I use the Dm-101, it’s a DM-1 and 2 on steroids!! The DD-8 is great for a bit of everything :) the DD-500 is the best for experimenting and has a very nice vintage digital sound option! Actually, I have played with most boss delays, none are bad :) just get the one that suits you best :) I think the ones I have never played on is the DD-6 and 7 :) but my overall favourite has to be the new Dm-101, it has mojo! For the little pedals! Has to be the DM-2w
Another great review- good mix of info, riffs and fun. Agree about the 101. Boss really are making some fantastic gear just now. Would suggest anyone just starting out looks at the dd8- best features for the money.
Question about he SDE 3000 EVH. I did some thing and set up that is making me unable to use the tap tempo. My question is how do I get the tap tempo back? When I hit the tap tempo, the delay goes off.
Loved this vid. Has Dagan done a vid on loopers and how to pentatonic scales fiddle/jam/mess about/practice using a looper if you are a sausage fingered intermediate player?
@@DaganWilkin - Bless you Dagan, I love your content, it's helped me a lot. Please consider doing something on the jump from Beginner to Intermediate, electric. I started with the excellent Alfred books during Lockdown but am hitting a wall. I want to push the Intermediate/Advanced boundaries but don't know where to go book wise (I can't afford +£35 per 30 mins lessons). Fender research has shown that a lot of intermediates give up coz they hit a wall. I can understand why. Do you know any decent electric intermediate/advanced books you might recommend?
I was about to ask why would someone choose DD3T over DD8 which offers so much more for similar price but then i checked prices on sweetwater - difference 35 $ (155 vs 190). In Europe the difference is 17 $ (153 vs 170), so it's pretty much no brainer here imho.
After watching many people supposedly reveiwing the DM-100 & RE-202 on UA-cam, I decided to order one of each to try with my rig. It took me ten minutes on each of them to find out they wouldn't do job for me as well as the Strymon Volante does. Why ? because there's no editing on the head spacings and individual head levels, which to me matters a lot. I sent them back. If people would actually play something recognisable to get a better idea, instead of creaming over useless features such as oscillation, it would be of more use.
The DD200 is the way to go. Everything you need, without having to dive through a million menus. Plus it leaves you tons of pedal board space...
I love the DD3. Love the 80's.

The DD500 is my delay of choice, an absolute powerhouse. How on earth did you not include that one???
DD200 does what the DD500 does, it's just a smaller unit and will fit on more pedalboards
@@TheMarioExpertMan , t he DD200 is a scaled-down version of the DD500. It doesn't have all the features or power of the DD500.
Love the space echo re-2
And another Awesome video by Dagan !!!
👍😎
Question for ya Dagan if u were to chose one pedal for 80's & 90"s DD3T or DM2W ???
Dagan is the best in the business
The Waza Craft is the quickest & easiest access to the most commonly used slap to long/infinite repeat settings.

Can you do a video on the ECHOPLEX ?

great vid as usual, would love to see a sam fender gear guide
There was a super-thin necked glittery guitar behind Dagan - how does anyone ever play that?
If it’s the one seen at 14:58 and again at approx 26:30, it’s a Fender Jazz Bass of some kind. Yes they have slender necks.
The Fender Mikey Way signature Jazz Bass 👍
@@DaganWilkinlove your videos, learned more from you over the years than my own dad, never met either of you...

Thanks for removing the nail polish.
