is it possible to do both post rego
have a question . . . why is it that SUVs equipped with suspension lift have different lift height at the front & rear? for e.g. a lifted 2021 GMC Yukon Denali (1YC) 4WD + 2.0 in. Lift 6.2 V8 5-Dr Full Size SUV (LHD) or a lifted SUZUKI Jimny VX (JB64W) AllGRIP Pro 4WD + 2.0 in. Lift 1.5 Biturbo I4 3-Dr SUV (RHD) . . . both SUVs feature a 2.0 in. lift at the front wheels & 1.5 in. of lift at the rear . . . why is the 1.5 in. lift at the rear less than that of the 2.0 in. lift at front? is it not possible to have the same 2.0 in. of lift both at the front & rear? if not, why? please advise . . .
Im building a 79 with portals this year. what's involved in coils pre rego? does it make a difference to post rego? any advantages with lift flex etc?
it is a lot better for the Approval to do it pre rego, just make it simpler in the long run, give us a call on 07 5433 1411 and they guys can go through all the options with you.
Hey superior, is that possible to switch from portals ( pre rego ) to coil post rego making it road legal still as you just done in the video?
Yeah mate it may be possible but it depends on the state, contact our sales team at sales@superiorengineering.com.au and they can talk through it with you.
whats a pricing for a coil coversion for a 76? on road drive away
Please give us a call on 07 5433 1411 for a price mate.
Doesn't Mark's already have its own diff-widened housing?
We used our housing as it was already set up for our coil conversion.
Yer but i think marks only does leafs not coils. Is that right?
@@joelfrancis5391 Correct.
Is this kit in 2020 goin to work with a 300ml chassis extension? Cheers
Are you referring to the portal kit with the coil conversion?
Yep. Portals coils chassis extension. ?
@@joelfrancis5391 please wait for the new year and what we have planned ;)

Superior Engineering any closer to being ready?
You should have painted the raw steel inside of the holes you drilled in the chassis to prevent them rusting the coil spring conversion frame bolts & weakening them.
Those exposed chrome shock absorber shafts & seals won't last 10 minutes on a dirt road from gravel blast pitting, couple of months of dirt driving & they'll be ready for new shafts and a rebuild & rubber bellow boots or shields.
We did paint in the holes mate that was just a test fit up to get everything in place, and with the shocks there are a number of brands including us that run shocks with exposed shafts and none of us have had any issues.
We use high tensile steel shafts with a hard chrome coating, it is extremely hard and resistant to damage.
@@superiorengineering Where does the rear sway bar mount, I don't see any pads on the housing & I thought your track correction housings are not swaybar compatible?
@@dustyfarmer It is a custom sway bar we have made to fit the conversion, the standard sway bar will not work with the conversion.
More on the Rustproofing above we also coat the inside of the chassis with rust preventative to help stop rust also.
What's the GVM after this upgrade
We only did the coil conversion on this one mate, no GVM increase.
