I got a request.
Make team rockets best team that has a chance on defeating ash and Pikachu
Charzard is super efective against articono but infernabe is not against moltreres
You do know it's a scam, right, see ordinary gamers video, just reply on your subbies and not corps.
No
Hi zac
I'm just happy that Krookodile was mentioned as being part of one of the teams.
HE DESERVES IT 👏🏽
i mean he sure got that spot for its own merit.
He has one of the best movesets
@@Zactoshi so does Lycanroc imo. I mean I know he's one tier below champion tier but he is the reason Ash became the Alola Champion in the first place. Plus he basically has a 4x edge over Leon's ace
Krookodile is cool.
sceptiles win rate is pretty bad, but you have to remember most of its losses came as a treecko and grovyle, where it had some bad losses. As a sceptile, I'm pretty sure it only lost to a regirock (under evil ash) and a latios, both mind you are legendary. Gotta give the dude some respect.
This is what I'm saying. He has only lost twice as a Sceptile and both times against legendaries. Lost to Latios after he defeated Darkrai and when he was fighting Regirock, it wasn't even Ash commanding him. So technically you could say that he has one loss.
Also, I think him mega evolving would help with his fire weakness a bit since he becomes a dragon type when he mega evolves
@@rhettsalsbury9394 I agree, the grass type has a lot of weaknesses, so that would help things a little
@@xxeex_xaxex6317not only that, the lightning rod ability helps with Charizard and Greninjas electric weakness, and actually makes sceptile stronger in terms of special attack
Didn’t he lose to a blaziken also
Sceptile and Krookodile getting their recognition makes me happy
Especially Krookodile since the dude worked hard in BW
if I brought it for Cameron he might have actually won
sceptile kept up with speed form deoxys, and got the edge vs darkrai

When you mentioned a team being centered around Infernape. I now want to see what each of Ash's teams would look like if he centered them around a regional ace (with or without Pikachu).
i dont think having inferape would be ideal cuz we cant see ash getting, mega evo, gigantamax etc... with his ace same goes for greninja, krookodile, lycanroc etc
i would go for:
1. lucario (we could see ashs lucario learning smth from the lucario and mew movie lucario)
2. sceptile (it defeated a fcking darkrai, cant wait to see mega evo sceptile destroying mega charizard with type disadvantage)
3. charizard (lets get real charizard would be weak cuz it wont get charific valley training if he takes pikachus place, could see him beating leons charizard after 20 years in ashs party like pikachu tho)
@@new-user-z142 inferape. wow.
@@new-user-z142nah infernape was nerfed
@new-user-z142 Bruh moltres is arguably the strongest in the trio and let's not forget noivern beaten zaptos but somehow he got a nerf so to me i would like to have infernape
thats a great idea
Can we all agree that each and every Pokemon Ash owned are unique and strong in their own way?
No, or else we wouldn’t still be arguing 😂
No
YES 👏🏽 ...except Unfezant.
Can agree, some of his Pokémon are not powerful from just strength but resilience like corpish, courage like swellow or pure badassery like krookodile 😂
@@Zactoshi you deserve any ire you get
The thing about Charizard vs Infernape:
Ash almost always has a large Flying type on his team. Despite it not being his primary typing, Charizard is the largest and strongest Flying type Ash has. Even without the Fire typing it'd be almost guaranteed a spot. Then you throw in that even without a Mega, G-Max, or an ability like Blaze it's arguably still Ash's strongest Fire type; and it doesn't add weaknesses to the team that the rest of the team can't handle, it is the better option on almost all counts. The only thing it has to fear is Stealth Rock.
Which Kamon could just slice away with brutal swing if he were on the team
Mann it obviously has blaze ability 😅.
@@boruto_uzumaki_69420 Like every fire starter it has Blaze
@@MannyindahouseDog You've Definitely Not Seen DP To Say That. 😑
If Ash had a least favourite type, it would probably Ground considering how hard it is for most of his best Pokemon to play around. In all seriousness though, this was definitely a very interesting team. Didn't really see Gengar coming for the restricted team but after you explained it, I can totally get it.
Plus Torterra (which gained the ground type after evolving) got hard done by
@@KingOfSciliy yeah we don't talk about torterra
@@eljordinio7647 Then i better not mention Palpitoad either
@@KingOfSciliy decent battler but was barely even there
His kalos team had an amazing matchup against ground lol noivern, talonflame, greninja, halucha
I think Lycanroc is a really good candidate for ash's ultimate team, he also won Ash the league but he didn't got any screen time after that to show more of his powers, he battles with such a great spirit which is rare. In my opinion, he should be on Ash's ultimate team. Others opinion may be different
I have to agree! His Lycanroc is what made him a champion and should easily be considered!
Yeah definitely
Yes!
i agree! but i like lycanroc bcuz like ash-greninja and pikachu its unique to ash
Honestly I think Snorlax could have worked well being the only Pokemon of Ash's to never get knocked without knocking out a prior Pokemon. So every time Snorlax goes down he's at least taken down 1 or 2 Pokemon prior.
