  • THIS IS THE WRONG VIDEO... please watch this OTHER one instead that actually explains how it works: • Seakeeper Gyroscopic S...
Angular Momentum provides "resistance" to rotation. The large angular momentum vector requires considerable more angular momentum to change direction.

It would have been more effective a demonstration if both boats would have encountered the disturbing force simultaneously. This demonstration was somewhat confusing.

How light is the boat on the right?!! I never seen even Aluminium boats, swinging so badly on small wave.

You bring up a good point. I don't know. Certainly the company is going to produce a demo to maximally demonstrate their device. I only meant to explain the demo.

The boat on the right ways 46lb more because there is an extremely large collection of Beanie Babies displayed in the bunk

Seems like every boat should’ve had this

Has anyone ever put one in a trophy truck and tested its jumping stability? I think this tech could change off road jumps for the better!

Boats are much easier to stabilise as it already is in water. A car mid air would be wayy harder to control as it already has air resistance. But the idea could work maybe

@josiah Mid-engines already do this to a degree with the counter rotation of the engine and drivetrain spinning in the opposite directions. Robby Gordon figured that out 20+ years ago, that’s why they fly flatter off the jump compared to a front engine setup

Gyroscopes are used in rockets, ballistic missiles, etc, so, yes.

Does it benefit the stability of an aluminum boat with a shallow draft?
