    Hi,
    Great video. Thanks.
    My golf 1.4 tsi twincharged was running fine, just had water pump leak, so replaced water pump and also did the full service including spark plugs, engine oil, filters, dsg service, drive /serpentine belts and pulley changed. When I start the car, it started idling rough, no power at all, when press acceleration nothing happens instantly, then very slowly it speed up. Check the spark plug, which has done 1 mile hardly, they were black. All 4 got black. Few codes came up too, initially it was p000A , when I changed camshaft sensor it disappear and 2 other codes came on, p3008 and p0341. Then I put the old sensor back, then only p3008 remained. I replaced coolant temp sensor, thrust sensor, camshaft adjuster valve, put new spark plugs, but changed fuel filter. And also double each & every part for compatibility, bought from main dealer. After starting new spark plugs, I started and it was sane. I again check all plugs, they were all slightly black carbon on them, all 4 were in same condition. No oil, just black carbon. I was thinking may be I left any vacuum pipe back in? But if it was vacuum leak then it’s lean Condition and the spark plugs shouldn’t be getting black carbon on their tips. More fuel coming in as compare to air, that’s why I changed coolant sensor,
    Can faulty high pressure pump cause this condition, rough idling, misfiring (if look at exhaust), spark plug getting black with in few minutes of idling.
    Also can these symptoms caused by over filling of dsg oil? I put back same amount of oil (4.8 litres)which was flushed out ?
    Please help

    First thing i check is if the hi pressure (thrust) sensor is correct for the car , its easy to do and I have seen incorrect sensors installed numerous times , cant stress enough to use OEM factory on critcal fuel system parts, there's a reason they cost more

    Mine has a p2293 p0087 p0089. I replaced the low pressure fuel pump. The fuel pressure regulator on the high pressure pump. The fuel filter. I had a new motor put into the car. Its a 2007 audi a3 2.0t. Is the fuel pressure regulator supposed to be orange or black? I actually blew timing belt then put new motor first day I had car back blew piston through side of that motor. I'm goona try the cam follower and high pressure fuel pump of 2nd motor. The shit off first motor is gone.

    Hey so I have a 14 a4 that and after I got my ko4 turbo and tune I started getting a jurking when I was continuing a pull after a shift. This later on I got in my car and started to drive and it just died while I was on the highway and wouldn’t start back up. I have the p2293 and am wondering if my hpfp literally died. Planning on taking it off to look at it but I was freezing today. Tia

    Hey guys, I recently got a 2006 WV GTI 2.0 and discovered that the person who had it before me did some major "Jerry-rigging" on it. So now I'm trying to get it back up to proper working order. So..... There is a hose that runs from the fire wall (I guess?), on between the engine and the brake reservoir/master cylinder, and into the engine. It's flattened out like a snake skin and doesn't seem to need any hose clamps to hold it in place. Is that the "Brake Booster Hose"? Whatever it is, could you tell me what the part number is or give me a link to where I can buy a new one and give me some tips if there is some kind of trick to installing the new part? Any help is greatly appreciated. - Spencer

    My 09 Passat, 2.0 TSI randomly would shake violently on me, this started two years ago (2019). I was due for a carbon clean up, so I did that, the car ran fine for a while. However every so often, at complete random, the car would just not roll over. It would crank, start, then die. After 20-30 mins the car would start again without any issues and then would happen at random again (each instance months apart).
    I changed the injectors, sparks and coils all from vw parts dealership. Recently the car has started to do the same thing more frequently, three times yesterday.
    I changed the hpfp because of the P2293 code, and it worked fine again for an hour. In my test drive After replacing the pump I gave it pressed the throttle to test the acceleration and the car choke and started shaking. After pulling over and running diagnosis, it gave me misfires codes on cylinders 1 to 3 and the car would shake again, almost as if it was choking, bit of a stutter but the p2293 code didn’t come back.
    Later that same day I checked the coils and sparks, cleaned them and back to normal…but an hour after that the car would shake as if it was choking and didn’t want to start again. This time the p2293 code came back on.
    Anyone had a similar issue? Any suggestions? I have yet to replace the fuel pressure sensor… I think that might be the last thing I replace before I let this car go…been a headache. Cheers.

      @@kevincortez6273 aw ok, my q5 has stalled on me three times after I changed lpfp and fuel pump control module so am now looking to change the hpfp and cam follower and pray.

      @kevincortez6273 Рік тому

      Does it stall while driving or soon after start up?
      Good luck - let me know if that fixed in in your end. I actually got my car diagnosed for the issue and they told me it was carbon build up. Highly doubt it cause I cleaned myself real good.

    • @king.kthebest6158
      @king.kthebest6158 Рік тому

      @@kevincortez6273 so after I changed the pump, it would still crank and not turn on so I found out about the pump control module lodged in that cavity and changed that because that’s controls the pump priming and I used to only hear the pump prime half the time, so when I changed that it worked perfectly for around 4 days, then I put gas in the tank and the car stalled on me mid drive half a mile down the road for the THIRD time when I was happy that the issue was finally fixed. At this point I don’t know what to do I scanned it and only got code p02293 which could be a million fuel and wiring related things.

    Hi i have this code on my audi b8 tfsi. I am also experiencing a loud screeching and ticking noise. I used a stethoscope to hear the HPFP and it definitely seems to be making the sound. Went online and bought another vw audi hpfp and replaced it. Problem still exists. Replaced PCV as well just as a precaution, and the sound is still there. It makes almost like a mechanical screeching sound. Help! (Car has no issues. Runs drives and accelerates without any problem or jerking.

      +Ben Zhu Its possible you have an issue with your fuel pressure sensor deutscheautoparts.com/make-model-year/audi/a4/b-8-2009-2012/engine/2-0-turbo-audi-valve-lift/repair/sensors/06j906051d-fuel-pressure-sensor-fsi-tsi-vw-audi.html

      Just to be sure before i do go ahead and buy this. I've taken the stethoscope once again and traced the sound down the metal pipe from the HPFP to the fuel rail. The upper portion of the fuel rail that is closer to the metal pipe is louder than the lower part( That part being closer to the pulleys and belts) Also the sound is somewhat of a metallic screeching noise.

    what was the solution to his problem? i have the same problem with my 2010 cc. i have already changed the HPFP but that doesn't seem to be it. After about 20 minutes of driving and I'm at idle my car stalls when i start to accelerate. its not violent like the example in the video. once i try to accelerate the car will slowly start rolling and ill have time to pull to the side of the road. when it stalls the battery light will be on and the car starts up right after but does it again like 3-4 minutes later. can you give me any advice?

    My gti mk6 got p2293 code.
    Check engine is off.
    The only issue i have is that all morning it takes a little more to start.
    Because when i use it to go anywhere, I stop it, do things then about 10-20-30 min it starts with no problems.
    What could it be?
    Fuel pressure sensor?
    Low pressure fuel pump?
    HPFP?
    Fuel filter