And how many times he has fought battle?
@@dankeclose4031 Major battles I believe Claire, Harrison, Gary, Greta, won the pokemon Sumo and for minor never struggled for team rocket and a Sinnoh league win. Also having a 73% win rate tying with Greninja. Probably missing some stuff in the Orange Islands too.
@@dytrus8203 that's impressive ig but tbh i haven't liked hoenn league much and only vaguely remembers.
@@dankeclose4031 I wouldn't say he's Charizard, Greninja, or Pikachu level but around Krookidile and all of the journeys team except Lucario
@@dytrus8203nah snorlax is their level if not higher
Let’s go Krookodile!!👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽 glad to see Shades here!! Love the teams!!
Plus he has a really diverse moveset so he can really put in some work with coverage
Dig obviously deals with steel, fire, rock and electric types.
Stone edge counters fire, flying, ice and bug types
Dragon claw obviously is there for dragon types
And Aerial ace counters fighting, bug and grass types
I accept what's coming to me...
😭😭🙏
I will respect any decision you make
Greninja
Lycanroc
Pikachu
Lucario
Infernape
Sceptile
I can’t believe you called god rowlet a bubble blowing baby
I like your choice
You could have waited till ash caught Latias
Just because Greninja isn't currently with Oak (or Cerise or Kukui or whatever) that doesn't mean he was released. Yes he's out there doing his thing, but Ash still has Greninja's Pokéball and can recall him any time (and the same goes for Goodra btw).
Interesting choices. Though looking at its feats, I can see Dracovish being in Ash's ultimate team too. As well as Snorlax and maybe Lycanroc.
Thank you someone else mentions Lycanroc
@@eljordinio7647Bro you say this like you can put more than six Pokémon in the team you can’t put every Pokémon you like in the team bro

I FUCKING LOVE BOTH TEAMS! ESPECIALLY WHEN GRENINJA IS IN THEM! YOU DID MY BOY JUSTICE ZAC!
Greninja being in an ultimate team is a no brainer, with or without... *Satoshi Gekkouga.*
@@eljordinio7647 🥲
I agree. Every ultimate Ash lineup needs Gekkouga in there somewhere.

Sad to see that infernape isn't in the team... But still love him ✊💥
Same 😔
Me too
@@Zactoshi shouldn't gengar be immune to ground types due to levitate
I mean infernape is strong, no one questions that. But Zac has a point. Until infernape actually beats a legendary and gets more coverage, Charizard is basically the de facto choice for fire power
@@jjohnson2445 uh Gengar doesn't really have levitate. If he did, Korrina's Lucario wouldn't have clapped him with Bone Rush
If the anime will ever show Ash defending his title in a final Masters 8 match, I really hope he'll use these teams. Or something very similar at the very least.
And I hope to see him obtain Terrastle as well to complete his battle mechanics.
I think these Ash Ultamite Teams are great they are all comprised of Pokemon that are iconic to Ash and are among the strongest of his Pokemon. My ultamite Ash team would be Pikachu, Charizard, Sceptile, Greninja, Lycanroc and Lucario!
That's basically the ultimate team I gave ash, just subbing Sceptile for Krookodile cos of more type coverage
@@eljordinio7647 krookodile is amazing personally I’d say ash’s ultimate team is Pikachu, Sceptile, Infernape, Krookodile, Lycanroc and Lucario. Every series except Kalos is being represented cause greninja is released. Pikachu represents Kanto and johto the rest doesn’t need explaining
And either way Lucario Carries greninjas legacy
@@RINEES98 true, tho Naganadel was also released and it never stopped it from just randomly showing up out of the blue, for all we know, greninja could do the same if it senses Ash and what's going on
Yes
The anime literally creating a new form for a Pokémon so Ash could have a Mega Pokémon: the greatest thing in Anipoke history
Tapping in to an ability Ash has owned for over 15 years: plot armor
looking at these ash teams is a reminder of how far he's come. all of them, even the ones that didn't make it have impacted his journey as a trainer and made him who he is today.
Really happy about these picks, they represent him well
7:35 bro has to confess to bea
When he said Sceptile is known for his "Crappy Win Rate" I genuinely laughed so much.
It’s roughly 55% which is respectable lmfao
Sceptile was the best grass type Pokemon of Ash. And it's too underrated (nor he's that cool/no gimmicks either) and other grass type Pokemon's of Ash isn't that great either (the fact that writes don't want them to evolve 😫)
I think choosing sprigatito as the partner of the next protoganist was the right choise tbh. Grass type Pokemon's are ignored so much 😭
@@mayank00005 True thinking about.
@@asdfg3046 Wasn't that only because it lost a lot as a Treecko?
@@Cklert not really. It lost quite a bit as grovyle too.
Really solid choises. I'm more neutral with the starters since for me a pokemon I would like as a starter is Kubfu/Urshifu.
