Thank you for making this video. I just purchased this battery to use with my CPAP since I have an upcoming flight and I found the directions a little difficult to navigate. Watching this video made everything self-explanatory so I really appreciate it.

I currently use an Omnicharge 20+. It provides multiple charging options to include DC out which you can setup for the output needed. I use it to power my Airmini. I can get 1-2 nights on a full charge. $249.00. Bonus is that you can actually power 120AC, USB-A and USB-C and it has pass through. Also meets TSA requirements.

Does hooking it up as a backup (constantly) shorten the life of the battery in the long run?

Yes, I'm also wondering if that 'pass through' time counts against the 500 cycles despite, theoretically, there being no actual cycle made unless/until the electricity goes off and the cpap draws from the battery alone.

No. It will not put usage or "cycles" on the battery to have it connected full time. Only if it has to discharge and recharge in the event of a power outage.

Staggeringly expensive for what you get. 500 cycles? Appreciate the video.

You are welcome. The 500 cycles seems to be a bit of a standard with most of these small batteries.

How many mAh does it have? Don’t bother to look the mAh up as I went ahead and purchased on of the Easylonger batteries. Thanks for a pretty good video though. To be thorough you might cover the mAh of these batteries. Usually it is easily found iron the box, or in directions, etc. Best wishes!

The battery is a variable voltage unit and can both recharge and discharge on voltages between 10-28V. It is measured in capacity at 99.68Wh. So, using the voltage of your particular CPAP, you can calculate the mAh. Keep in mind, alot of batteries that are measured in mAh are for 5V small electronics, so if the number seems low, it's because CPAP are 12-24V depending on the manufacturer.
