Hello! I am Brazilian. Excuse me if I write wrong. I have a RE20 and would like to have a DM2w. Do you think the two pedals are equivalent or would it be better to have an EHX Memory Man (for example) to complement? Thank you! And excuse me the bad english.
Big box DMM is one of the best delay pedals you can get, grab one when you have chance. It's clearer/brighter than DM2w.
To answer your question, the DM2w would be darker and melt into your guitar tones and will stays behind your playing, whereas the RE20 will always be brighter, more attack and presence. I think the DM2w will complement your spanky RE20 perfectly for ambient or moody solo. Both are amazing though.

FYI, the eq is for the reverb only, which you had turned down all the way at the beginning , and you were in the modes on the left side which didn’t have reverb anyway lol. But I love hearing your reviews, and have an original Ibanez analog delay on my board right now, was looking at the RE-20 so thanks for the comparison 😁
Hey there. The eq is not just for the reverb. It also affects the delay
Hahaha. You are both wrong. The EQ is only for the delay! That’s what the manual says and that’s what can be heard

You should try the NUX Tape Core. It is also a Roland RE-201 clone. The tape heads and various parameters are programmable via USB. One of the best pedals i have! Gives ypur tone a totally new dimension. These too echoes from the video are also amazing.

very good delays pedals indeed , diferent one to each other and unique in their own ways, well ... i guess you should have both 🙊🙊🙊 i like to use 2 delays (they give you great flexibility and great textures) you should also try Catalinbread Echorec it is a very inspiring little gold box , (i use it next to a Nux tape Echo until i get the Boss RE20) great video 🙂👍
