- In this video, I show off some of my favourite loadouts using TF2's most overpowered strategy: flanking. Every TF2 player has tunnel vision so flanking = easy wins :)

Im a spy/ demo main my self 70% of demo time as hybird knight/ demoknight and i love upward as ot great for both if my mains

Looked frame by frame by pausing and using [ ] on my keyboard
That pyro has the thermal thruster equipped, so he flew up to that spot to fight your demo while you were checking outside
Your demo has the loose cannon equipped, and pushed the pyro back toward you through the doorway using the grenade knockback
You can see his boots flying through the doorway at the top of the frame at 9:29

Also there was pyro getting hit sound that can be seen in the log on the HUD

Fun fact I learned about the Dragon's Fury is that its projectile is actually two distinct halves. One is large and causes afterburn on anything it hits, and the other, much smaller one is what actually deals the upfront damage.
One of my favorite parts about getting behind (especially as Scout) is that half the enemy team suddenly decides "fuck the objective, I have to kill this guy NOW" - especially after they've died a couple of times. Nobody ever seems to think "if I ignore the idiot behind us, I'll be more of a help to my team".

as a fellow flank connoisseur, i recommend using the back scratcher with pyro, since youre mostly not around friendly medics and dispensers. the hp you get from hp packs with it is crazy and perfect for the flank playstyle, and you already got extra mobility from the detonator/jetpack
It's hard to describe the irritation I feel, watching you destroy all our teleporter entrances.
Some of the most fun I've had in the game is quickfix pocketing a maniac flanker.
Not always effective BUT. It's a lot of fun helping sustain a good troll.
When your flanking you become somewhat like a shark singling out stray targets and killing discretly.
Also gotta love the dragon’s fury for its destruction capabilities due to its base damage being extremely high for buildings

My favorite thing to do with the Dragon's Fury is to reflect rockets back at too close soldiers. They never expect it from the weapon and always catches them off guard.
I would say that flanking is surprisingly effective, but only if you're not expecting - and on certain maps, any experienced player will expect it. The maps where it's *really* OP are the ones where nobody expects and it's timed well enough that they can't do anything about it by the time the realize you've flanked.
Some maps aren't meant for flanking - dustbowl, for example. It almost never works there, except on the last map on last point if red pushes up too far. But others are perfect for it - bread space, for example. On the largest maps, once someone flanks and tries to retreat to an area far from the fighting, chasing after the flanker can be more of an advantage to their team than it is to yours and it's often better to just have one guy watch the flank and wait for the flanker to return for what they expect to be a surprise attack.
But a lot of the time, a large chunk of the team goes off to chase that one scout, or demoman, or soldier, allowing the bulk of the other team to overtake their team... meanwhile, the survivors chasing that flanker end up getting pincered and the flanker dies, but not before getting the rest of their team a ton of kills.
My thought also is the Dragons Fury. I love that thing

I like doing this and finding an inactive teleporter,and waiting for the engineer to build an exit to destroy the entrance so they have to trek back and face me to rebuild the entrance

flanking is my favorite thing to do in pubs and flank routes are the #1 thing that affects whether i like a map or not :)

flanking as sniper is funny as well since you can do some trolling.
use the hitman's heatmaker since it has a suppressor/silencer which makes your shots very quiet in comparison to his other guns. then just walk behind the enemy team and shoot from a hidden spot. it requires more aim than the spy but it is effectively the same thing.
fun fact I was in a game with sea the same day this came out and I lost my mind.

My preferred flanking is still with Spy, it's pretty much the usual thing sure, but it's funny how many people you can hold down to be distracted by placing a shot or two in the back and then sneaking away. Steal a backstab here and there if you can, if not no big deal, harassing an Engineer's teleporter is always the goal in my eyes. Forcing their team to walk can be a bigger reason for the others to get invested, then you've got people switching to Pyro just to try and sniff you out. Even if they kill you, you get to keep a headcount of how many classes it took to screw in that lightbulb.

Basically demo man and soldier flanking is just flying in the air untill a enemy is seen
He doesn't upload much, but when he does it is always a good video.
Genuinely use the sticky jumper and loose cannon or iron bomber if I have particularly good players to fight . Loose cannon is great against low to medium skilled players in a way you demonstrated earlier.
It's about time that someone actually made a video about flanking. Thanks for bringing attention to it, lad.

The dragon's fury is a great weapon. You just got to know how to use it, which is exactly what you do here. Wow.
7:10 dragon's fury is also very powerful because it spurts flame particles in your face, and if you ever had a weaker pc (80% of tf2's playerbase) you'll know that particles in particular (pun intended) Lag your game as heck, making you vulnerable even more
i recommand you to give the rocket jumper with some shotgun a go. its really fun
