Most other articles and forums assume he's asexual since it's the one that makes the most sense, far as I know the creators never conform this either so it's not exactly canon just open to interpretation.

Honestly Jello sounds young and “Jello” in the video sounds older than what we are used to
I've met him at an anime convention before and granted it's been like 2 years but that's definitely him (or like....his brother? Does he have a brother? Jello, if you're reading this, do you have a brother?).
You have to keep in mind that people can and will sound different outside of a recording booth/ voice over setup, and will pretty much always look different from whatever cartoon avatar you might be used to seeing them portray themselves as, especially if they've been using the same avatar for years.
