move onto the cracked stock.
I have a Riverside Arms single shot 12 gauge that my great grandfather bought new that looks just like that. My stock is broken and at some point in it's life had been repaired. While repairing it someone sanded off way to much wood weakening the wrist by the receiver and causing it to break again. I've been trying to find a new (old) stock for it but haven't had much luck. From all the research I've done it appears that Stevens made it under the Riverside Arms name and it sold in hardware stores. It appears to be the same as a Stevens model 107 but i haven't found a stock for a Stevens either. Any idea where i could get one. I've had no luck on Ebay. Boyds has a new reproduction but i don't want to jump on a new stock if it doesn't fit.