Thus Charizard over Infernape makes scences.
For me it would be Pikachu, Septile, Greninja, Charizard, Lucario and Crocodile.
9:40 THAT sounds like an awsome idea. I would love to see an Infernape-centric team as a part 2 to this video!
Yes, justice for our boy!
Put infernape, greninja, Lycanroc, Sceptile, Dragonite and Gengar and you're good to go
Maybe make it a multi-part series what would be Ash's strongest team if it had to be assembled based on his Legendry Tiered Pokemon
Infernape all the way. Easily the best Gen 4 Fire Pokemon because he was pretty much one of like 6 or 7 new fire Pokemon introduced.
Gen 4 really did not show the Fire types much love at all. Literally just Chimchar and its evolutions and Magmortar.
Flippin' sad.
But Infernape is amazing and so much fun to battle with
@@ApathyTales88 Tbf, Fire types generally don't get that much love. I guess it's kinda cool that fire types are much more rare than water and grass types, but still, we do wish we had more of them
7:18
I just remembered all of Ash’s Gimmick Pokémon are the ones weak to ground
If i had to choose a team for the battle myself, I'd honestly go with a team consisting of Pikachu, Sceptile, Infernape, Krookodile, Lycanroc, and Lucario in order to represent each series (except XYZ because no Greninja) and the team would still have it's have all 3 gimmicks but swap the Z move to Lycanroc for Pikachu having a G-Max clash against leon's Charizard. The match ups would probably be a speed battle of Inteleon vs. Sceptile, Lycanroc breaking apart the ice field against Mr.Ryme, Krookodile vs. Dragapult, an all-out monkey battle of Infernape vs. Rillaboom, Mega Lucario vs. Cinderace ending in a double KO, and finally Pikachu vs. Charizard that has the same events, but Pikachu gets knocked out of G-Max early instead of 10M volt thunderbolt, so we get the well animated battle that is used for the official version. It's not the greatest team, but it'd be a good final battle team to represent the entire series' aces well
Perfect team Ghee, but seems this team is fanfiction greninja can swap in for krookodile if greninja didn’t get released
Can we just all agree that 8:15 is the funniest part and says just pick his 6 strongest Pokémon and then proceeds to use them later on?
I feel like Ash's team in Alola was stronger than Galar's if considering Naganadel, Melmetal and even after not counting Solgaleo
It's not really worth calling it a Galar team when not even half of it is from galar
@@eljordinio7647 Yup. Plus Galar team didn't have good development too.
@@shreyassrinivasa journeys team would be more appropriate
But yeah
Who agrees thta solgaleo is gonna carry the team
Fax
But he didn’t even catch solgaleo he just raised it
But we all need to agree that Ash's Kanto Team is most iconic and sought after(maybe due to Nostalgia)
Nostalgia is all that team is known for
In terms of power, only Pikachu , Bulbasaur and the goat charizard bring it
So basically Sceptile who is probably one of the weaker Pokemon is so vital in Ash' realistic team cause he is the only check to ground type weakness and should he goes down along with Charizard, Ash entire team falls apart. I knew Sceptile is going to be valuable one way or another.
8:48 Zac you gotta accept that Ash-Greninja is gone, I'm sorry man. 😞
Noooooooooooo 😭💔
But wasn't it in the new opening? I thought it was.
@@Zactoshi I certainly won't accept it
Kroododile is the only reason I clicked because of how underrated he is I'm glad I found someone who actually loves it Aswell and I fully agree that it should be on the team
Agreed on both of the lists 100% . In my opinion Snorlax and C'mon! could be also considered if you consider Ash 'creative battle tactics''... Plus Both of them also always found a way to surpass their counter-typing.
Snorlax is very hard to feed lmao but he came through a bunch for Ash. The Sumo competition and his battle with Clair to name two examples. Also don't forget they couldn't catch that Snorlax when they first met it in the Orange Islands. It swam so fast between islands it was able to eat half the fruit in the trees of the next island over before they even noticed.
Ash's Snorlax is one of a kind and I love that Pokemon. So many comical moments
It's not fair. Infernape had to fight a moltres, which resists fire type moves due to it also being a fire type. Also, infernape is a fighting type, and moltres is a flying type. For charizard, it resists flying and is strong against ice.
and the articuno of noland is no comparison to that moltres..and even gary blastoies got fainted who is charizard's rival so we cant expect charizard to do anything , cant even think of him to win ...infernape>>>charizard
@@MohdShadab-qk9ho No he is not bro. Infernape is probably my favorite Ash Pokemon but Charizard is just stronger.
@@shreyassrinivasa maybe for u ...but factually we cant prove it
@@MohdShadab-qk9ho It can be proved easily because Flying has type advantage over fighting. Charizard just needs to fly in the air to beat Infernape. Infernape has no move that is even super effective against Charizard. There's your factual proof.
