You can make one of these with a heavy flywheel and a motor... to scale, of course... Actually, just a spinning motor (set up vertically or athwartship) would have some gyro effect against roll as well .

Well this should've been used other way around, to make boat roll generate electricity using this device, and move the boat, not use electricity to subdue natural force, waste of energy and a total misuse...
There you go wrong, a bigger boat is much much more expensive and not less wiggling that much. 1 meter (3 feet) more boat will cost you at least the same money more and then its about 1 foot wider, so simply the same movements. This will help drastically. Love the system.
for naval use definetely not 10$ each and I think you mean angular speed sensor. But still you would sense something but how you want to make platform level?
Lmao. Bet this can be home-made for less than a 20th of the cost. Seems like they know their market though, people spend a fortune on their fancy boats 🤷🏻♂️.
Imperial Security Bureau look at the youttube vids how its made (discovery had it not long ago) and you will correct your statement. If you can build it for 1/20ths and proves it works the same, i will buy it. Dont forget about the safety, stability and needed software
@@bertpierey3655 I could quite easily do it not for 1/20th, but for at least 1/5th. It is ridiculous to claim that a modern car and a spinning chunk of aluminium have the same price.
Costa again, look how its made, then you know. Its very precision, its not a washing machine that already costs 1/20th and comapring to a modern car? Well you cant even buy 1 bitcoin for that price, and that doesnt spin at all, so whats your point. Look how its made, then talk again. Of course it can always be cheaper, Marine (like avation) costs 3 times more then road travel, but 1.20th is far from feasible.
She looks so happy to be there.
Where can we buy the working RC sized model of this ?
You learn something new every day...
This is an old video but your are 100% right
I wonder how effective it is on a Catamaran
They really flexed with this animation didn’t they
where do i buy one for my R/C boat
Walmart

This is what would happen if the earth stopped spinning. Everything would shake.
Should make that for micro boats like 16 footers as well!
Thought the same thing got a 16” tracker searching UA-cam for a diy vid 😂
i want to know why its free to bank in the X (front back) axis but not in the Y Horizontal axis riding the waves?
lol this gyro is massive compared to the size of the boat its in.... also must be very power hungry
Job91 -- people like you are so annoying
@@thomaspayne6866 lol
A n g e l o why?
Anyways, it serve it's purpose.
@@truce6441 yeah nicely taking up space
will it work if the waves will hit from the fron of the boat or the back of the boat?
It would slow the yaw
Or whatever axis that is
You know it works when you are not even suspicious of the old finger technique of testing. It is obviously working.

stay safe. that thing flies a part and it could kill or maim somebody.
where i can find this gyro for mini boat?
you could possibly make one

how much space does it take up?
For a moment I thought that price was for the RC boat....
I found the gyro used, it would not be hard to make a housing for it if you want me to share it with you
VERY COOL PRODUCT, and they do work like a charm, but if the smallest unit is over $22,000?
If you don't like rolling THAT MUCH, stay on land.
aWESOME tech
Gyroscope+car=drone 😌😌😌🤑
ha ha funny but true
very cool, finally 👍
Deceptive, test, not the same pressure used, on the scale model, the real time video was impressive
the test is good.
Wowza
Amazon sells that gyro for $250 CAN
I remember a car from the 1950s that did this
which one?
@@ElectricVehicleSpace I guess the Gyro-X?
Seakiper :)

Coool
She seems really really not excited hahah
really?
Boats don't get women wet, its the money that does.
She is so impatient, just let the boat alone to stabilize. Wow not cool!
i think she was alright
@@ElectricVehicleSpace Good for you.
rollio
for an additional $22700 per smallest of their systems and $27000 for this one you can simply buy a bigger more comfortable boat :)

A accelerametor is like 10$ each
You can achieve the same effect with one and a loop circuit

I would fire her with that attitude.
Ah - found the cheapes one - seakeeper 1 - weighs 150kg costs $100 per kg :) made of caviar.
