Replaced TPS on our Chevrolet express 3500 year :2005 with the 6.0l. Fixed erratic idle and also hard shift from the transmission. Turns out the connector part of the TPS was broken and corrosion had started to do some damage to the connector pins. Also note that I was able to do the job with the alternator in place, I only removed the air filter.

I really don’t think there has even been a cab-over-engine Van built that wasn’t cramped for space and harder to work on. Try pulling a slant 6 out of an old Dodge Van! There is no center of gravity on that engine. You just place the arm of the engine hoist onto the intake, then wrap a chain around everything...Fingers crossed. Good luck with the videos!