@@shreyassrinivasa so acc to your logic, talonflame would also beat infernape, right??...and squirtle would beat charizard bcz he is water >> fire
This is a nice video to say goodbye to Ash, what a legend✨
A world legend
ash will be in scarlet and violet it is confirmed. not as themc but yeah he will be there.
@@subhamnath5830 even if he is, he isn't the main focus

Heeeeee’s baaaaaaaaack :)
In defense of infernape, Charizard faced a legendary bird which it had a type advantage and type resistance to while only being able to hit for neutral with its flying moves. Infernape faced a bird which resisted both its types and had a type advantage against it.
But still flying is better for the team and Charizard has wide movepool and is a beast without having anything
Not defending the team choice. Just saying the qualification he is using isn’t a 1:1 comparison.
Legendary pokemon were also made very powerful in journeys to promote raid battles. A single legendary would wipe entire teams at once.
Exactly
@@romero9274Indeed. In the Johto series, two trainers both attempted to capture Entei and Suicune
They used Roar to send the Pokemon owned by those trainers back to their Pokeballs and went about their business escaping with no effort. They could have incinerated or frozen the land around them in an instant.
The Legendary Birds and Ho-Oh's creations are not meant to be owned by trainers. They serve a greater purpose.
Actually pokemon anime being extensively long and adding so much filler may sound bad but it's due to that fact that we get to explore more about every single ash Ketchum pokemon so much(except for those 29 tourus actually)
7:43 to be fair, typing is a factor there too, Infernape would probably do better against the ice bird than the fire bird
Since the 26th anniversary of the Pokemon anime is just around the corner, may I suggest doing a top 26 Pokemon anime recurring human characters ?
3 reasons:
1. Ash's journey is near its end and he has met countless trainers and companions that have reappeared in Pokemon Journeys. Plus, given that Gen 9 will feature an all new team of characters that does not have any familiar faces, consider this a send-off to Ash's friends throughout the Pokemon World.
2. This list would include main characters including travelling companions, rivals, gym leaders, champions, Pokemon Professors, island kahunas, etc (basically every human that Ash has met more than once on his journey).
3. This can be similar to what you all did within the Pokemon UA-cam community for the top 25 Pokemon anime battles. After all, everyone has their own preferences.
Ash's final episode is not completed, there's something missing in this episode: Giovanni telling to Matori to study the doomsday project information. Team Rocket's doomsday project builded. Team Rocket tries to steal Ash's Pikachu again. Officer Jenny saving Ash and Pikachu from the Team Rocket. Team Rocket's Doomsday Pod arriving in Pallet Town. Gary's Umbreon saving Ash and Delia from the Team Rocket's Doomsday Pod. Professor Oak sending messages to regions and all of Ash's friends through Pidgey. Ash reuniting all of his old friends (Misty, Brock, May, Max, Dawn, Iris, Cilan, Serena, Bonnie, Clemont, Lana, Kiawe, Lillie, Sophocles, Mallow, Goh and Chloe). Tracey shows to Gary a photo of the Team Rocket's doomsday project. Ash and all of his old friends teams up with Gary and the members of Project Mew to fight against Team Rocket. Members of the Project Mew arrives to Team Rocket's Doomsday Project. Ash, his old friends and Gary goes into the Team Rocket's doomsday project. Team Rocket Grunts surrounding Horace and Lyla. Ash and his Pikachu defeating the Team Rocket Grunts. Team Rocket Grunts surrounding and taking Danika and Quilon to the temporary command center. Ash and Pikachu goes to the Team Rocket's Doomsday Machine. Giovanni capturing Ash and his Pikachu. Team Rocket locked Pikachu in the cage. Ash is locked in the cage by Giovanni ("But, in every game, there are winners and there are losers. And as you know, in this game...losers...gave their Pokémon!"). Giovanni using Pikachu's power to rule the world. Pikachu explodes the cage with his thunderbolt to escape and save Ash from the Team Rocket. Ash tells to Gary that Doomsday Machine is indestructible to all proof of destruction. Ash runs to the Kanto's graveyard and sees his dead father's grave. Gary tells Ash never to give up. Mewtwo appears and mentions to Ash that power energy stones are the only hope to defeat Team Rocket. Ash and Pikachu arrives to the Team Rocket's headquarters. Ash is in Giovanni's office and picks up one of the power energy stones. Serena wants Ash to come with her. Ash and Serena gather the Power Energy Stones. Team Rocket Grunts arrives. Ash and Serena with Pikachu's volt tackle attack defeating all of Team Rocket Grunts. Giovanni and Persian goes into the helicopter for try to escape. Jessie, James, Meowth and Wobbuffet quits and escapes too with rocket jets. Matori escapes from the Doomsday Project's destruction with a small elevator. All Pokémon trainers and Team Rocket Grunts escapes from the Doomsday Project. Gary, Misty, Brock, May, Max, Dawn, Iris, Cilan, Bonnie, Clemont, Lana, Kiawe, Lillie, Sophocles, Mallow, Goh, Chloe, Danika, Quilon, Horace and Lyla escapes from the Doomsday Project and gets into the Project Mew's ship. Ash and Serena defeated Team Rocket. Pokémon Trainers celebrates Team Rocket's defeat. 26 years in the future. Ash and all of his old friends growing up and having their own children. Why didn't the Japanese producers and writers try harder to bring all of Ash's old friends into the final episode? I always say because the final episode isn't complete without all of Ash's friends. The Japanese producers and writers don't want to continue with Ash getting together with all his friends to fight Team Rocket, they don't want to plan Ash and Giovanni's final battle, they just keep ignoring all the plans.
