In the friendly demo part you forgot that you can abuse the overall player base's bloodlust fueled tunnel vision whenever they see a spy to effortlessly bait them into sticky traps.
That's the best part with spy honestly when you have a demo friend. Literally every player forgets everything else to hunt down a spy that snuck that you can lead them into danger with precise movement
Same as sentries and heavy, even if both are audible and somewhat visible to them, most will still blindly go after the spy only to get torn up by a big russian angry man or more gun on a tripod.
The transition where he talk about a friendly class before said class is killed by the next enemy class he is about to talk about is a really nice artistic choice.
Fun fact: backstabbing an übered enemy, while not doing any damage, still pushes them. So, if you are behind a medic currently übering, and he is on a ledge, you can push them off with the stab, launching them away from their teammates to waste their über, or even off the map to their death in some cases
12:26 I find that it's more effective to decloak behind a Heavy eating a Sandvich, then immediately cloak and run off. Psychological damage is extremely effective.

Just started getting into tf2 maining the medic and one of my favourite rare moments is when i turn around, catch a spy coming up to me, and watching them awkwardly walk away while i stare them down and cant even shout them out to who im healing or the rest of my team due to being F2P. The most awkward staredown lmao
The ninth playable individual from the hit game "Team Fortress 2" - Which is often abbreviated to "TF2" - is in posession of a weapon in the first slot that can be used to launch bullets at opponents via the use of a trigger, that of which will send a powerful force through the firearm's barrel, igniting gunpowder which - in turn - will send an aluminium projectile at high velocity towards the target.
One way I've been able to utilize friendly Snipers is that people seem to really not care about sightlines when they're chasing a Spy. I've walked so many people into having their heads blown off it's absurd. It's also difficult for them to swap their attention, since the weapons that tend to be good at killing Spies aren't effective at killing somebody half a mile away.
As medic main, one moment that I love so much of team working with a spy was when a match on 2Fort we attacking the intel room with 3 engineer's nest and a pyro defending in there. As medic I arrived to witness a heavy and a soldier dying outside of enemy intel room and despite I fully healed them and I have the Ubercharge ready they says No to attacking that room, at the same time a friendly spy walk into the scene and forward on to check the inside of the enemy intel room. I grab the opportunity and sync my medic's beam to the spy and as he peaking to see the inside, I pop the Ubercharge on the spy and we go HAM on those engineers and the pyro got trick stabbed. Everything get sapped and quickly the heavy and the soldier came in to help cleaning up the room. Never underestimated the Uber Spy.
I’m just gonna say, your one of the best tf2ubers and UA-camrs in general Jonto, your editing and Humor are brilliant and you should always take your time. And yelled out "Hollow purple!" as he proceeded to open a domain of smoke and disguises, putting the tf2 characters in an endless loop of trying to find the spy and said "Trick stab!" and summoned swipez. This was honestly such a moment of psychology (big fan btw)
There was actually a joke with those exact words at the start of the friendly scout segment, but it killed the pacing so it got cut I would have said it right after “…from unexpected angles” but it was too many jokes in quick succession especially since the Nintendo switch joke would have followed right after
@@Zman6258 It means you're cut off from the "get tf away" option and gotta fight the pyro or chain health packs close-by together, or have a team right behind you. Much more afterburn uptime at bigger range that's easier to hit then normal flaregun. Especially with detonator, unironically, since high ground won't matter unlike with scorch shot, plus with it pyro _can_ close the distance to you.
The detonator not only gives pyros a way to set you on fire from a distance, but also a way to close distance. However, this can also be exploited if you see it coming, like rocket jumps.
Idk if anyone has said this but. I really love the way these videos are presented. The way each segment switches to another via a little cutscene is really cool.
Something I think is underutilized is disguising as friendly pyros, demoknights and engineers and *letting* the enemy see you from a distance in their back line before you run off and switch disguises. Sending them on a wild goose chase while you're already at their front line, working with your team. And even if they don't chase, they're gonna be paranoid of a flanker that doesn't even exist.
I'm glad someone has taken the time to not just describe match-ups against opposing classes, but also describe friendly match-ups with the same classes. Thank you, Jontohil :)

