Pokémon Journeys: The Series is the eighth part of the anime series. It features all of the regions from the main-series games, including the Generation VIII games Pokémon Sword and Shield. This series shares its Japanese name with the original series when the anime first premiered in 1997, and is officially labeled with "2019", the year this series started in, for disambiguation. This new series focuses on the two protagonists Ash Ketchum and Goh, along with their partners Pikachu and Cinderace. It also features a young girl named Koharu (Chloe), who has a Yamper, and her father, Professor Sakuragi (Cerise), who runs a laboratory in Vermilion City. It features all the regions that have appeared in the Pokémon games, from Kanto to Galar. Pokémon from each region will also appear while Ash is pursing Leon in the Pokemon World Coronation Series (PWC) and Goh is chasing his dream in Project Mew.

Welp this is it... With this final episode out today...We have to say goodbye to the goat himself Ash Ketchum...I'm going to miss him so much we could see him return in the scarlet and violet anime as a side character but I don't want to get my hopes up. I haven't watched most of the anime I was born in 2006 so I did missed out most of the anime but I'm going to watch all of it if it's the death of me I promise. Even though Ash is going to be gone soon he'll always be in our hearts so matter what I just know it no doubt about it. Ash no Satoshi we are so grateful that we got to meet you... Friend. You'll always shine like a Brilliant diamond, be our treasure like a heart of gold, be strong as a sword, protective as a shield, as bright as the sun, blazing like a red fire, smooth as a silver, cool as the moon, and a legend like Arceus, we love you Satoshi and Pikachu thank you for everything Pokémon Master 😉👍

I’m sad that your journey ends, but I’m happy because you’ve earned it. I will honor the times you had and give the same amount of love to the new guys. I remember I started with the Indigo league even when black and white was airing, I kept watching, and here we are now, my favorite moment is honestly…everything, im so glad I’ve experienced this with my friends and all of you, heres to hoping the next series is just as good as the ones before
I like a lot of things about the anime, seeing Ash become the very best, make so many friends, catch and bond with Pokemon, save the world countless times. But for me its been the journey, it felt like we were on it with him, he worked hard and at times it didn't pay off, but he kept going, never giving up. He was this constant in all our lives, something we could all relate to, and who would never go away.
The journey never ends. He's still continuing the journey only we can't see him❤
I never thought we would arrive at this point, but here we are. We've seen Ash undergrow major changes. From his beginnings where he was a scrappy kid to now being a world-class champion. We've seen his greatest highs and lows. It's hard for me to put in words, but I am really going to miss him. Wherever he goes, I'm sure he will have a great time with his trusted partner.

My favorite moments with Ash has to be his big showdown against Paul, his fight against Alain, him becoming the Alola League champion, and his climatic showdown with Leon.
Favourite moment: Pokemon Journey episode 112- Ash and Pikachu staring off into the sunset, proud of their accomplishments prior to the M8 tournament. Pidgeot fully rejoining Ash's team leaving its flock, fulfilling the promise that was made when it originally left. Surprised honestly of no Ho-oh appearance. My favourite part of this particular episode was when they honoured Satoshi Tajiri in Ash's bedroom with Caterpie and Butterfree referencing how the franchise of Pokemon was formed. (Through Mr. Tajiri's bug catching). Grateful
Right I was expecting either ho-oh or at least Latias to make an appearance
My favorite moment was seeing Ash's Pidgeot again after 26 years and ash and Pikachu going on a journey again
Music used made me cry 😭 song used type of wild for ending masterpiece. Thank you Ash and Pikachu for 25yrs of spectacular adventures and forever legends. Can’t believe they are no longer main lead characters 😭❤.
Wholesome episode all around from beginning to end Ash and Pikachu saying goodbye to Misty and Brock happy for Psyduck getting it's hug. Ash meets Gary by surprise helping Charmander. Tracey making an appearance and talking woah didn’t see that coming. Team Rocket all on the same page. Pidgeotto return insane came out of no where good surprise.
Favorite moment: tied between saying goodbye to butterfree and meeting butterfree in journeys.

