    These LiFePO4 batteries can be charged to 100% as often as you want without serious degradation compared with an NMC (Lithium Ion) battery. You need the light for the two only reasons to buy this: Power outages and camping. Seems a bit obvious to me. Also, before you peeled back the flap for the USB C port, the flap said IN/OUT, but you claimed it was in only. Thanks for the review

    I have tested the EasyLonger 960 with my Resmed Aircurve 10 Bipap.
    Here is my results after each night:
    * If you DON'T use the humidifier & heated hose: After 8 hours, it only lost 1 bar, and it had PLENTY of power. Probably good for 2-3 nights (8 hrs. each time)
    * If you DO use the humidifier & heated hose: It ran out of power at just under 6 hours.

    I had a huge problem with SUPER-DRY mouth using my CPAP. I now use a CHIN STRAP on my face, and that problem is 100% solved! Even when I turn humidifier off - which of course saves tons of battery power. I use a full-face mask as well, not the nose-only mask.
    Get. A. Strap.

    Great video. I’ve been looking to buy something to charge my cpap in case of the electricity goes out. What is that mount you have for your hose. Mine has a tendency to fall between the mattress and headboard causing some neck discomfort and sometimes just wakes me up from it tugging my head.

      Thanks. Yea this little hose clamp thingie is great. It keeps the hose at the proper angle, but also serves as a sort of "anchor" point in case I inadvertently move and yank kinda hard on the hose. This clamp will take that "yank", rather than me risking sending the machine flying. Here is the one I use: amzn.to/3ThNa2i

    i just use a 12V 100 ah lifepo4 battery and a 100 watt solar panel to recharge the battery during the day
    total cost $200 and yes it's larger but i does just what i need.
    i can now go on fishing trips and camp for a couple days for the first time in years.
    you can put a wet wash choth in the water tank and get humidity for the CPAP without using the heater.

      The run time in those less. Those are intended to be used just long enough to be shut down ASAP. Plus those batteries are terrible and way smaller and the beep loudly every minute.

      Hi,this is EASYLONGER
      Several factors can influence the runtime of a CPAP machine:
      1, Humidifier and Heater Use
      2, Pressure Settings
      3, Mask Type
      4, Auto Mode
      5, Machine Type
      6, Auto Leak Compensation
      7, Ramp Feature (On/Off/Time Setting)
      8, Exhalation pressure relief setting
      9, Therapy Mode
      10, Ambient Temperature
      11, User's Breathing Habits
      12, Altitude
      13, Bluetooth/App/Wireless
      14, Smart start/stop feature
      Under the same settings and usage conditions, power consumption will be as follows:Travel/Mini CPAP < CPAP machine < Automatic Positive Airway Pressure (APAP)

    my math is not adding up. at nearly 300 watt hrs capacity, according to amazon and running lowest voltage..12v. that would be 25 amp hrs capacity not 96000 mAhr (or 96 amp hrs). 300/12=25

    If you set the volts to 24 for your CPAP machine does that set the volts for all the output ports because you won't be able to charge your cell phone on this thing while your sleeping. I mean I don't think the USB ports should switch to 24 volts but it's not really explained.

    • @GreatLakesPrepping
      @GreatLakesPrepping  4 місяці тому +1

      I believe it only affects the CPAP adapter output. I can't say for certain, but I believe you're still good to charge your phone and such.

    So in your opinion which is better the deep cycle battery and an inverter or this? Or both?

    • @GreatLakesPrepping
      @GreatLakesPrepping  6 місяців тому +1

      This gadget is much more convenient and portable. The marine battery and inverter will power much more stuff, and for way longer. If I'm only needing to power my machine for a night, I'd grab this thing. Otherwise, I gotta go with the big battery.

    I’m new to this subject and in search of a backup supply for my Bipap machine.
    Can this unit run as a UPS? does it have the pass thru feature in other words. I’d like to plug in the wall 24/7.

    • @GreatLakesPrepping
      @GreatLakesPrepping  6 місяців тому +1

      To the best of my knowledge, this device probably won't quite work that way. It plugs into the wall only to charge its own battery. If you plugged something into it, it would drain the battery even if the battery is plugged in (because it would drain faster than it can charge). That being said, you can get a UPS that will probably work for the same amount or less than this costs.

      @@simonbustin9543 Hello, sorry for the late reply.
      You don't need to turn off all these functions. We will recommend: First, fully charge your ES960 battery, use it according to your normal settings of CPAP, and test the runtime. If it meets your needs, you don't need to make any settings changes. If the runtime is too short, please turn off the most power-consuming functions, such as turn off the humidification and heating, reduce the pressure level, adjust the mask position, reduce air leakage, etc. I hope this can help you^^

    • @GreatLakesPrepping
      @GreatLakesPrepping  4 місяці тому

      If they accept a normal 110v plug, then I'm sure it would work with a resmed. But I couldn't speak to how long it would power the machine. I have a fairly large UPS for my computer, and it would likely not power my CPAP for a whole night.

      Those have lead acid batteries in em and would need to recharge em more often, the lifepo would last longer it has about 3000 recharge cycles and the lead acid much less which means u would need to replace those batteries more often so cost would be much higher.
