Zactyr you can adjust them to be above or below the cosmedic...and usually the only affects that cover the item are lower tier ones like steam or stormy storm...although my sunbeams charmers is hard to see because...sunbeams

"I never get kills with the smg." -does math.- If your point blank it does 12 pershot other wise its around 8 damage in mid range. With 25 shots it does 300 damage if you don't miss and 96 at mid range if you don't miss. This means if you can aim you can kill at lest half of the classes in the game when they are to close to use your snip-per with only using one clip. Now use Sydney Sleeper to mini crit people then use the smg then your doing 11-16 a shot on top of the damage you did with the Sleeper meaning you can kill a lone hovy assuming they don't know your not there.
My favorite load out for soldier is rocket launcher + gunboats + market gardener, on hightower its great, you can airshot and market garden everyone :3
My favorite pyro loadout is lime painted mair mask, googol glass eyes, and circling peace sign sole mate australium gold. I use backburner, detonator/res shot/melter and 3rd deg/back scratch.
