  • The tire shop pointed out that I needed upper control arms, so here is how I replaced them on my 2003 GMC Savana 3500 cargo van. A big thanks to Mike the ‪@TheDisgruntledMechanic‬ for providing a set of instructions before hand. Check out his channel using the link below.

    You totally showed me how to manage a dually front hub removal. Thanks! Had the wheel off and felt lost for a minute.

    Glad im replacing the the entire front end after seeing your video . I see that the upper control arm bolt is a pain with the spring installed. I won't have that issue if I pull it all out . Thanks

    Just a tip for future use, there's a cut out on the other side of the shock/spring tower on the bolt that's easier to get out and you can put the upper control arm bolt that's tough to get out in from the other direction (nut on the spring side)and use an extension and swivel socket to put the nut back on through the cut out on the other side. That makes the alignment easier. Hope that makes sense.

    Nice..job. Just finished my van. I dropped the shock....too many F-bombs with it up. Plus its almost 100F in the shop and my internal pressure regulator is set at low today 😤

    The requirements of a home mechanic are dirty hands (no gloves) and four lettered words. Thanks for the video.

    What is the torque spec for the nuts? And did you have to replace the whole wishbone arm?

    you talk to dang much....and can you not afford gloves or do you choose not to wear them?

    • @GettinJunkDone
      @GettinJunkDone  2 роки тому +1

      Chose not to wear them this time. I guess I should've checked with you first?
      Thanks for watching!

      instead of being rude maybe just offer a solution or advice. Talking to someone the way you talk will actually produce the opposite results.