I wished Ash has a Cinderace, Rillaboom and Dragapult. They are even powerful.
But I have one ultimate team for Ash:
Pikachu, Incineroar, Gengar, Greninja, Lucario, Dragonite
2: Pikachu, Lucario, Melmetal, Incineroar, Dragonite and Greninja
My Idea for Ash's Champion Team if he were to return / cameo in the New Anime:
Pikachu
Greninja
Charizard
Lucario
Annihilape
Krookodile
I honestly like his unrestricted team more, nothing against Nebby (though Greninja's move pool is garbage), but Ash rolling up with him would make him no better than Tobias. It's nice to see Krookodile on the team, and if we assume Ash can acquire the Mega-Stone for his two other eligible pokemon (Charizard and Sceptile) he already has counters for their new dragon typing against Ice (Charizard and Lucario), Fairy (Gengar and Lucario), and Dragon (Sceptile, Dazzling Gleam, and Possible Charizard depending on the stone).
Plus I like that Sceptile make both teams, it goes to show how little win rates mean in the grand scheme of things.
*If we are to be as unbiased as possible Ash’s Journeys and Alola teams as well as Sceptile and Charizard are his most proven pokémon*
you're seriously going to leave out Infernape?
saying as unbiased as possible and leaving out greninja and infernape
And if these 2 Ultimate Teams were to clash, Krookodile & Gengar can both take down Nebby.
If it were to come against Greninja, Krookodile would stand no chance. However it might be hard for Greninja against Gengar as Greninja doesn't know anything to counterstrike Gengar''s typing; while Gengar could with Dazzling Gleam
Ash pulling up with an unrestricted team is basically next gen Tobias
Except ash didnt come out of nowhere 😂
Lycanroc gets slept on so much. It's the one that made him a champion and I guarantee it could go so much farther if given the chance
You know if sirfetch had more screentime he could be as much as an ace itself ,man that pokemon is champ mon killer with will of infinity
Technically you could have used Greninja in the realistic team. Ash released goodra and goodra came back in the league. Ash ran into Greninja before the masters 8, so technically Greninja could have promised off screen to come and help for the league
I dunno if anyone mentioned this but the charizard problem is that he isnt NECESSARILY resistance to ground. When facing Gary, Golem's magnitude damaged Charizard. Also whereas Infernape struggled with a Moltres, I mean the thing is half Flying and is legendary. Charizard had the type advantage on all accounts so thats not a fair comparison.
I personally prefer Infernape over Charizard. Comparing Charizard vs Articuno and Infernape vs Moltres is not completely fair because Fire-type moves (which are both Charizard’s and Infernape’s main attacks) are strong against Articuno. Also, Infernape’s Flamethrower in the Sinnoh League was way stronger than any of Charizard’s Flamethrower we have seen. Great video anyway.
How did u measure whose flamethrower was strong😂
That Articuno knew water moves.
@Charston Purely based on the animation.
@Code Red That is true but I think you missed my point. Both Charizard’s and Infernape’s true strength lies on the flames. Charizard was able to take full advantage of its Fire-type moves against Articuno. Infernape was not able to do the same against Moltres. Infernape had a huge type disadvantage against Moltress because Infernape’s all STAB moves are resisted by a Fire- and Flying Pokemon like Moltres.
@@tpthpt5973 it was just the fact that technically the company improved its animation and portrayal of moves. Charizard straight up overpowered a legendary pokemon's move with his flamethrower and it also deflected reshiram blue flamethrower with its flamethrower, I don't think infernape's flamethrower is in par with that power, the only way infernape's flamethrower would come close to charizard's, is if it activates its blaze. So consider a scenario were zard also has blaze, infernape's blaze flame would be so much inferior compred to it.
Instead of what we got, since we’ll be saying goodbye to Ash and Pikachu, the last season with him should have included a tournament with Ash’s ultimate team from the entire franchise, disregarding released pokemon or have them return for that tournament only
So what I'm getting is that if Ash didn't own any other Fighting-Type Pokémon, Infernape would've actually had a shot on the Ultimate Team, dam.
Also R.I.P. Incineroar. He can't even be argued as Ash's strongest Fire-Type because he has no feats as a Incineroar. The closest we can compare him to is Kukui's Incineroar.
