Excellent video, brother! Quadmula is back and finally able to get manufacturing started again after the huge earthquakes that were affecting the day to day in Taiwan. We should start seeing products back in stock soon.
Ahh now it all makes sense! I thought people saw how you fly these and there was a mad rush and they sold out! I got to take my Siren F5 build out at the weekend and now I see why you love it!
Great build video! Just the right amount of detail, well spoken and easy to follow. Really like the component choices you made for everything, lots of solid stuff. Also - I did not expect you to go into Betaflight or the JI Configurators, that was cool to see. Probably should have shown how to activate an 03 but that really is not hard. Cheers
I am planning to build this drone too, as a smaller and lighter alternativ to my 5 inch drone. But the batterie only outputs 35A max and the stack can handle up to 45A. Should i use a throttle limit then or can i still use 100% normal throttle? It looked like you didn't use a throttle cap in BetaFlight.
I don’t use a throttle cap on it and I haven’t had an issue with these stacks.. I think I have around 5 quads using these and all on 100% throttle with no issues.
I was considering the f3 when it came out but ended up doing an Aos3.5 I run these same motors though on a mamba Aio. The Aos is a squished x as this appears to be also that’s why I wondered. This frame is far more durable I’m sure. I’ve blown mine apart several times. Had a motor fry over concrete and then a prop blow off over the same concrete. I run way bigger battery’s though. Limenier 850 6s. I originally cared about sub 250 but nobody ever sees me when I fly so I don’t care.
The AOS v5 frames have the arms a little further back in the body like a true X does which is probably how they get the props out of view by squashing the x. It does look like the AOS frames use a lot of the weight in the body for frame rather than the arms so hopefully that’s added protection for the expensive bits! I run larger batteries on my other Sub250g quads when I’m out of the city but then I just built a new 5inch which I tend to pick up when I know I’m going to the middle of nowhere
It’s one of these and it’s pretty loud but very light. I think these are generic brand so available in loads of places helifree.ch/fpv-racing-buzzer/3308-micro-buzzer-pour-fpv-racing-55mm
Only thing I dislike about Tmotor stacks is the pre soldered cap... Smaller builds need to have it moved the majority of the time due to space limitations in the back. Otherwise, they are dope!
Yeah that’s true… it’s really good for the Quadmula frames as you can just bend it up a little and it fits. But on some of my other frames I have to relocate the cap to a standoff and T-motor soldered it on so well that it’s hard to remove haha
super detailed video, liked👍 I'll be starting my first build soon too. Do you think I can use it as a guide? It's also a Quadmula frame, the Djinn 25. It should look similar, just a bit smaller🤔
I just finished building a Djinn F25 it’s a similar size body to the siren F3/F35 so the components should fit… it’s a little tighter in places but you should be ok with smaller motors (1404) and a smaller capacitor which will save you some weight
Nice build, want to build the same. Is there any chance you have a spare quadmula frame that I can buy from you? Quadmula is currently out of stock for all the frames…
I did have a spare F3/F35 frame but started a build on it just before I left for the U.S. Apparently Quadmula are ramping up production again but everything is out of stock because of the earthquakes in Taiwan recently but shouldn’t be long before they’re back in stock
Hey I've been silently following your FPV journey for a couple of months now, I've just started myself and went down a similar route to you, but instead of starting 5 inch I bought a Mobula 8 03 then realised it was to heavy to freestyle like I wanted , I then bought analogue stuff 04xpros with the idea of getting a Walksnail VRX in the future and I'm actually loving it even though I've tasted that sweet sweet video feed that DJI has to offer, I think I'm more of a performance junkie, I was just wondering how the Baby Hawk 03 is holding up was the jitter the 03 itself or was it the quad, I'm about to pull the trigger on it but your experience with it is making be hold off, have you tried putting a different 03 on it yet? My goggles 2 are just on the shelf at the moment collecting dust and I want a quad I can fly anywhere but will some decent power, it feels like the Baby hawk 03 is the only real option at the moment for a BNF
I tried so many things with the babyhawk O3 and couldn’t get rid of that jitter so I can’t recommend it… I’ve taken the insides of that and put it into the Quadmula Djinn25 frame to see if that fixes is but I ended up travelling a lot so haven’t had a chance to fly it more yet. But I know what you mean the O3 image is amazing, I’ve been testing whoops out with HDzero and analog but I wish DJI made a whoop sized unit! I just picked up an Ummagawd 2Fiddy ready to build kit with an O3 so let’s see how that goes… it comes with everything you need to build it and looks fairly simple to put together. I also got a spare frame as I want to build a 3.5inch version of it as well to see how that flies too
That’s exactly what I was thinking, however the 550mah is slightly too heavy but I’m trying to find a GNB 530mah as that looks like it’ll be just under 250g just not as available where I am 😩

The standoffs shouldn’t be in view unless you’re running a very high camera angle. The props are in view on most x-frames used for freestyle… it’s not a cinematic drone. @@GarethDix thx for the fast reply
@@TorontoFPV thx man
@@limitlessMH-in9vn any time if you seen his lat vid it's my frame lol I'm yesterdays news now.
how long can we fly with the 380mah lipos???????
I’m getting around 4-5 mins on this build but I’m trying to find a 530 6s given I have 20g to play with
I recommend 4S
Why tho?
I run 4s when I flying around the neighborhood since it’s pretty tight and don’t want to go as fast. The power loss is noticeable for sure.
on the test flight, your girlfriend or wife seems very amused... as they all are :D
She loves being my spotter… at least when she’s doing the filming she doesn’t get as bored so quickly 😂
They all been sold out 😫 need to sort out there production
They had a huge earthquake in Taiwan recently so they’re now ramping up production again so hopefully soon they’ll be back in stock!
The 35 has been sold out for weeks unfortunately 😢
They’ve been selling out quickly… I just managed to get a Djinn F25 and F5 and now they’re sold out again!
Yeah I managed to get the 25 and liked it so much I now wanna build the 35!
@ackers33 I’ve done a quick hover test of the 25 I built and now want to see how it compares to the 35 just from the hover test though it is sooooooo different
Too bad u cant get any quadmula frames except racers
Their production has been affected by the recent earthquakes in Taiwan but apparently they’re ramping back up again so it shouldn’t be long before they’re back in stock
Did they get rid of the terrible standoff and props in view crap yet?
The standoffs shouldn’t be in view unless you’re running a very high camera angle. The props are in view on most x-frames used for freestyle… it’s not a cinematic drone.
But you could go with the Djinn F25 which solves both of those because of the frame design. I’m sure they’re working on larger versions of that frame but it would likely end up almost being like a H-frame
O3 Discus 200g AUW :) but not an easy build :(
You’ve seen how I land right? 😂😂
@@GarethDix it lands fine. If your the problem land on grass lol
@TorontoFPV there might be grass but I will always find concrete 😂
@@GarethDix that's fine too I send you a video on insta of my pusher taking a beating all day long. eventually you gotta try it! I have T700 4mm version coming soon too! will still weigh less than those guys :)
