    Murders fpv channel uses a 650 6s battery for the large straps. I wish @quadmula would include 4s battery straps along with 6s straps

    • @vts5520i
      @vts5520i Рік тому +1

      Actually, even though it's a 20mm wide strap, it's shorter in length and specifically designed for smaller batteries. It's currently also being used on the SF3.

    • @Mangorille
      @Mangorille  Рік тому +1

      He must be over 250g then, I'm at 240 with a 4s so I would estimate that he's at minimally 265g, which defeats my goal of this build but yes should allow him to use that strap. :)

      @@vts5520i Yes the F25 comes with the same strap as the F3, both of which are too large for a 4s 650mah battery. I've tried cutting it shorter but then you're not left with enough of the velcro material to secure it well.

    Just got mine delivered and am having so much fun building and flying it. I'm trying for a fully featured sub 250g micro, So running O3 with flywoo lighter mod, Flywoo Goku 45A mini stack, Flyfish Spark 1404 4500kv [lighter and better thrust than t-motors], i grabbed that tiny HM EP2 rx and a Flywoo nano GPS. I was recommended the HQprop DT63x2.5 3 blade props for that good in between of pitch and thrust.

    • @Mangorille
      @Mangorille  Місяць тому

      Awesome, glad you're enjoying. If you can swap to the EP1 receiver and still be under 250g, I'd recommend you do that. The EP2 is fine for close flying but there is a noticeable range reduction from the EP1. I tried the Gemfan 2540 and the quad actually lost performance.

    Been flying my Djinn now for a few days now in many different configurations and I think Quadmula should consider selling longer arms to convert it to a 3". I've tried all the suggested props and it stills feels a bit too heavy in the power to weight ratio. My configuration. Speedy mini stack, mamba 1404 3000kv, dji 03 with all printed TPU. The tune is pretty bad too. Mangorille....love your content on FPV and 3D printing. You really know how to present material. Thank you.

      Thanks! What battery are you using? Mine was 240g ready to go, which is on the heavy end for the 2.5 inch props. I can get it down about 14 grams to 226 using the lightened o3, which is really where you’d want it. Don’t tell Quadmula but I tried to put my 3” arms on this frame and they didn’t fit. The second arm hole was off about a mm.

      @Mangorille using some Liperior 6S 650's which bring the total weight to around 275grams. I ordered some 550's that weight about 73 grams which should bring me to around 250grams. Do you think with a little modification the F3 arms would work?

      @@victorlugardo3703 Hmm, that is on the heavy side for such a small quad. I personally wouldn't try modifying the arms, it will cause play and make them weaker if you elongate the hole. What is the correct way to trim antenna tube, do you cut the wire and slide it out? Or you get a pair of scissors and trim it carefully?

    • @Mangorille
      @Mangorille  9 місяців тому

      I used an X-Acto knife to carefully slice the tube along the circumference. Once it is two pieces you can use scissor to slice it vertically and route the wire out. The UFL connector at the end isn't very strong so don't try to pull it though, the wire will separate from the connector.

    🤔I don't understand why Quadmula doesn't give you reviewers a purchase link with a small discount for your followers, to reward both you who present their products to the large public and in the meantime you youtubers give a small discount to your followers who help to grow your views and therefore the channel, their frames with some accessories cost a little, but the shipping cost is really exaggerated, okay they'll give you 1 more arm for free🤣 BUT MY QUESTION IS: QUADMULA Djinn F25 Split top and bottom plate, will almost certainly be able to accommodate the arms of the 3 inch QUADMULA Siren F3 Split, you who have the 2 frames have surely already tried to interchange, but let's not tell this to future Quadmula customers😉 Thank you for sharing your experience with us so that we can learn from you🤗😊

Because of the new laws in Europe it's not allowed to fly over 250g self built quads closer than 150m to building and people anymore. And is the EP2 sufficient range wise? Correct, I rely more on the rpm filter. You can have the sliders all the way to the right if your quad is mechanically sound and not very noisy. If unsure, start with the filters in the middle default position.

    • @Mangorille
      @Mangorille  11 місяців тому

      You need bi-directional dshot in order to use RPM filtering, pretty much the standard way of filtering now-a-days. This is not supported on regular BLS firmware so you need to install Bluejay. If your ESC is a BLHeli32 then it already supports bi-directional dshot and you wouldn't be putting Bluejay on it.