You know it would be cool to have you build a ultimate team around each of Ash's ace pokemon from each region
Ash's Champion Team if he were to Cameo in the Scarlet and Violet Anime:
Pikachu (Main Ace)
Greninja (Kalos Ace)
Charizard (Kanto Ace)
Lucario (Worlds Ace)
Annihilape (Paldea Ace)
Krookodile (Unova Ace)
That’s actually pretty simple.
Excluding Pikachu, each of Ash’s ace Pokemon in each region are:
Kanto/Johto: Charizard.
Hoenn: Sceptile.
Sinnoh: Infernape.
Unova: Krookodile.
Kalos: Greninja.
Alola: Lycanroc. (Not counting Nebby or Naganadel here.)
Journeys/Worlds: Lucario.
My Ash team would be: Pikachu, Greninja, Infernape, Sceptile, Krookodile, and Lucario
Ash’s best competitive team would prob have gliscor, incineroar, dnite as back bone. And other compositions. Torkoal sun team, sneak in a ttar or garchomp cuz ash carried larvitar and gible, or melmetal and dracovish if allowed
100% accurate and correct. Job well done
Like it's not even a slight against Infernape. (If there was one last battle in the anime bring back Gary) Allow Infernape to beat Gary's Regidrago. Trust me Infernape is hype as hell but that legendary issue is what is the defining factor between Charizard and Infernape.
The thing I'd also add. In a battle who would you rather want. Ash's Sceptile or Ash's Torterra? (Thank God Torterra learned Frenzy Plant). Those two are defined by Win Rate. Sceptile despite its Win Rate bested an Undefeated Darkrai. Beating Mythicals is unheard of. (Melmetal notwithstanding). An argument can be made that Sceptile's over Darkrai is better than Pikachu's Win over Brandon's Regice. (Dream Eater vs Rest). Put respect on Sceptile's name. It stood toe to toe with Speed Forme Deoxys (Fastest Pokémon in existence at the time) and Darkrai. It wins out.
Great video! I actually want to see more videos like this about what Pokémon Ash should have used in his battles against Cynthia and Steven.
Zac you should do a video about building a team around every single ash ketchum pokemon for example building a team around snivy
i agree
That's covering too many pokemon and just reusing the same ideas :/
@@ElectroBlastLuigi you're right ✅
Love the tier list, but Gliscor is kinda a beast imo. The dude trained with the Air Battle Master and put in work against Paul by taking out Drapion
That guy has the least win percentage he doesn't did anything besides defeating drapion and bastiodon
Yeah, and he lost almost every other fight he was in. He couldn't even defeat Scizor in a rematch
I remember the six Pokémon/Pocket Monsters from the Nintendo Switch, 5 of Pikachu, Charizard, Incineroar, Greninja, and Lucario are from the Super Smash Bros Ultimate and 1 of Infernape is from the Brilliant Diamond and Shiny Pearl!
The real best team were the friends we made along the way
Honestly Zac your videos are super high quality and very inspiring to me. It makes me want to edit for 3000 hours on a single video. Great teams btw couldn't have made them better myself
Thanks, bro! I really appreciate the kind words :)
Having a Ground weakness isn’t as bad when Earthquake is banned, though.
True but there's still Dig, Earth Power and Scorching Sands to deal with
I never liked the idea of Ash using older pokemon in the final battles of the most important tournament of a new series because it's like:
He spent the whole season/arc training with a pokemon team just to replace them with pokemon that already got the spotlight in the past?
That wouldn't feel right.
I know it's hypothetical but also:
Wouldn't Dragonite or Dracovish be able to take care of the Ground type weakness in both teams?
Well I like to call Ash's Unfezant as "Uun-pha-sant" kinda like the chess move "en-passant", where the newly moved pawn gets captured in an unusual way without doing anything.
There's a reason you had so much trouble with building for the ground type, it's the most balanced in the game with one immunity, one untouchable, and 3 strong against, and 3 weak to, types.
I’m really happy about both ultimate teams because my boy LUCARIO!!!!!!! made it on to both teams
Given all his feats in journeys I'd say he deserves to be there
It's important to note that the concept of "final forms" for Pokémon or characters is not officially defined in the Pokémon franchise. However, based on the Pokémon you've mentioned, it seems like you're referring to a hypothetical scenario where Ash Ketchum has reached his peak with different sets of Pokémon over the years.
In terms of the battle between the two teams you've listed:
Team 1:
Pikachu
Sceptile
Charizard
Lucario
Gengar
Krokorok
Team 2:
Pikachu
Greninja
Nebby (possibly referring to the Legendary Pokémon Nebby/Cosmog)
Sceptile
Charizard
Lucario
Determining the winner would depend on various factors such as the level of training, strategy, and the specific moves each Pokémon has. Additionally, the presence of Nebby, being a Legendary Pokémon, could add a significant advantage to Team 2.
