That's one awesome rig mate. The 300mm chassis extension makes the rig look perfect.

Thank you. It was definitely worth doing, it makes the car ride a lot nicer too!

Looks like every other 79 out there, except bit more of a loan taken out for the fancy axles.

How does all the expense improve the view and get you closer to nature ? Especially when the hire 4wd's get to all the same places.
I bet the guy is saddled with debt and interest rates are rising. All these people are doing is building a penis extension so they can brag to their mates and play confirmation bias games with each other.

Did you take it to Just Autos and get the DPF removed and the EGR blanked?

It's not everybody's cup of tea, but we like being well equipped, comfortable and capable to tackle different tracks! Stay tuned for the next episode, we show how the tennis court folds out from the back of the canopy ;)

Hey mate, not to bad. Cheaper than wrapping the car! It's definitely been worth having to save the paint.

Hey mate, I do these every 5k, easy enough to do and don't hold a lot of oil.
I absolutely love the portals mate but I guess it comes down to what you are using them for.

@@mainelybuds8543 I really hope the guy has zero debt because it's a free country and he can do whatever he likes but I have my doubts. I reckon he's refinanced his home loan and borrowed money from his father.
I wish him good health but I fear it's like the majority of the others - A credit card cowboy. There's about to be a massive crunch and those saddled up with debt are going to be destitute. Inflation is really at about 15% and will go to 25% in the next 2 years. Interest rates are heading north too.
There will be a social collapse in the West.

Then, when times get tough, their front yard is full of toys for sale so they can make their next mortgage payment. I guess it's all about priorities. It is a cool rig though, if I won the lottery.

    I have a question or two :
    a) How does all this expense get you closer to nature ?
    b) How does all this expense improve the view ?
Police, Rangers, Aborigines, hire 4wd's and farmers all get to the same spots.