Aggressive pyros play a lot like scouts, especially those utilizing flanks and jetpacks, so be prepared to use the “whoever gets spotted first” tactic, with the caveat of the extra chaos that pyro can cause drawing more eyes than a scout.
As Pyromain I wanna share some additional things I noticed over my year in TF2 that might even out the playing field against us a little bit: When it comes to hiding from Pyros another thing that should be mentioned is that where a Pyro checks often also depends on his experience. Less experienced Pyros often just frantically wave flames around whereas more experienced Pyros tend to deliberately check corners where they know from experience spies often hide tho even those pyros rarely shoot up so trying to additionally climb objects makes it more likely to get away. Also if you use the cloak and dagger keep an eye on the Pyros checking behaviour because most pyros don't check the same corner twice in one sweep. As for the spycicle what I noticed is that a lot of inexperienced Spies think it lets them hide completely unnoticed from flames so I wanna give an additional tip: The melting is supposed to help you run away without getting traced by afterburn, or fight back while flame resistant. Never use it to hide (unless the Pyro is very inexperienced) as the cicle makes a very loud and destinct hissing noise upon melting that's audible for everybody and as subtle as the Deadringer uncloak. Trying to run from a scorch shot Pyro is roughly as annoying as fighting one but if you have decent enough health to sacrifice or know a healthpack is around you can attempt to use the flares knockback to gain some additional distance, tho that's pretty risky and not nearly as effective as surfing a Solider rocket it can get you somewhat out of range. Another personal advice I have is to not always go for the closest healthpack as experienced Pyros expect Spys that run off to do exactly that and might use them as bait (or at least that's what I do), seeing a healthpack disappear gives a pretty clear picture of where a Spy went and unless a large ammo pack is also there you'll find yourself with more health but less cloak to get away with. All that mentiones the animations and editing on your videos keep getting better and better, those one character to another transitions are peak.
I REALLY like the way this is written and edited with every class both enemy and ally having some sort of interaction with the BLU spy main character - really gives a narrative cohesion to the video. Keep up the good work. I love binging your videos while trying to survive college!

the transitions are PERFECT AND THEN SOME
also, with spy hunting tunnle vision, you could lure target into a sniper sightline
Aggressive pyros play a lot like scouts, especially those utilizing flanks and jetpacks, so be prepared to use the “whoever gets spotted first” tactic, with the caveat of the extra chaos that pyro can cause drawing more eyes than a scout.
As Pyromain I wanna share some additional things I noticed over my year in TF2 that might even out the playing field against us a little bit:
When it comes to hiding from Pyros another thing that should be mentioned is that where a Pyro checks often also depends on his experience.
As for the spycicle what I noticed is that a lot of inexperienced Spies think it lets them hide completely unnoticed from flames so I wanna give an additional tip:
The melting is supposed to help you run away without getting traced by afterburn, or fight back while flame resistant.

He's already gone...
21:00 Am I hearing evil Jontohil2 teaching Red team to fight blue spy? Scary!
Dude this is some of the best editing I've seen in a long time. You KILLED IT!

3:00 Just as a PSA - don't be this guy.
Please don't walk around with *only* the Scout Disguise.
I REALLY like the way this is written and edited with every class both enemy and ally having some sort of interaction with the BLU spy main character - really gives a narrative cohesion to the video.
Keep up the good work. I love binging your videos while trying to survive college!
I fucking love the editing, it's god tier! New sub earned.
4:35 Engineers too man, they really love that
21:25 can I... can I trickstab with the backburner?
If you make their back crit, your a spy (so yes)
5:37 Quality father-son time
I did not need to know any of these as I have hundreds of hours on spy, but the production quality is so good I watched it just for that
For friendly demoknights and it’s subclasses it’s a mix of a flanker and a soldier/demo/heavy