Here's a general analysis:
Pikachu vs. Pikachu: This would likely be a close match, as both are powerful Electric-type Pokémon. It could come down to their movesets, experience, and strategy.
Sceptile vs. Sceptile: Similarly, the outcome would depend on factors like levels, movesets, and the strategy employed in the battle.
Charizard vs. Charizard: Again, this would be a close match, with factors like Mega Evolution potentially coming into play.
Lucario vs. Lucario: Like the previous matchups, the outcome would hinge on the factors mentioned earlier.
Greninja vs. Gengar: Greninja has a type advantage with its Water-type moves against Gengar's Ghost/Poison typing, which could give Team 2 an edge.
Nebby (Cosmog) vs. Krokorok: Nebby, being a Legendary Pokémon, might have a significant advantage over Krokorok, a Ground/Dark-type Pokémon.
Ultimately, the outcome of the battle is highly subjective and would depend on how the trainers (Ash) utilize their Pokémon, their strategy, and the specific attributes of each Pokémon involved. The Pokémon world is diverse and dynamic, so predicting a clear winner can be challenging.

The outcome of a Pokémon battle often relies on the trainers' strategies, their understanding of their Pokémon's strengths and weaknesses, and the specific movesets each Pokémon possesses. Let's consider how Ash might utilize his Pokémon and employ strategic thinking in the battle:
Type Advantage: Trainers often leverage type advantages in Pokémon battles. For example, if Team 2's Greninja faces Team 1's Gengar, Ash may choose Water-type moves for Greninja to exploit Gengar's weakness to Water.
Mega Evolution: If applicable, Mega Evolution could play a crucial role in the battle. Ash's Charizard is known to Mega Evolve, and this could give him a significant power boost. The timing of Mega Evolution and the choice of moves afterward become critical.
Tactical Switches: Trainers can strategically switch Pokémon during the battle to gain a type advantage or avoid taking damage. Ash might switch Pokémon based on the current matchup to keep the upper hand.
Status Moves and Abilities: Status moves and abilities can impact the battle beyond just dealing damage. For instance, if one Pokémon has a move that can lower the opponent's stats or cause a status condition, Ash might use this to his advantage.
Environmental Factors: If the battle takes place in a specific environment (e.g., a battlefield with water or tall grass), trainers might use it to their advantage. Certain moves and abilities work differently in different environments.
Legendary Pokémon's Unique Abilities: If Nebby is a Legendary Pokémon, it may possess unique and powerful abilities. Ash would likely capitalize on these abilities to gain an edge in the battle.
Team Synergy: The synergy between Pokémon on the same team is crucial. Trainers often build teams that cover each other's weaknesses and complement each other's strengths. Ash would ensure that his team works well together to face various challenges.
Adaptability: Adaptability is a key trait for successful trainers. If a battle takes an unexpected turn, Ash would need to adapt his strategy quickly and make effective decisions on the fly.
Ultimately, the battle's outcome would depend on the combination of these factors and how well Ash can read the battle, anticipate his opponent's moves, and make strategic decisions. Pokémon battles are dynamic, and the best trainers demonstrate versatility, adaptability, and a deep understanding of their Pokémon's capabilities.
I'm starting watching this almost reboot this weekend... the audacity to give a Dragonite to Ash while he is the guy that made Charizard the second mascot of the franchise.
This may not be the best overall team but in my opinion it would be the best symbolically team, that being
Pikachu the mascot of the entire series
Gengar for Kanto
Herracros for Jhoto
Sceptile for Hoenn
Lucario for Sinnoh
And Krokodile for Unova
Plus the mega stone for Kalos
Z move for Alola
And the g-max band for Galar
This way Ash would have one element for all the main regions he went through, showing that all those journeys were a necesary step for him to become world champion, not only that but it would be fitting that the champion of the world would truly
Represent all of the regions, having with him a piece of all of them, rather then representing more only one of them like Leon who has mostly only Galar mons or the team Ash used who has more Kanto mons
2:40 Ash never released Goodra, he's a Pokemon that can be called upon like his Squirtle
That's called released buddy
Must say it. Very good choice of Pokemon on the list Zac! Nice job on it 🔥
If we’re being hypothetical, the best option for technically both teams would be garchomp if gible ever evolved, then there’d be no need for charizard or ground weaknesses considering it’s ground and dragon so it’s move pool is significantly better, for reference whenever I play a Pokémon game that has garchomp I run mine with flamethrower, dig, dragon tail and either swords dance or earthquake
Those are much better teams than what he went it on the actual battle.
I know this was a year ago, but I'm going to say this all the same: Ash's ultimate team is Pikachu, Charizard, Sceptile, Greninja, and two ringers. Pikachu is mandatory because he's Ash's starter, and the latter three are mandatory not only because they're his regional aces, but because they're each the first fully-evolved starter Pokemon of their respective types; once Frogadier evolved into Greninja, Ash had himself a fully-evolved equivalent of his old team of Bulbasaur, Charmander and Squirtle. So both competitively and thematically, Ash's ultimate team would have to include these three. The two ringers are there for flexibility and so that everyone's boi can get some spotlight.