Ash's worn out sneakers is a direct reference to one of the lyrics from Rica Matsumoto's song "Type: Wild":

They're the best pair of worn out shoes!"
Also, the cherry blossom tree blooming is a reference to a lyric from aim to be a master:
‘’Like blossom about to flower, dreams will eventually come true!”
Some of my favorite Ash's moments are Ash beating Paul in the Sinnoh league silhouette shot at the end to see which mon falls down and trainers looking at each epic. Along with Ash batting Cynthia and Leon M8. Ash and Pikachu spending a day with Leon bonding and having fun with wild pokemon. Love the moment they were free falling from the sky when Leon switched from his Charizard to Dragapult landing on a herd of wooloo.
My favorite moments...
1. Pidgeot coming in out of nowhere
2. Team rocket holding hands as they blasted off 1 last time from ash and his Pikachu
3. Butterfree. 😭

there are so many things i want to say man.....26 insane years that's nuts. World champion, got so many achievements, so many pokemon caught and befriended, so many companions Same goes for Team Rocket i just can't put into words how much i wasn't ready for this. I knew what was comming for months....i thought i was ready to say Goodbye and then they played Type: Wild which i was already crying before. Im just so proud of Ash, Pikachu and Team Rocket that was my childhood and i'll forever cherish these memories. Watching Ash's Pikachu K.O Brock's Onyx when it was wet from the sprinklers just blew my mind as a kid and even if it was kinda cheating that basically was the start of the unique Ash strats he always brings to the table. Im so happy i was able to see his adventures unfold and as much as it won't be the same, i can't wait to see what the new series has in store.

One of my fave moments from the series was when ash was battling Blaine and Charizard noticed ash giving his all and struggling and waking up the friendly caring charmander within his core that he used to be

My first exposure to Pokémon was XY in elementary school. I'm now in High School and entering 11th Grade once August starts. Journeys was by far my favorite experience, but that may change once I watch older Pokémon material. I can't wait for Horizons!
ash/satoshi definition about becoming pokemon master is already infront of us. we just think it's a ranking of sort. but i love ash definition of pokemon master, is traveling with our pokemon, battling with them, befriending with them and making memories with them. love this last 11 episodes or the whole series did. he mentioned he wants more moments like what happen to them with latias and latios. i love it. because we've all been a pokemon masters all this time. we just dont know it.

Well my kid is watching Pokemon now. Starting off at the beginning with Kanto and the Indigo League.
Got a long way to go but I wish I didn't spoil Ash beating Leon but it will be their talk at school possibly when it airs in North America. Plus it invested kiddo that this entire anime is completed with over 1200 Episodes and 20 Movies and not gonna cut off half way through a series because of say a cancellation like many others.
A good episode but it lacks so many things like gekkoga butterfree and serena if these are there then it will be a perfect ending but unfortunately we will never ever see serena with ash 😢

Some are a bit disappointed but I guess this was a PERFECT ENDING... instead of giving him a solid-certain ending they let us know his dream will never end... so in our headcanon and hearts Ash and Pikachu will be somewhere and enjoying their new adventures together.... And thank you writers! Thank you for returning Pidgeot to Ash again.... In my head-canon I will be always thinking Ash's using his rotation team in his new adventures so all of his amazing pokemon will have their moments with Ash and Pikachu always....

Ash Ketchum isn't going anywhere he is staying if you pay attention to what Ash mom made for Ash for his next Journey. He has shoes had a logo on it from the beginning of his Journey. He not leaving the series so it reveals that Ash Ketchum going on another adventure.
Than it make this pointless. Remember he’s not the focus and shouldn’t appear in this next series, if so what was the point of ending it like this. The goal to push the anime with a story without Ash and I think just adding him back in wouldn’t do that justice for Liko & Roy. It’s like Yugi in YuGiOh GX, like he’s not the focus and shouldn’t be, but he’s out there.

Yo Tracey really was the last companion we see in the anime and had a speaking role. This is max trolling right here. LOLOL Pidegeot returning briefly to save Ash was really cool as well. Ending the stupid English dub debate, of "coming back for it." No Pidegeot was released ya'll, and the man was clearly busy.
Otherwise, this was a great episode, will miss Ash and Pikachu
My two complaints with this episode are
1. No Ho-Oh
2 No montage at the end showing all of ashes old companions and rivals and what they’re doing now