A Zac video won’t be complete without the Satoshi Gekkouga 👌👌
Nobody says it better than Zac
I gotta be honest here. As much as it makes sense to have Charizard over infernape, it’s not that surprising that Infernape went down to the legendary bird and Charizard didn’t. Charizard had the type advantage. (Fire>Ice) and infernape had a disadvantage (flying>fighting) so I think there is more to prove but I still think you’re right
krookodile is definitely underrated and if it has the moxie ability can really snowball the damage as well, out of his fire types i agree charizard would be the best way for him to go, i think incineroar honestly wouldn't be a bad option however that ground type weakness that already exsists with pikachu, lucario, gengar is defineitely a problem. I do think you could make a case for dracovish, its typing can be a bit tricky to deal with. i love incineroar considering its back story, so im partially bias. ive used krookodile and incineroar for myself both have served me well.
But Greninja was released. Also, Solgaleo is basically a Legendary, as you said. Had Ash caught it, it would basically make its Trainer UNFAIRLY unstoppable.
*_I refuse to believe that Satoshi-Gekkouga is retconned!_*
It's legacy remains forever
Me too
Zac: “Lucario and Ash’s aura ability to reach new heights in battle I split armor”
Also Zac: “the aura thing with Ash greninja is the coolest thing in Pokémon ever”
Pikachu, Greninja, Sceptile, and either Charizard or Infernape will definitly be there.
How about none of them
@@pn2294 How can't they? They are his best Pokémon that he ever had.
@@zacharygate9842 plot armor
@Gelo Watch he say Greninja 6 times because of battle bond and "XY is underrated"
@Gelo Pikachu plus 5 other Pokémon
Plot armor will carry him to victory
Let's not forget that most of gengar's wins shown in this video were due to his g-max capability. And gengar probably wouldn't have beaten Steven's aggron if it weren't for 🤬 burn damage. So I'd probably wouldn't put gengar in an ultimate team. Considering its got shity win rates in the masters tournament.
I personally think that this should be Ash’s Ultimate Team.
1. Pikachu.
2. Sceptile.
3. Charizard.
4. Lucario.
5. Greninja.
6. Lycanroc.
Ash’s Lycanroc is so broken. Also, I am counting released Pokémon.
Bro how is Ash’s Rare Lyrcanroc not here 😢
Thats what I’m saying bruh 😭
I think dracovish should really be on ashes restricted team. As a water dragon type it covers his ground weakness and only adds a weakness to fairy and electric, both of which are countered by gengar and sceptile. Plus, dracovish is just an awesome Pokémon that has a great win rate and has access to fishious rend.
Dracovish isn't weak to electric
And it's only great as far as strength goes. Appearance wise, don't bet on it
Good team choices my guy, keep up the good work!
I like how his most overpowered Pokémon in the entire series are the starter Pokémon, HE LITERALLY HAS A GLISCOR BUT HE USES A FLAME MONKEY
Now I want a Infernape centric team 😅.
I wish he had caught an electivire because if his training with Pikachu made Picchu as strong as he is imagine what he could do with electivire
We have a whole half of the team in common, actually:
Pikachu (obviously)
Charizard
Lucario
But I say he should get his Pidgeot back and have it Mega Evolve
^Dragonite can substitute for sub purists
And I remain convinced they made Annihilape just to give Ash his Primeape back
And finally, Gliscor. Covers Ground weakness by *being* Ground-type
I feel bad for Infernape, but it makes sense since a few of Ash's strongest Pokemon, including Infernape, are weak to Ground-type attacks.
Is no one gonna talk about Zactoshi-Gekkouga just cutting Ash’s B-Tier and below Pokémon, that’s sick as hell, and Zac if you see this, I built Ash’s Realistic Team in Sword in honor of him before he leaves the anime
You really used your rational mind to make a smart party lineup! So proud of youz!
Beats the heck out of "Ash believes in his Pokemon, so they can beat anybody because of determination or whatever!"
Having Mega Evolution, a Z-Move, Gigantamax, AND Battle Bond Greninja is actually absurd in its own right for a no holds barred 6-on-6 bout with Leon. Ash kinda wipes on that principle alone, that’s a LOT of powerful gimmicks tied to his belt.
Mega Lucario
Solganium Z (make up something, idk man)
Gigantamax Pikachu
Ash-Greninja
Oh, and Sceptile. lol.
Edit: I am so happy that Krookodile got the recognition he deserved. He was like the thread that kept Unova from being downright unwatchable, I loved that Croc so much. Part of why I actually look for his evolutionary line when I play Gen 6 and 7 especially, he’s super awesome.
Gliscor is an underrated pick on this list, a lot of his losses are when he was a gligar and he has hell of a lot of versatility in ash’s team
I'm happy that Lucario was put on BOTH of the teams.
